We are a family with five children , traveling for a month in Portugal and sleeping in Airbnb apartments, and this was by far the best house in every way: 1. The owner Tiago, from the first moment gives a warm and caring attitude and helps in all respects including the delicious treats at the check in, the host Ester is super nice . 2. The house itself is really beautifully decorated and fully equipped including games for children 3. The location is unbeatable- by foot there are amazing beaches, a gorgeous pool, and delicious restaurants In short, perfect

The studio had everything I needed to cook my own meals and enjoy my morning coffee. The location was within walking distance to a variety of cafes and restaurants. The host was responsive to requests. I would highly recommend a stay here.

Great value for money and would highly recommend

This is a great villa in a great location, about 3km from the centre of Carvoeiro. If you like walking it's only about 30 min walk to the town or you could get a €5 Uber. There are a few restaurants and a small supermarket very nearby. The villa ... wow ... we couldn't fault it. We felt right at home. It was furnished lovely, had everything you needed and was spotlessly clean. Our recommendation is no need to have pool heated if temps have been 25+. We didn't bother and it was cooler at the start, but like a bath at the end of the 2 weeks.

An amazing stay at this Airbnb, especially for families with young kids. You can see sunrise and sunset from the location, the pool is amazing with toys, and there are swings and slides on the sprawling property. The outdoor grounds were peaceful to walk around, with orange and lemon trees. The indoor space was clean and well-decorated and with toys for the kids to play with. The kitchen was beautiful and well stocked for us to prepare meals. We really liked that there was a washer and dryer so we could fully dry our clothes, especially before flying out. Bathrooms were clean and well stocked. The parking lot was spacious enough for 2 cars. The minor issues we found was that the location is a bit remote so you need to drive around to get anywhere, and there's actually 3 rooms in the main unit, not 4. The 4th room + bathroom is located an separate but attached building that accesses the main building via a courtyard and is an extra fee. That threw us off, but it was fine at the end.

Super cozy, clean, and well kept apartment! Great proximity to beaches and sites. They do a great job communicating and making sure you have everything you need. Parking can be tough to find at night as it is a busy apartment complex, but not the host’s fault at all and we still had a great stay!

Nice apartment with a view of the amazing beach: Praia da Rocha. The kitchen is especially great - it has all the equipment you’d typically have at home (and probably even more). Perfect for a romantic dinner at home or for enjoying food deliveries if you don’t feel like eating out for a day. The parking space is also very nice and spacious, ideal for your (rental) car. The host, Estelle, was super friendly and responded quickly to any questions or requests. A sufficient number of towels were provided for a relaxing day at the beach. As I read in other reviews, some noise from outside can be heard in the apartment - this is true, but it only happens on Saturday nights (which is the usual party night in Portugal). The rest of the week was quiet in my experience. This is something to keep in mind if you’re planning to leave early on a Sunday morning. Navigating to the apartment is easiest by entering the name of the restaurant next to it: Vinhos & Comidas, Portimão

We had a wonderful stay in this apartment , clean, and beautyfully maintained apartment. It’s locaties in a lovely neighborhood, just a short walk from shops and restaurants. The beach is only a minute away -such a perfect spot! Highly recommend. Tip: there’s a great breakfast place just around the corner -we ate there every morning!

Beautiful place, would reccommend!

We have just got back from 10 wonderful days staying in Franz-Josef's apartment. All communication was with Lilia who was very responsive and gave recommendations and very clear instructions on how to get in, etc. The apartment itself is very nice and immaculately clean. It is a big apartment with a big lounge diner and separate kitchen and a large bedroom with a really comfy bed which has an en-suite. There is also another bathroom with a large walk in shower which we tended to use as it was bigger. it was just the 2 of us but I am sure if there were four people there would be plenty of room. The flat is in a nice neighbourhood and is walkable to the marina and the promenade and the strip with various restaurants, snack bars, ice cream shops, gift shops, supermarkets all within a couple of minutes walk. We hired a car so the garage parking space was great for us. We didn't use the pool as we are beach people so can't comment on that. Would defo recommend this apartment. Thanks Lilia.

Its a nice spacious appartment, good kitchen and balcony, everything is there that you need. Hosts are friendly and quick with their responses. Opted to stay longer since it was so comfortable.

Carole and Owen were wonderful and responsive hosts. They gave us lots of fantastic restaurants and beach recommendations. We can’t wait to come back!

I completely endorse the comments that other guests have made. Ingmar’s apartment is a complete home with everything anyone would need for a relaxing stay & offers value & quality. The location is excellent, a hire car is not really necessary as there are bus stops just metres away for trips to the east & west Algarve. For those who like walking the location is perfect for ambles along the coastline & to beautiful beaches. Alvor with its varied restaurants, fantastic beaches & long boardwalk is a must visit. The 3 brothers beach & its restaurants, Sol & Sombre & Canico offer excellent food & a lovely place to swim & sunbath especially if you have children. A day spent there followed by a walk back to Ingmar’s apartment makes for an enjoyable day & a great nights sleep in a very comfortable bed. For those who like a lively nightlife head to Roche. Ingmar is a up there with the best super hosts.

Beautiful apartment, super comfortable with lots of extra homely touches and amenities. The food and drink welcome pack was most appreciated. Casa Surf Love is situated in an ideal location for both walking in to the centre of Alvor and going to the beach. My fiance and I thoroughly enjoyed our 4 night stay in Sofia's apartment. The apartment was clean, bright and welcoming, with a balcony, a fully equipped kitchen and a great open plan layout. The location was perfect, just 5 mins walk from the beach and within a few minutes drive of multiple supermarkets and the local mall. Sofia's communication was warm and friendly from the outset, and she was always responsive to any queries I had. She provided helpful tips for the local area on arrival, and messaged during our stay to make sure we didn't need anything. Overall, we had a great time in Sofia's apartment and wouldn't hesitate to return in future. Thank you Sofia!

It was a charming place to stay. It was big for two people and we felt right at home. Communication was easy. All in all, we were very please.

The apartment was very beautiful, and the view was just absolutely breathtaking.

We had a great stay as a family for over a week. The apartment is lovely & bright, very clean & well equipped, with good aircon and a balcony overlooking the pool. The complex itself is modern, safe and has a really good sized pool area. Location was brilliant, a short walk to the supermarket, beach / boardwalk and town centre - everything you'd need!
