We LOVED our stay. The home is super stylish AND comfortable. Plus, it’s very private. We felt like we had our own home in the vineyards, away from *everything* (although you can still drive to Saint Emillion in 30 minutes or Bordeaux in around an hour). Karine also supplied everything you would need or want, including a speaker so you can hang out in the garden/hot tub and listen to music, which we did most of the time 😅 Overall I can’t recommend it enough. We actually hope to come back and stay because we enjoyed our week there so much!

We had a great time at Alexandra's, who was very welcoming and available to us. We particularly enjoyed the small touches in the accommodation (towels, cotton buds, coffee, tea, etc.) and were able to fully enjoy the place (special mention to the jacuzzi!) I will definitely recommend this place in the future!

Truly exceptional. A beautiful house with every possible amenity provided - private pool, hot tub, steam room and sauna. Fantastically comfortable bed, and luxurious bathroom. All gadgets of the highest quality. Effective air con throughout. If you’re in the area and are after privacy and luxury - this is the place!

We had a nice stay at the Bergerie, everything is as shown in the photos. The bedding is great, the jaccuzzi too! The capricious weather did not allow us to fully enjoy the terraces yet very pleasant. Perfect for being quiet, nevertheless need to take the car to enjoy the surrounding sites. Very nice renovation!

We had a fantastic family vacation and enjoyed the absolutely beautiful home, views and great amenities. The children especially enjoyed the swimming pool while the adults enjoyed the hot tub and beautiful views. We had everything we needed and the house was spacious and perfectly clean and comfortable. Highly recommend!!

Impeccable house, a real peaceful corner, with a very nice garden, jacuzzi pool and all outdoor amenities. We met as a family and organized my daughter's baptism and the meal on the beautiful terrace, everyone was delighted with the environment and the house. Impeccable cleanliness, responsive host, we were even able to check in a little early, the hosts were very accommodating. I recommend it for great family or friends reunions! Only one small downside, it lacked some basic items, such as coffee, sugar, for example. We had to go buy coffee and sugar in a hurry in the evening for our breakfast the next day.

We had a very pleasant stay at this beautiful house on the banks of the Dordogne. The location is ideal, the environment quiet and peaceful, in close proximity to Saint Emilion, Libourne, and many castles and vineyards. The house is superb, very comfortable, perfectly equipped, and faithful to the listing in every way. Pimprenelle and her family took great care of us, and gave us great tips for visits or good restaurants that we enjoyed. We recommend 100%!

Suzon was the most amazing friendly host. She welcomed us into her home and made our stay very enjoyable. The gite was perfect for us, equipped kitchen, comfortable and outdoor cooking facilities. Lovely pool area. Nice and quiet. Beautiful walks. We were invited to a wine tasting evening and Suzon was a fantastic host and cooked the most beautiful ‘French tapas’! Great stay, thank you.

A house with heart and soul We have only been home for a few days and already miss the Jacotka, Gérard and the cozy cottage. Thanks to the warm welcome, we immediately felt at home. The gite is lovingly decorated, lots of wood, stylish lamps, beautiful cabinet that Jaqueline painted herself, comfortable beds and great, embroidered bed linen. Large, covered terrace overlooking the greenery, just perfect. The hosts are very warm people, we were even lucky to have an aperitif, we will never forget the friendly evening. Nearby are two very good restaurants La Douzième Heure and Le Cilaos. The surrounding area is very rural, the villages very beautiful. A real paradise for lovers of castles. The delicious jams from Jacotka (own production) sweetened our great vacation. We recommend the place 100 percent. Thank you dear friends and see you sometime ❤️ Your Janusz and Aldona

We stayed for 18 days. Marie the owner is very pleasant and accomidating and was there when we needed her but left us to enjoy our stay. The Gite is lovely. Bedrooms comfortable and radiators keep the place warm as we stayed in January. It is only 10 minutes drive to Eymet and we'll worth a visit and 30 minutes easy drive to Bergerac. We would highly recommend this site.

Warm welcome and great availability, we immediately felt very comfortable with Sébastien. We were able to share a moment of tasting his wines, which we liked: we leave with a case ^^ The house is lovely, ideal for a couple. The view from the terrace is very nice, we spent peaceful days there.

Exterior of the idyllic accommodation for families/friends! With small children, the terrace and access to the pool is perfect. The garden as far as the eye can see is ideal with animals. The atmosphere of the accommodation is really nice and neat! Big surprise: a pond at the end of the garden. Incredible. Only downsides: the heat in the upstairs bedroom (very hot weekend = 35 degrees), the slightly outdated gas stove that made us review our weekend menu and especially the additional cleaning fee in addition to the rental… written in the listing but normally always included when booking on the site. An unexpected extra budget. Mea culpa, I'll look better next time. Marie Claire and her husband were very welcoming from the arrival to our departure. Enjoy your stay overall. Maybe we'll be back!

Trudi and Robin welcomed us like family! They are attentive, available and extremely caring. The accommodation is convenient and relaxing, the setting and the pool… just amazing! We recommend it 1000%.

We wanted a peaceful and undisturbed break from our busy working lives, just the two of us (for the first time in several years), we wanted a pool and a small property that would probably enjoy some warm weather at the end of May. Lavender Cottage and Janie (who was based less than 100m away) delivered all of our requirements and more - the property was perfect for our needs, it was gloriously quiet, the pool was warm enough to enjoy, and any queries we had Janie was only too happy to respond to. My wife's birthday fell on a French Bank Holiday and some venues were not open so Janie stepped in and kindly sorted out a reservation with a local Restaurant which was very kind of her - and was a great venue for a meal. The markets we went to locally were excellent and our visit to the Naked Vigneron to see the vines and taste them and have lunch hosted by the Yorkshire born Moores was great activity to consider - All in all just, what the doctor would have ordered (if asked)

Véronique's accommodation is functional, clean and peaceful. The garden without a view is really appreciated. Véronique's kindness and responsiveness are real pluses.

We were reunited as a family for an unfortunately very rainy Easter weekend. But the place is spacious, the rooms are large and everything went well. Very satisfied with the cottage that we already knew, under a beautiful sun and we were able to enjoy the beautiful garden, well-equipped.

We had a wonderful week with our 2 children. There is little to do at first sight, but an hour away you have a lot of different activities. Really everything was available in the house with very nice pool and swimming toys! Karine made us feel like home and gave us all the privacy. Definitely recommended.

Had a great week. Victory to a house so relaxing in an idyllic setting! rest assured and lots of fun in the pool. You just have to provide the river shoes because the terrace has a lot of nails coming out.. but none of us 7 we injured each other during our stays. I will come back without hesitation to come back to this house if the opportunity arose. Thank you again!
