Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Potrero

This place was ideal. Walkable to all the restaurants, but just out of the way so there's no noise or heavy traffic. The place is gated so you have a sense of security and privacy. Very clean, comfortable and relaxing. I will definitely return.

This was our second time staying at this beautiful home and we actually changed our travel dates based on the times it was available...it's that nice. The view is probably the best in Playas del Coco and the property is super-private. The second bedroom is secluded at the end of the house with it's own entrances so people staying with you will have their own privacy. The house is walking distance to town and the beach but because it is at the top of a hill, the climb could be a challenge for some people. But it is a cheap taxi ride from the beach so really not an issue. Jeannyna is great with communication regarding instructions and house policy and she responds quickly if you have any issues. There is not a bad thing that I can say about this property and we will stay hear again and again.

Jennifer and Chip are the best hosts that you can ever hope for! Great communicators, very knowledgeable about the area and things to do, immediate responsiveness to anything that was needed, and just amazing overall people! We had their rental for 3 months and it was a wonderful experience! Thanks so much Jenn and Chip!

We had a fantastic stay. It was the perfect spot for our family, and we appreciated how well-stocked the kitchen was, as well as the availability of beach towels. It felt like home for the few weeks we were there. Alexandre was really helpful and friendly, and gave great recommendations for the area. Would stay again!

Staying at Pastora’s place was an absolute dream — hands down the most gorgeous Airbnb I’ve ever stayed at. The space is a perfect example of indoor-outdoor living, designed with so much intention, beauty, and connection to nature. Waking up to the sounds of the jungle and being surrounded by lush greenery was truly magical. Yes, there are a few bugs here and there, but that’s to be expected when you’re nestled in the heart of the jungle — and honestly, it just added to the experience. Nothing major, just part of being immersed in such a natural paradise. Pastora was an absolute angel. She offered to make us an authentic Costa Rican breakfast — complimentary! — which was such a thoughtful and generous gesture. Both she and her husband went above and beyond to make sure we felt cared for, safe, and supported. Their warmth and hospitality made this stay feel not only relaxing, but genuinely nourishing. I’m so grateful for my time here. It was beautiful, peaceful, and unforgettable. 💗

Amazing, and we can’t wait to return! Estevan was such a great communicator and so welcoming. We appreciate the Estefan’s suggestions for beaches, local needs, etc….. Those small gestures go a long way. The house is so beautiful, functional and extremely comfortable. You can hear the nature at this location and it’s very close to everything lovely in the area. It’s quiet yet close to your needs. Incredible & highly recommend.

Everything about this place was amazing! The view is spectacular! We spent most mornings drinking coffee on the patio and afternoons in the infinity pool overlooking the beach. The back patio felt very private as well. Very spacious for our family of 4, with each bedroom having their own private restroom as well as a hall restroom. Kitchen was beautiful and very well stocked, had every cooking utensil we needed. Great proximity to everything. 10 min to Playa Flamingo, Brasilito & Conchal as well as many restaurants and the Super Massi grocery store. 30 min to Tamarindo for a fun town. Hemingways for great pizza and sunset on the beach and Waffle Monkey for some killer breakfast. Hosts were very responsive and welcoming. 100% would recommend!!!!

El lugar está muy cerca de playas preciosas, sin ruido innecesario, alojamiento igual a lo ofertado en la página, limpio, bien equipado, muy buena atención de Andrés para todas las inquietudes que tuvimos, las instalaciones muy limpias y seguras. Definitivamente volvería en fechas futuras. Sí es recomendable tener vehículo alto para éstas fechas con lluvia, para poderse trasladar dentro de la zona, ya que la calle de entrada es de lastre

The condo was as described and is in a great location. The views are beautiful and the grounds are well maintained. The little beach is great and there are many iguana around the property, much to the delight of our child. The pool was clean and there was plenty of room. We would definitely stay there again.

Clean, bright, airy apartment right on Potrero beach. Comfortable bed, plenty of hot water, and a very well-equipped, spacious kitchen. 5-10 minute walk—via the beach if we wanted—to several excellent restaurants and a serviceable grocery store. Loved watching pelicans dive for fish from the balcony and the stunning sunsets.

Прекрасная квартира в доме, окруженном деревьями, на которых бывают обезьяны, попугаи, т.е. можно даже не ходить в национальные парки. Место очень тихое и приватное. В квартире имеется всё необходимое и соответствует описанию и фотографиям. Хозяева очень внимательные и отзывчивые. Гости могут пользоваться стиральной машиной и сушилкой. Гостям предоставляются пляжные коврики, пляжные кресла и зонты от дождя и прогулок под солнцем. До пляжа 5 минут ходьбы. Для гостей с большим багажом недостатком будет не асфальтированная дорога в горку к дому, по которой трудно подниматься с тяжелым багажом. Мы готовы в будущем останавлиться у Katie & Happy и рекомендуем всем.

The apartment was just perfect for our week long stay. It was huge with plenty of space. The kitchen had all the things we needed to make coffee and cocktails. We even had a full size fridge. The rooftop area was an added plus. We hung out there at night and could hear the howler monkeys. The apartment is also a 5-10 minute walk to Playa Brasalitp and local restaurants. We would definitely stay here again!

Incredible views, friendly hosts, and luxury feel. Worth every dollar if you're contemplating spending a bit more money for this accommodation.

I had a great one night stay. Hosts Sidey and Alex were very welcoming. Alex helped me pick up a toothbrush and water at the local shop and brought me to a restaurant so that I could have dinner so I didn’t have to walk alone after dark. The restaurant was in walking distance and I enjoyed my meal there and talking with Alex. The accommodations were clean, comfortable and spacious. I appreciated the delicious fresh lemonade in the fridge when I arrived. A/C worked great as well as Internet service and television! Got a great nights sleep and woke to bird song. I recommend this AirBnB and would definitely return again if in the area and needing a place to stay! It is very convenient to Liberia airport just about 15 minutes down the road.

This place is soo beautiful. Get ready to have the ocean just in front of you all day long. Just by sitting in this living room while looking at the ocean, you will be able to get so much peace and rest. Chris and Nadia are sooo friendly. Always looking to make you feel right at home.

Great place to stay! We loved the location and there were restaurants. We enjoyed within walking distance that had live music. We were there mostly to dive and the place is 6 minutes from our dive shop. The air conditioning worked well which was important since it was so hot out. Place was very clean and our host was very responsive to any questions. Just make sure to clarify exactly where the location is because it shows differently on the Airbnb app. We would stay again!

¡Nos encanta! Ya nos hemos hospedado dos veces y es hermoso. El condo es súper cómodo y está totalmente equipado. La reserva preciosa y el Beach Club nos encanta para pasar el día. La playa es de las más lindas del país. Definitivamente recomiendo si buscan un lugar familiar, cómodo y con acceso directo a la playa Conchal.

This place is fantastic, spotless, well equipped, secure, easy to access and a beautiful ocean view. The beach chairs/umbrella are a great bonus which we used to enjoy Playa Flamingo in comfort David is a generous, responsive host. Thank you for hosting us.

Great location, our only wish is that the property would have an elevator. Everything about this condo was exactly as listed, great private beach to anyone that finds this place.

Loved staying at Katie & Happy’s place! It was a little walk from downtown Tamarindo, but we loved making the walk and noticed a lot of people utilized the scooters all around or had rented golf carts, which we would have opted for if we brought our kids. They provided beach towels and chairs that we used often and a filtered water pitcher in the fridge so that saved us on purchasing bottled water, which was so helpful. There was a little market close by and several amazing restaurants. The pizza place across the street was the best pizza we’ve ever had and I went to the nearby snack shack for açaí bowls and coffee almost daily. Langosta was a beautiful area to stay in with close private beach access. We were also able to walk the beach to Tamarindo at low tide. We loved this place and location and would definitely stay here again! Thanks Katie & Happy!
