Luxury Pod on Islay with Hot Tub

KareezaRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
This place is STUNNING! We were sad we only had a couple of nights there. When we come back, we will stay at least 4 days, maybe a week here. The hot tub is perfect with a fantastic view of the water and sunset. The pod is cozy, just the right amount of space for two. Kitchen is well equipped, there's also a nice table to hangout witu a view.

A shoreline view captures a sandy beach with gentle waves lapping at the shore. The traditional white-washed cottages are seen lining the beach, set against a clear blue sky, with rocky outcrops visible in the foreground.

Sanaigmore Cottage

MeredithRating, 5 stars9 months ago
We enjoyed our stay at Margaret's place on Islay. The house was spacious, clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped, and we appreciated the separate washer and dryer. There are lovely walking pathways nearby, and we had some delicious dinners in the immediate area at the Port Charlotte Hotel and Lochindaal Seafood Kitchen. This is definitely a quieter part of the island.
A calm shoreline is depicted with gentle waves lapping against soft sandy beaches. A clear blue sky stretches overhead, while quaint houses and greenery are visible in the background, contributing to a serene coastal landscape.

Saddler's Brae, seafront house in Port Charlotte

AlexisRating, 5 stars1 month ago

StewartRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
The apartment was very spacious, well furnished, with all the facilities we needed. We were fortunate to be on Islay with warm sunny weather, so the private patio and seating overlooking the water was a great bonus. Birte was very helpful with advice when we arrived, and with clear labels on equipment, so everything went smoothly. We were able to park our car in the secure area behind the gate. Islay was of course a fabulous place for walking and nature. Various small cafes were mainly closed during our stay, which was Sunday to Wednesday in May, but we enjoyed good meals, drinks or coffees at Sea Salt, the Bridgend hotel and Lochside hotel. Strangely, we didn't manage to visit any distillery visitor centre.

Ballitarsin House modern chalet with loch views

CatRating, 5 stars4 days ago
"Serenity meets comfort in this modern haven!" We are a group of 6 travelers and had a wonderful experience at this amazing house in Bridgend. From the moment we arrived, we felt at home and thanks to the thoughtful touches eg: the comprehensive instruction manual on basic amenities, food and groceries stores nearby etc, the wide-ranging guidebooks well laid out on the table for walks, distilleries visits, bird watching etc.... there is just something for everyone with different interests. The house was fully equipped with everything we needed, and the clear instructions made it easy for all of us to settle in. The kitchen facilities were excellent, and the cleanliness of the rooms and toilets were impressive. Your home is truly a haven, and we felt so relaxed and at peace during our stay in this picture-perfect setting. We will be recommending to our friends and family this home and hope that we will return one day!

Coull Farm Cottage - Stunning Beach Views

TerrenceRating, 5 stars5 days ago
While weather was windy and rainy, the cottage was warm and cozy. Enjoyed watching the lambs and calf’s in the fields. The view out the main room is exactly as pictured, spectacular. Kitchen is well equipped for those who want to cook. Pat was a friendly host. Enjoyed talking with her every day. She explained how the farm worked, places to visit, and tracks to follow to see other parts of the island. We definitely want to return.

Luxury Accommodation Bay Views

AnneRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Even better than we had imagined! We stay at a lot of AirB&Bs and this is right at the top. The pictures can't fully capture the inviting, peaceful decor and sweeping views of the landscape and ocean from every floor. Our family of four stayed for 2 nights and we were all sad to leave. Caroline was very responsive and helpful. She sent video clips and pictures of the house prior to check in so that we found it easily, knew where to park and how to get in. She even provided food that we really appreciated for breakfast and snacks. We certainly didn't expect this level of hospitality. You won't find a better host. The house is an easy drive to Bushmills Distillery, Giant's Causeway and Carrick-a-Rede, as well as other sites in the area. We highly recommend Maegden's in Bushmills. The gourmet grilled cheese is amazing! If you are traveling to the area, look no further for a place to stay. You'll be glad you did!!
