We have restored the cottage in a vintage, quirky style with Donegal & Harris tweed soft furnishings & floral accents to reflect the glorious garden outside! Set within 5 acres of it's own land and situated in the beautiful countryside of Wigtownshire, South West Scotland. We started this listing in 2013 but only put the bare essentials in. Only today, April 4 2018 have we actually finished it. This is why we have had no guests or reviews from Airbnb so far! You can find 5-star reviews for us on Trip Advisor.

Beautiful 2 bedroom cottage with stunning bay view

A two bedroom, two hundred year old cottage, Tide View is situated centrally in Scotland's book town, Wigtown. With stunning views over the bay and Galloway hills, you can relax with the whole family or friends. This beautiful area of Galloway has wonderful beaches, scenic hills and forests. A well behaved dog is welcome, the house is fully fenced (1.3m high at lowest point) and there are dog walking areas at the doorstep and a children's play park 50m away.

Back Lodge. Alticry Farm

Well appointed cottage with spectacular setting and very private. Panoramic views over Luce Bay. Mull of Galloway lighthouse is the view from your double bed. Please note electric cars can be charged at Wigtown or Whithorn. Fast charges 50kw and 25p/kilowatt. Cottage wiring and fuses not suitable. The low power adds 4miles per charge and puts a great strain on the wiring/fuses. Like leaving a 8 bar heater on therefore not available at the cottage.
