A short distance from Porto, not far from Coimbra and very close to Aveiro, you will find a natural lagoon . Casa da Salgada in the village of Fermentelos, more precisely in the street of Salgada that begins near the house and ends a few meters lower on the shore of the lagoon of Pateira. Built at the end of the 19th century by a merchant based in Brazil, it was completely renovated at the beginning of 2021, the result is a house with soul and history dressed in comfort and charm.

Between the estuary and the sea, the house is located in the quiet and picturesque Costa-Nova. It is a traditional wooden haystack, from the late nineteenth century ideal for families or groups of friends, for the 5 rooms it has, but sufficiently cozy for small families. 10 minutes from Aveiro, it is also a wonderful place for children, with many activities available from water sports, walkways, mini golf and tennis.
