Guanajuato is a charming studio in the heart of Ajijic. Note that due to low ceilings the suite is not suitable for tall people and that the bed is double-sized and may feel a bit small for two adults sharing. Only two blocks from the main square at the San Andres church, and two blocks from the lake Chapala boardwalk it is a brief walk to numerous restaurants, galleries, various kinds of shopping and more. As a guesthouse we have housekeeper with onsite presence Monday through Saturday.

Extra paid options exist for secure parking, and Romantic get away theme. Please make a note of the following factors: It is close to the main road, so there is some traffic noise. There are 19 steps to navigate so is unsuitable for people in wheelchairs or bad knees as well as children.

You’ll have use of our palapa and heated pool, and we have great restaurants nearby. Villa Nova is a lovely neighborhood west of the village. Our friendly dogs, Chaquita and Rosie, will want a hello, but you can close the gated garden area for privacy. You will have a refrigerator, hot plate, coffee pot, microwave, dishes, and grill. No children under 12, please, because of the pool. The suite is perfect for 1 to 4 people, not any more than 4.
