Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Port Hardy

This BnB was a wonderful escape and peaceful place to stay while visiting our kids and Grandkids in Alert Bay. We loved the location, view, decor, and how comfortable the furniture was. We had a fabulous time and felt right at home. My husband and I said to each other several times during our 4 day stay, “I love this house!” The attention to detail and passion for the decor was a lovely surprise. It felt like an honour to be able to stay in this space. And, we saw Orcas and an impressive regatta go right by in front of the house! ❤️

Excited for our next trip definitely the place to stay for our work and personal travels.

We had both suites for a weekend and the place had everything we needed for 8 adults. Clean, comfy, and the booking information had everything we needed. I would highly recommend it. The upper floor was luxurious, and the lower suite was crisp and clean. Thank you Lynette! As a rare user this was an absolute treat and Lynette was very patient with any ignorance on my end.

We enjoyed our stay at Lori and Matt's. The unit was spacious, very quiet, comfortable, clean and well organized. The carpentry and electrical work was 100% quality. The view of Port McNeill from their property is fabulous. And the sunsets which lasted until nearly 11:30 pm were amazing. Lots of scenic sights to explore surrounding Port McNeill. It was a very relaxing holiday, and one day we will return.

Our family felt at home in this "home away from home"! Angela is an extremely responsive and friendly host and I would definitely recommend her home if you are visiting the area.

My family and I were so grateful to have the use of Lynette’s house. There were 7 adults and a 16 month old. My grandnephew loved all of the space that he had inside and outside. Everything we needed was readily available for our use. I would book this house again in the future. Thank you Lynette and Erin for such a quick response with any questions we had.

Wonderful location, with spacious accommodations for the 4 of us. We had everything we needed for an enjoyable and relaxing stay. Kitchen was fully stocked, very comfortable beds, and cozy living room area. Highly recommend Dockside for those visiting Sointula.

Stayed here on a work trip. It was close to town, clean, cozy & felt like home. The hosts were great. Clear instructions & responded to msgs fairly quickly. I recommend this spot & will stay here again if I’m ever up this way in the future!

A super cute, clean , and well appointed cabin… looked brand new! Very quiet with an amazing nature nearby! We wld definitely choose to stay here again.

Can't say enough about this home, beautiful in every way, inside and out, could stay for an extended time in future, everything you need and more. Excellent view, watched bald eagles right outside deck, had a nest in tree nearby, water is like glass, very reflective, in the right light creates a mirror image of the surrou ding mountain and landscape. Love the individually controlled heat in each room, the clawfoot tub, washer and dryer, coffee selection, and the extra towels. Thanks again for a wonderful stay!! Susan

This home is a gem! Lovely view of the ocean and mountains! So many windows and abundant daylight. Spacious suite with beautiful, high ceiling had a cozy lodge feeling. Wonderfully clean! Lori and Matt were excellent communicators and clearly proud home owners. We loved our stay and soon booking again for our next trip to the North Island!

It's always great to stay at a property where the host obviously cares about the comfort of the guest. I can't think of one item that we needed but couldn't find. It was perfect for cooking meals, had a big yard for playing, and was super close to the beach. The beds and furniture were cozy for the rainy days and Barb and Erin went out of their way to put smiles on my daughters faces. We will definitely be back.

It’s a beautiful little place close to the harbour. It’s well equipped had everything we needed.. I would definitely stay again

We loved the cozy cabin beautiful view and privat. It was very clean and had everything you need. We also loved the ducks that came by the cottage every evening. Thank you Hannah for being and amazing host.

Incredible how so many facilities were packed into one room. The place is immaculate and actually looked like it had just been decorated. Someone here clearly has the eye for interior design. Shower was really powerful and easy to control. The kitchen had everything that you need and it’s always nice to see coffee salt and pepper etc already supplied. Small touches light a flashlight (should you need it) demonstrates how much thought has gone into the place. Location is literally yards from the beach in a really nice neighbourhood where people clearly take pride in their surroundings. Felt really safe and secure. Could not fault and would 100% recommend.
