We very much enjoyed our stay at Julie’s place. She is a great host and very easy to communicate with. The location was also fantastic! There are so many amazing beaches and walks within close proximity.

Wonderful accommodation in the most beautiful location.

Great spot for a stopover, we stayed one night travelling from QLD to NSW. Easy to find, pet friendly, and close to beach, ocean walking track, restaurants and cafes. Very comfy bed, would stay again.

We really loved the place, and the host greeted at the arrival, the river was calm and very pleasant, mainly the bonfire next to it was awesome. Best part was we were able charge our EV. Will go again next time but take the Port Macquarie road instead of the gravel road ;)

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hightide. We were welcomed by Suzanne and Nils, kept in touch during our stay, and wished us a safe trip on our departure. This apartment would have to be the most spotless we have ever stayed at. It is spacious, in a fabulous spot with an outlook from the back verandah over a beautiful bush garden with endless species of birds visiting. A lovely spot to have breakfast, lunch and/or dinner. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Hightide being just minutes from the beach, walks and fishing spots. We would highly recommend Suzannes place.

What a beautiful sanctuary! My family and I (2 adults, 2 older children, 1 dog) stayed here in January 2025. The place was clean, relaxing, and felt private. The pool and hot tub were such a highlight, and the kids loved the ability to enjoy them both. It was a beautiful location, especially on bright, breeze days. Jacquelyn was lovely and helpful, and we would not hesitate to stay here again.

Jennifer’s attention to detail in decorations, room layout and resources provided was impeccable. The space available to you is beautiful and well kept, very suitable for relaxation or romantic getaway. I stayed here for the Port Macquarie Ironman Australia and found it was suitable for this use, with access to the beach, running paths and main roads only a couple hundred metres away. The host was very responsive and helpful and allowed for flexibility in check in and check out, as well as local knowledge to help around the area.

Absolutely loved staying here! Stayed for a few days while I was on uni prac and would definitely stay again to visit Port Macquarie. Dylan and Jen were great, really welcoming and friendly and the studio was 10/10. Super comfortable and fresh, with everything you need and beautifully decorated too. The porch with the big gum trees in the yard was as about as serene as it gets for a sunset wine! Great location too, 5 min drive to both downtown and lighthouse beach at the other end of Port ✌️

Leonie was at the premises when we arrived. Very welcoming and showed us around to the apartment. The welcome cookie's, Lindt chocolates and extra things in the fridge were greatly appreciated. Woken in the morning by the local wildlife birds singing in the palm trees and rainforest like gardens. Extremely relaxing and quiet location. Great for reading books or watching netflix on the TV. Comfortable bed, and extremely tidy property with all you will need to cook whatever you want. Short 8 min drive to town centre and walks along the river walkways and around the headlands. Leonie was extremely accommodating for us with our previous trip needing to be cancelled because of the cyclone Alfred. Highly recommend Loenie and Jim's house. We will be definitely be staying again when we return to Port Macquarie over the next few months.

beautiful small cosy place for a weekend getaway- close to the beaches and some good restaurants. Fran is a great host and provided clear instructions and was very helpful all the way.

Scott's place was perfect for us. Across the street from the beach and café. Off street parking, good privacy and peeks of the ocean. The accommodation is roomy, comfortable and modern beach decor. Some guests have commented on the small bathroom, however we found it fine for a beach stay. Others mentioned it being out of town, but we actually love it, away from the hustle and bustle of downtown. Plus it's a short 10 min drive to the hub of downtown Pt Macquarie. If you enjoy the beach, surfing, flying kites or scenic drives and walks , Scott's place is a great spot. Thanks so much for a lovely visit, we'll be back.

Excellent accommodation, exactly as described (& then some). Michelle was the perfect host, even going so far as to turning the A/C on to warm the place up when she heard us pull up out the front on a very cold night. A nice surprise was the supply of basic breakfast essentials as well as the welcome cakes and Pinot Noir (the girls loved these). It was too cold to make use of the pool but is did look inviting, nonetheless. A very well setup unit in a really nice part of the world. Thanks Michelle, we'll be back for sure.

Tami was super responsive and friendly in her communication in lead up to our stay. The studio was easy to access and perfect for our quick overnight in Lake Cathie. A very cute and cosy space. Gorgeous, spacious bathroom, big comfy bed. Compact but functional kitchen and living area. For our short stay we didn't need anything more. Thanks Tami!

from the moment we arrived Thana was very welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. She could not do enough for us, she was so friendly. I was so surprised to see how well stocked the kitchen was and what was provided for us. The place is very clean, with lovely canal views that came with an amazing cool breeze. there is a bistro/pub just within walking distance but my favourite was being aoto order from Thai Tastic, we indulged on this a bit. I would definitely recommend this stay for others.

We stayed at Johanna lovely AirBnB over the Easter break. Her place was tastefully decorated and smack near the national park. A short drive to the lighthouse, the koala hospital and other sights- location couldnt be any more perfect! Johanna was very warm, welcoming and made us feel right at home.

It was a gem to have found Gail's place; the apartment was clean and cozy, and I loved the outdoor space. She was friendly, thoughtful, and had good local recommendations. The lighthouse is within walking distance from the apartment, and there is also a coastal walk. It was nice to meet you and for the helpful tips to visit the lookout. See you guys again the next time!

Absolutely loved our stay at this charming Airbnb. The interiors are cosy and full of atmosphere, the bed was incredibly comfortable, and the kitchen is well-equipped, making it easy to cook and enjoy relaxed meals. We also loved the semi-rural setting — peaceful and private, with views of rolling hills and a sunny little spot just made for an afternoon glass of wine. And the hosts and their sweet pups are incredibly welcoming, making us and our pooch feel right at home. We feel so lucky to have stumbled across this gem and are already looking forward to returning. Highly recommended for a restorative escape.

Sandra’s place was amazing. Honestly when I walked in I was in awe of the view and the space. Not only is the place functional but the decor and the way it’s designed is beautiful and so aesthetic. They have lots of stuff in the pantry like spices, pots, pans, sandwhich bags. It was so convenient. I loved staying here they have excellent attention to detail and great communication. Would definitely stay here again. Thanks guys!

Fi’s place was great. Close to a rocky shore - bit hard to get to the sandy part of the beach from her place though. Fi is an excellent host and even brought in my washing and ran it through the drier when she saw it was about to rain! The place has all you need but some spaces are shared with other guests, the host and a delightful dog!

My family and i had an amazing stay at this airbnb. The space was beautifully decorated, clean and had all the amenities we needed. The hosts are incredibly welcoming and responsive. Each morning we were treated with breakfast and snacks provided. The hosts went above and beyond, offering a variety of options to cater for different tastes. The location was perfect, close to restaurants and attractions. The bed was like sleeping on clouds, the pillows were soft and fluffy. The sheets were incredibly soft made for a cozy nights sleep. The hosts have prioritised comfort and cleanliness. This has been a very well thought home in providing all the little extras to allow guests to have a comfortable and relaxing stay. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. We cant wait to return!!

Arleen and Askin were great hosts who were understandable for all our situations and needs. They were flexible in all respects and were willing to bend over backwards to ensure the pleasantness of our stay - our happiness was theirs, so too our comfort. Everything has been meticulously thought of and planned for with furnishings, complimentary items and even going as far as to offer another hair dryer to dry our wet shoes with. Our time at Butterfly Bliss, was indeed - blissful. At not even 10 minutes drive from town center it is convenient as it is private and functional. We thank Arleen and Askin for the efforts they undertake to ensure their guests are well catered for. Would recommend to anyone wanting to stay in the area, whether ingrained or simply as a base as we did. Thanks again!
