This is a perfect, secluded, romantic retreat for two situated along a quiet lane with stunning panoramic westerly views over Cardigan Bay and the Llyn peninsula. The cottage is well-placed to explore Snowdon (30 minutes away), the Llyn peninsula (right in front of you) and the quiet coves and beaches of Anglesey (30 minutes away).

The Barn at Tan Y Rhiw nestles in the Nanmor valley, surrounded by ancient woodland, with spectacular views of Moel Ddu. A safe place to retreat from the world, and reconnect with nature, over two miles from the main road. Relaxing in the private garden listen to owls hooting or cuckoos calling. Walking from the door leads you to an old drovers track, or higher up through bilberry scrub to Cnicht, the Welsh Matterhorn, or along lanes and paths to secluded swimming spots in rivers and lakes.

Breath taking walks can be accessed from the doorstep which can take you along the beautiful coastal path and/or venture through farmland and take in the fresh air.

There's so much to explore and see in the area: Snowdonia, Portmeirion, castles, narrow gauge railways in nearby Porthmadog and if you are looking for more excitement try the zip wires at Blaenau and Llanberis. You have total privacy with no passing traffic. Peace & quiet, wildlife and wonderful walks all at your doorstep. Watch stunning sunsets over the bay and sunrises over Snowdon. The name Bryn Goleu means mountain light. One small/medium dog is welcome but please let us know and check the doggy rules with us.

Bronturnor Cottage is situated on a small farm near Porthmadog and Portmeirion. The cottage is in a peaceful rural setting, yet close to shops and other amenities. The cottage will sleep 4-6 and has a large living room with views towards the Ffestiniog Railway. Being a converted barn the cottage has plenty of character with exposed beams in the living room. We live next door in the farmhouse and will be on hand to welcome you.
