We loved staying here. The village is extraordinary, with its small sidewalks. The car must stay in a parking lot at the entrance. It's really peaceful. The accommodation is spacious, clean and well-equipped. Comfortable beds. Several terrace corners to enjoy the outdoors. The ocean view and sunsets are beautiful. Everything about it is excellent

Agnieszka is an extremely responsive and very friendly host. She's always ready to help if needed the rental is superb with breathtaking views in the middle of the banana fields. The apartment is very well-equipped, Agnieszka thought of everything. I recommend this rental 1000% in view of the location and the kindness of its host. Thanks again, Agnieszka. Joana’s place was more than we imagined! It was actually 2 individual apartments in one house, each with room for 2 families, though we were just 2 couples. The privacy and the beach view were worth the stairs climb!! The stairs are a workout!!! Joana was an amazing host. Would recommend highly!

Amazing view, nice and clean, looked exactly like the photos. Nice touches with the Madeira wine, bananas and coffee pods. Well fit out kitchen. Would stay here again if I’m ever back in Madeira!

We absolutely loved being right on the ocean! It was within feet of the house!- with the waves crashing and the patio where we ate all our meals, provided an excellent ambiance for our trip. We stayed 6 nights and were so glad we didn’t move around to other places. The promenade next to the house is very scenic and offered a one mile round trip walk along the ocean . Watching the surfers was also a plus.

Richard welcomed us warmly and showed us the accommodation, as well as gave tips for excursions. There was a folder with more information and tips in the accommodation. He was always easy to reach and responded immediately. We had a wonderful stay. The house looks like the pictures and everything was very clean and well maintained.

The accommodation of Maria Joana and Janine was amazing! We felt welcome from the start. The area is really nice and has lots to do and restaurants to go. The best thing is that we’ve seen one the best sunsets from our own balcony and that says a lot for Madeira! During our stay we have asked Janine for tips on where to go and it was like talking to a search engine. She instantly sent us links with spot on restaurants and shops. We would definitely recommend a stay here!

We can't make our stay at Francisco's place. The place met all of our expectations. Once we opened the entrance door, we were captivated by the view through the French doors to the terrace. The view was also fantastic during the day and at night. Everywhere cleanliness, order, beautifully decorated, accessories carefully selected. Kitchen furnished with everything needed. As a nice bonus, we were very pleasantly surprised by the “bluetooth speaker.” The shower had weaker water pressure, but it's probably normal on such a high hill. I recommend a car with a stronger motor, as the access to the accommodation is quite steep. But it doesn't change the fact that we 100% recommend a place to stay! And we wouldn't even consider other accommodations... We're giving 10 stars out of 10.

Very nice clean studio with a little kitchen with all amenities. Beautiful views from the balcony to the ocean and a part of the city. Calm. Elisabete was very friendly and responsive .

We had a great stay. Unfortunately, during our stay, a glass lid fell from the cupboard above the stove, onto the stove. It was broken. Immediately reported and arranged with the owner. Very nice. Furthermore, the location is great, it is very quiet and beautiful. You are exactly on the right sunny side of Madeira. The cocktail bar a little further, pukiki, is within walking distance and very nice to go to. Shops are close by, beach is close by and the beautiful hiking trails are perfect to drive to. There is no air conditioning, I think that if it gets warmer you will notice the heat but there is a fan. The beds by the pool had collapsed, we just used our outdoor chairs. Everything in the cottage is otherwise in order. No great luxury but perfect for the price, the location and everything you need is present.

Beautiful and very secluded place. The view from the house is amazing & the garden was so beautiful to relax in. The house itself was great. Kitchen wasn’t huge but we made it work - only difficulty was opening the oven door and getting stuff out when it’s so close to the fridge. The road up to the place was very steep and winding, but we managed fine in our car rental. It was tricky parking on the drive so we opted to park across the road instead which was absolutely fine. The home isn’t in walking distance to anything but it was nice to have dinner and the evening at the Airbnb, to enjoy the space :) Would defo stay here again.

My stay in Madeira was exceptional! The location was perfect, just a short walk to great restaurants and shops. The apartment was spotless, with top-notch amenities that made it very comfortable. The building itself was stunning, and the private rooftop pool was a fantastic bonus. Highly recommend!

We had a lovely stay with the five of us. It lacked nothing, really everything was present (even a cheese slicer, nice for a Dutchman😅). Also a lovely outdoor area with enough furniture for all of us. Highly recommended. I would love to come again.

Lovely apartment, very modern and well equipt with a beautiful terrace that overlooks the ocean and a nice pool area that is shared with 3 other apartments. We had a great time here and location was close to the main coastal road to do many day trips. Be carful with the road to the house, if you are not an experienced driver, it is quite steep. All in all a lovely place to stay!

Fantastic views from the garden. The host was super helpful and quick to respond. There was a very generous welcome gift of fruits and local produce.

Excellent stay in this house with everything you need to feel at home. It's a very well kept and very clean place. The outdoor terrace offers beautiful ocean views and allows you to watch beautiful sunsets. Having breakfast there is also very nice. The private parking space is very convenient. Emmanuel was very accommodating by giving us the opportunity to drop off our suitcases in advance. We didn't have to contact him during our 4-night stay because everything was impeccable. I would recommend this rental to friends without hesitation.

Very clean apartment in a great location close to the grocery store and the beach. Great view over the water. Really nice large patio with furniture in the back of the apartment as well as a little balcony looking towards the water. Street parking is a little tricky if the beach is really busy, be prepared to walk up some hills. Tiago even put together a list of recommendations for the island. We had a great stay!

If you're looking for a quiet area to get away from the crowds in the cities this is a wonderful place. It's nestled in the mountain valleys near Ponta do Prago but quite near the ocean. We loved our 6 day stay at Frederica 's. She provided good, clear instructions to get there. She also gave us very useful information on local attractions, restaurants and supermarkets. The house is on a very steep pitched road so walking up and down it can be a challenge ( we are in our 70's ) We did it a few times. There is a walk from her house to the waterfalls . It took us about 2 hrs. Rnd-trip but it was well worth it. If we were to return we'd go back in April or later.

The place was spectacular in terms of the scenic views and the comfort. Everything was very kept and clean, having all the amenities needed by a huge group of people. A very respectful and responsive host (Carla) was amazing and helpful! Will definitely come back again!
