Historical Vintage Villa Within a Mountain and Castle

Rediscover mid-century modern aesthetics at this vintage inspired home. The residence features warm woods, contrasting textures and motifs, light hues, a floating staircase, a minimalist interior design approach, and rooftop views from the balcony to the castle and mountains. Located in the old town, nearby the church of Saint John, you will find the area quiet and silent, all you need to spend some relaxing days. Casa do Adro offers all the amenities of a new modern house, but with the retro/vintage touch and comfort. On the ground floor we have a fully vintage style equipped kitchen with dish washer, laundry, living room and service toilet. There is a big table where 8 people can comfortably sit for dinner, and where we daily serve breakfast with Regional fruit, home made jams, juice and locally bread. The living room offers a nice flat TV and sofa. You can go through 100 international channels, or simply rest or read a book, inside or outside on the terrace. The first floor has two rooms, both with double bed. The bathroom is shared between the two rooms and each room offers air conditioning and splendid views over the mountains and the castle of Porto de Mós. Guests will have access to the whole house. I have limited availability, even though I am reachable 24 hours on the phone and email. Whenever I can, and if my guests feel like, I enjoy a good chat and get to know people. Sharing experiences makes part of the Airbnb concept. The Villa do Adro is located in the historical area of Porto de Mós village. Guests can easily walk to places of interest such as Porto de Mós Castle, the town hall square, and the Serra de Aire and Candeeiros Natural Parks with great trails, caves and views. Parking is always available by the house. The walk to the Village takes 5 mins, and from there you can take buses to the main attractions (Nazaré, Leiria, Fátima, Batalha, etc). We will get in touch with the guests to arrange the check in.

Very satisfied with the accommodation chosen for our visit to Nazare' even if the period to see the waves was not the right one. We took advantage of the location to visit Lisbon Paniche and Porto. Great location for our short vacation in Portugal, but we will be back and probably to Daniela's.

Only gratitude, Sandra was very helpful, she picked me up and took me to the bus station. He taught me the easiest way to go downtown and the places I wanted to visit. Super friendly and amiable. Leiria is a beautiful, peaceful city with easy access to nearby sites via convenient buses. This beautiful, cozy, unique home was a perfect space to enjoy while we visited surrounding sites as well as beautiful Leiria. Walking along the river everyday was really special. Highly recommend.

If you're looking for a home from home, then this is the villa for you and your family/friends! This amazing spotlessly clean property is large, light and airy located up in the hills of Leiria and had everything we needed (the kitchen was extremely well equipped!!) to make our stay very comfortable. There was an assortment of games at our disposal (both indoors and outdoors) for all the family to enjoy....and we did! 🙂 The villa is a short drive from Leiria town which has a very large supermarket, shops and restaurants. Our host Luis kindly left us a selection of local fresh cakes for us upon arrival. He was very quick to respond to any queries we had, and before our arrival sent us lots of useful recommendations on restaurants, places to go etc. We highly recommend this accommodation and the very welcoming hospitality. Thank you Luis! Loretta and Malcolm.
