Lake house vacation rentals in Portage Lakes

We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful lakefront home. Nicely situated for great views of East Reservoir. It has multiple deck levels for entertaining/relaxing. Clean and well-appointed. Easy access to the entire Akron area without being in the city. We had a nice daytrip into Amish country as well. Highly recommended.

Heather was very quick to respond. She left a binder full of good information if you’re unfamiliar with the area. The kids loved the board games as well.

We enjoyed our stay. It fit well for our group of friends.We enjoyed eating outside in the private back yard.

Wonderful stay ! We enjoyed our visit to Akron/ house was exactly what we needed! Close to Firestone CC , Grocery stores etc.. House was well described, remodeled, comfortable and extremely clean . Cooked most nights , kitchen was well maintained. Definitely return next year!

Eileen was very understanding to our situation- we had a lot of family gathering from multiple states for a celebration of life. We needed a quiet place to gather and this location was perfect. The fire pit was really appreciated during the cool evenings and the S’mores kit was a pleasant surprise! Plenty of towels and hot water, very clean , beds were comfortable. Kitchen was well equipped and the gas grill was ready to go with a propane tank handy. Plenty of games, movies, books and outdoor fun available. The character of the farm house and property made us feel very welcomed- like coming home. Thanks again Eileen for your kindness and sharing this awesome property with us.

My husband and I couldn’t have picked a better place to celebrate our anniversary weekend! The hose was clean and comfortable. It had everything we needed. The location with lake view was amazing! Loved the porch and spent a lot of time there. Loved the neighborhood. Everyone was so friendly. The weather was beautiful so we really enjoyed being able to be outside at the lake, take walks together, enjoy sunsets and mornings and evenings on the porch. I would definitely go there again!

Andrew was great in accommodating us. We had an issue somewhere else and he worked quickly to allow us to check in that same day. It is right on the lake which was beautiful scenery.

The home was clean, comfortable, and in an amazing location. The space was exactly what we needed during an emergency trip to the area.

We had a restful stay. We enjoyed our morning coffee on the deck looking out at the scenery. Our dog enjoyed the large yard and the walking path. We would stay again

This was the perfect home base while we were visiting family at Lake Milton. The house was comfortable and extremely private. It has everything that you need to feel at home. The rooms were comfortable and the bathroom was good-sized for the 4 of us. It was clean and stocked with all your necessities. We will definitely be booking next time we are in town. It beats staying at the neighboring hotels.

We traveled from Florida to Ohio to visit family and friends, and stayed in this great place in Portage Lakes. It was close to everything we needed, and at the same time felt very private because of the lush surroundings.

Wow! A pleasure to spend a week at this amazing place. Just what we wanted as we visited family. The charm of the totally renovate old home. The majestic old trees. The beautiful lake, birds, and five orphaned fox pups being cared for by Doug made “our place” a favorite of the grandkids to visit. What more could we ask for. We’ll be often.

We had a wonderful stay! Easy access to everything I needed to do while there, I just wanted to address some other comments I’d read, for future renters. Yes, the yard wasn’t pristine but I was there to visit family not sit on the lawn lol and the hot tub was great!! The neighborhood was so quiet, walkable and safe down to the lake and park which I loved. The beds did have the plastic liners on them but they were quiet, I had no issues with them, beds were super clean. Beds were also comfy with lots of pillows! Big living room lots of comfy seating and a full kitchen, we ran to the grocery store and were able to make meals easily. Coffee pods, creamer and sugar packets were available (the key essentials in my books!) Lots of closet space and hangers in the rooms. AC throughout worked awesome and the driveway can easily handle 2 big trucks/suvs. I will stay here again when I come back and forth! Host was very responsive and easy to work with. Thanks!

My son and his family live in Youngstown, 35-40 min drive. My wife has already said that we are going to plan our visits around the availability of the farm. we had a blast, we spent our final day at the pond fishing, and the fish were biting. Paddle boating, playing yard games. looking at the cows and playing with the cats. Jennifer, thank you for your hospitality, especially stopping over to show the grandchildren the 2 week old kittens. my wife really enjoyed conversing with you and learning a little bit about your family and the farm. I have never stayed in an Airbnb that was so thoughtfully crafted from floor to ceiling! You can tell that thought and care went into every square inch of the space. It was so easy to feel at home and relax in this space. Highly recommend if you are planning to spend time in Cuyahoga National Park or go to a concert at Blossom Music Center.

Lovely home in a great part of Berea. Leisa is an Excellent host and great communicator and the house was as described. Would definitely stay here again.

The house was great. Everything was very clean and comfortable. We really enjoyed our time outdoors, we were all comfortable to relax in the evening, and to rest at night. We would definitely look up this location again in the future!

We have family in Ohio, so we stayed over Thanksgiving break. We had a wonderful time at Judy's Farmhouse with our two toddler boys. The boys got to run around in the snow and make snowballs, and they even visited Judy's chickens and ducks a few times. The house was cozy and beautifully remodeled. It was one of the cleanest Airbnb's we've ever stayed at and pretty close to downtown Medina. We would definitely stay here again.

Charming little place with everything we needed for our trip with me and three girlfriends. Would recommend. John was very proactive and responsive with communication.

I had a great night away for a personal retreat at the cottage. It was just what I needed! Everything was clean and fresh, and it had more amenities than I anticipated. The hosts were very nice and helpful. Thanks for a great stay!

Nice Lake house, close to the lake, the lake was beautiful.

Jesse’s place worked out well for our 12 Guy golf trip. The cabin has a nice layout and was clean. We cooked breakfast each morning and did steak on the grill one night and the kitchen and grilled worked out with no problems. The only negative comment I heard from a few of the guys was a lack of TV’s.
