Vacation rentals with a patio in Porto Novo

Bruno est réactif. Il prend des nouvelles durant le séjour pour savoir si on a besoin de quelque-chose. Il répond rapidement quand on le contacte. L'appartement n'est pas loin du centre de Mindelo et il est à proximité de la police. Il y a également un centre médical juste à côté.

Logement très spacieux et propre, conforme aux photos et situé à une quinzaine de minutes à pieds du centre, du port et de la plage. J'ai été très bien accueillie par Jamila, un grand merci à elle ! La quartier est assez animé, il se peut que le soir on entende pas mal de bruit, donc penser à prendre des boules quies si on est sensible au bruit la nuit.

Elsa is an extraordinary host. The apartment is probably the most beautiful on the island - with views of the ocean, the mountains, and everything else. A grocery store right in the building, and a pool downstairs (it was being renovated when we were there so we didn't get to use it, but it looks stunning). There is also a second grocery store via a 7 minute walk, and CNAD is about 8 minutes away, not to mention the 10-12 minute walk to the beach. I can't say enough wonderful things about Elsa as a host - she goes out of her way to make you feel connected to the community. Thanks, Elsa!

Bohème (van Filomena Apartments) is perfect! Mijn tripje naar Sao Vicente was bedoeld om tot rust te komen en dat is helemaal gelukt. Lekker met koffie en een boek in de ochtendzon op het balkon. Wakker worden onder de superschone douche mét een goeie straal. En dan wandelend naar de (super)markt, het strand of een eettentje - keuze genoeg op loopafstand - om einde middag weer terug te komen voor een siësta in een heerlijk koele slaapkamer op een fijn matras. 's Avonds kookte ik zelf - ook de keuken is van alle gemakken voorzien - of bracht één van de bekende taxichauffeurs me naar de mooiste plekjes in Mindelo. Je kunt je prima vermaken in het prachtige appartement (bijv. Netflix op de tv's en tafelspellen) maar op het eiland is genoeg te doen (bijv. autotourtje langs Salamsa en Monte Verde enz.). Elida en Nuun hebben goeie tips en de bewoners van Sao Vicente laten je graag hun eiland zien. Gewoon vragen; mensen zijn echt lief en bij Filomena Aprtmnts ben je in de beste handen. Bêjus!

Mindelo Sunset - Ocean View! What a beautiful place! It was super clean, organized, and beautifully decorated. The unit has a nice vibe to it and had everything that I needed; I felt right at home! And the view! Oh my Goodness, what a view! Nothing better than waking up to a beautiful view of Monte Cara and Laginha beach! Also, the location is perfect: it's a short walk to Laginha beach and very close to Mindelo's center (downtown area) which you can find many restaurants, cafes, etc. The neighborhood is safe and the building is secure, which was exactly what I was looking for. Safety is a non negotiable for me. I also loved the fact that there is a cafe and mini-market right on the ground floor! That was super convenient for me! The host was professional, prompt, and super friendly! The host's description of the place is on point, nothing more and nothing less. Overall, I had a great experience and will definitely be staying at Mindelo Sunset again!

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour chez Kai, Mary et Larissa. Des hôtes avec un sens de l’accueil plus que chaleureux, plein de petites attentions pour ma famille. Le logement est très très bien équipé et très spacieux. Logement éloigné du centre dans un quartier authentique mais nous ne regrettons pas notre choix cela nous a permis d éviter la foule et le bruit du carnaval. À voir absolument pour ceux qui se questionneraient sur le choix de la date! ;) c est juste magnifique et une ambiance magique! Je recommande plus plus ce logement et cette famille. J’espère y revenir un jour! Un super chauffeur de taxi (Calu) nous a été envoyé par Kai, joignable facilement et très arrangeant lui aussi. Bref un super séjour merci à vous pour ces merveilleux souvenirs. Fanny

we enjoyed our stay in the mountains a lot. it was an unique experience! the village is small but offers two restaurants and two mini markets (the range of products is very small though). from the appartement there are many options for hikes and Jordi offers great advice for where to go. beautiful place.

Bruna the host was lovely, she was extremely helpful and accommodating as my friends took their baby and the place was all kitted with a cot for the baby! The house is spacious with comfortable beds, a huge patio with beautiful views of and a walking distance from the city centre. They also managed booking tours and activities in the island which was extremely helpful. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting the island and would 100% stay here again. Thank you for the lovely hospitality!

Schöne, moderne Wohnung etwas außerhalb des Zentrums, ca 5 min zu Fuß zum Stadtstrand und etwa 10 min ins Zentrum. Die Wohnung ist neuwertig eingerichtet, sauber und hat alles was man für einen gelungenen Urlaub benötigt. Angenehmes Bett und Dusche mit ordentlichem Wasserdruck. Empfehlenswert! Deborah ist eine aufmerksame Gastgeberin, die Kommunikation mit ihr war sehr einfach und schnell.

Liliana is a very heartwarming host, quick to respond to your questions and helpfull in aiding your trip around Saõ Vicente. Couldn’t have wished for more. About the appartment. It is located right on the sea board. A beautiful and tranquil place to enjoy the ocean, read a book and at night you have an amazong view of the stars. There’s a garden with a lot of shade and place to relax. Right next door there’s a small turtle sanctuary and you can make a roundtrip by foot around the vulcano. So enough to do for everyone. Inside the appartment is very clean, tidy en cozy. We enjoyed our stay very much!

Mon séjours s’est extrêmement bien passé ! J’ai eu de la chance qu’il n’y avais personne d’autre qui logeais au même moment donc j’avais la maison entière que pour moi. Il y avais une belle vue sur toute la ville depuis le toit c’était très agréable. 🥰 tout étais propre et bien ranger. A quelques minutes à pieds de la plages, restaurants etc . La hôte a été très accueillante, aimable et gentille. Je recommande ce logement sans aucun doute!

Many thanks to let us stay at your place. Just behind (80m) bakery Morbeza. In a quit street. Lovely decorated, specios and welcomimg. A small patio to dry your clothes. The leving room is clever designed and the bedroom is at the back side. Perfect for a couple or max 3 persons. Lorry responds quick and is there to show you the appartment at check inn. I can't believe I missed out on this village for so long! My family is from Porto Novo, and it never occurred to me to visit this place. It is a hidden gem for anyone who enjoys quiet spaces by the sea. The cottage itself is magical. I love the stone wall structure, the openness of the area, and the view and sound of the ocean right in front of me. The kitchen is well-equipped, making it perfect for anyone or a family to prepare homemade meals. The bed has an iron-sprung mattress, and I can’t remember the last time I slept on one. The waves pick up at night, lulling you to sleep and making you forget about everything else. There is no ATM here. Bring enough cash and a card. Also, consider buying extra bread in Porto Novo before arriving here. Bread sells quickly in Tarrafal. It was so nice to find some in the freezer. This side of the island has the best rum “grogue” in Santo Antao. Buy some! If you visit Tarrafal during the sea turtle nesting season, volunteer with TerriMar. Obrigado!

My family and I are visiting Cabo Verde for the first time and decided to travel to Santo Antão for 2 days and 1 night from São Vicente—but we wish we had extended our trip. Hannelore’s house is absolutely beautiful. The scenic rooftop view is unmatched, and you immediately feel at home. The best part of our trip was how welcoming Hannelore was and her commitment to making our stay stress-free. She was very flexible, offered us many recommendations, and even offered to help book taxis and make dinner reservations for us. We will definitely be back in Santo Antão and look forward to visiting again!
