Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Porto Covo

We loved our stay at Gonçalo's place. Beautiful, tranquil and chic, the space was the perfect hideaway for our vacation in Comporta. Close to all the beaches, restaurants and everything the area has to offer. The large, lofty and airy space is tastefully decorated with beautiful artwork, lovely furniture and small touches. The large eating and many sitting areas inside and out offered lots of options to lounge, relax, read a book or nap. Notably, Gonçalo is a cool and interesting guy. He gave us insider recommendations for hidden beaches we would have never discovered on our own. A special treat was Gonçalo's assistant Inês who made our stay incredible. She welcomed us warmly, took care of small requests, offered advice on local restaurants, and even hand picked fresh fruits and vegetables from the garden! Thank you Inês for making us feel at home! Highly recommend staying here if your looking for a chic and designer space in Comporta.

An excellent beach stay, full of great amenities, nice quality appliances and linens, flexible bed combinations for families, fabulously located to beautiful beaches and a communicative and generous host. Highly recommended. Thank you.

We’ve been to Portugal many times, especially the Alentejo region, but this stay was truly special. The apartment is spacious, with two beautiful bedrooms and bathrooms, and everything was spotlessly clean. Fresh flowers greeted us on arrival – such a thoughtful detail. The view is breathtaking, and the kitchen is equipped with everything you could possibly need. Forget all the tiny houses trying to distract you while scrolling – this is the one. A perfect place for anyone looking for peace, beauty, and a truly idyllic escape.

We had a great stay at Sylvie's house, which is very well equipped and comfortable. Sylvie is super friendly and responds quickly to queries. We had our dog with us and loved the fact that we could access a lovely walk straight from the property which leads to the lighthouse and coastal path from where there are spectacular views. The only downside for us was that the nearest beach does not allow dogs even out of the main season. It is a little way out of the main area of Ferragudo but this was not a problem as there were plenty of parking opportunities. Only an 8 minute drive to 2 main supermarkets so easy to stock up with supplies. We would definitely come back again next time we are in the area.

Highly recommend this place! It was exactly what we needed for a friends’ trip; everyone had their own bedroom with a bathroom, kitchenette and balcony! The location is amazing — rural, quiet, beautiful — but only 40 mins away from some of the most beautiful beaches in Portugal. The hosts were so friendly, always making sure we had everything we needed. I’d book again in a heartbeat!

We enjoyed the time in Cristina's house with two families. It was a summer vacation as you imagine it. The house has everything it needs and it was very pleasant and quiet. A fence around the pool would be great (which doesn't look nice, but would be practical) since we had a toddler with us. We had to help ourselves. For other families, this would certainly also be practical and one more reason to rent the great house.

This was our first visit to the southern region of Portugal and we initially intended to stay in Portimao. At some point this listing caught my eye and I initially dismissed it, since it wasn’t the right location, but over the next few days I kept coming back to it and finally booked the property. Zero regrets! The house is well designed, fully stocked and beautifully decorated. We loved the location - it provided a tranquil escape at the end of our busy day trips. There are a couple of small markets that have all the basics within a 5 minute drive, and an Intermarché working 15 minutes. Lots of fabulous restaurants. We loved pizza at Arte Bianca and had a lovely traditional meal at III Geração, based on the host’s recommendation. There are many picturesque beaches in the vicinity, from wild and rugged, to sandy ones with all the infrastructure. I only wish we had allocated more days to this part of our Portugal visit.

We had a wonderful stay and were very satisfied with the accommodation and amenities. The studio was well-equipped with all the essential kitchen appliances, as well as a grill and an iron, which made our stay feel just like home. One of the highlights was the sunny terrace, where we spent our evenings watching shooting stars—it was truly magical. There was also a hammock available, perfect for relaxing during the day. The bed linens and towels were spotless and smelled absolutely amazing, which added a lovely touch of comfort and cleanliness. The surrounding area was charming and peaceful, with a pleasant walking path leading directly to the beach—an ideal location for a relaxing holiday. The host was very friendly, responsive, and always ready to help whenever we had questions. We would definitely recommend this place and would love to come back in the future!

Lovely place and Victor was such a kind host. Perfectly situated with parking right beside the apartment but also in the centre of town. Super clean and big apartment. Loved our stay here.

We had a very nice time at Pacha Mama Community. Lovely decorated and cosy appartements. Despite the warm weather it stayed relatively cool in the appartement and it was nice there were mosquito nets in the windows. I loved joining the yoga class in the morning which was also for beginners.

Loved our stay at Claudia’s apartment. The area was super clean and exactly as seen in the photos. The area is in a great location right at the centre of all the action but up a very clam side street meaning we had no noise issues at night. Would highly recommended this apartment. We also organised a transfer through Claudia which was so handy!

The apartment is beautiful, clean and with many utensils, even more than necessary, to have a great stay (airfrier, rice maker, modern vacuum cleaner, among others). We felt at home and not in a rental apartment. Unforeseen events happened and the hosts were quick to resolve them, showing empathy. Thank you Tom for the quick solution and for being available to communicate.

Host and owner were wonderful ! I did change my stay BUT ** only because I was looking for something more upbeat and party vibe such as Albufeira. The apartment itself is good and has a lot of space, and everything you need as well as a full living room with a big TV. I am in my early 30s and this is my first time in the Algarve so I had mistakenly booked something I thought was more central. This is of no fault to the host or the owner - great communication and kindness on their end :) They are very understanding and flexible. The apartment is still probably 15-20 minutes walking from the city centre and 5 from the marina. Definitely a quieter stay if you want an escape from the touristy towns! Thank you again xx

First of all, Charo. She is a concerned and very communicative hostess and makes every effort to ensure that everything runs according to the satisfaction of the guests. The apartment is spacious, it is fully equipped and it is totally central. Carrapateira is tranquil and beautifully embedded in the countryside. Beautiful apartment with everything: kitchen with all the necessities and more, small terrace in front with morning sun. Larger terrace at the back with sun the rest of the day but half covered so that the sun does not shine in. View of swimming pool and hills. Electric shutters and air conditioning everywhere. We spent 3 days in this space and it was refreshing. Calm, rustic and cozy atmosphere. Very friendly and available hosts. The accommodation is about 5 minutes from downtown Porto Covo. We also went to Sines, Vila Nova de Milfontes. There are lots of beaches nearby. The accommodation's pool is also great. The entire space is well cared for and maintained. There were still 3 kittens that made us miss our own that stayed at home. We thought that because it had horses, the farm would have a lot of flies and insects, but none!! On the last day, we went horseback riding with Maria, who notoriously takes care of her animals as family. It was the cherry on top. Definitely a place to go back to!

The price is very good. It's very close to where we want to go, but there are no shops and restaurants around. The environment is very good. There are a lot of people.

Beautiful cabin in the nature, perfect for a disconnect from day to day life. Despite being isolated, you do not sacrifice comfort. The cabin is very well equipped and serviced with all the amenities you’d need. Very peaceful, very relaxing. We hope to be back again.

Great stay at Wolf's property 🤗 If you are looking for calm and beautiful landscapes, this is the place, between mountain, river, deer and nature! A big thank you to Wolf who was very welcoming, always available and smiling (despite our little adventures🙃). He gave us all the directions about the house and the surroundings to make sure we had a pleasant week. Very understanding, he accepted that we came with our 2 female dogs, to enjoy this haven of peace and freedom. (and they loved the place!). The wooden house was perfectly as described and is really very well-equipped. Everything was perfect, great week, a big thank you for offering this type of vacation 😊 PS: Follow Wolf's directions for check-in to avoid a more complicated route given by Waze 😉

It was an amazing experience! I recommend it to anyone looking for an escape from the city and to spend a moment in connection with nature!

Friendly & flexible hosts, it was cool to go for a horse ride. Great stop if doing a road trip down the coast. Might get pretty warm in summer cos there’s no A/C, (by the evening it was breezy & there was a fan but it warmed up in the room by mid morning). The pool was refreshing and very pleasant. A nice stop overall!
