Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Port Clinton

Our family went for Memorial Day weekend to the Port Clinton area. We brought our boat which was so easy to park in the home's driveway. Unfortunately, the weather was not as warm as we would have liked. However, we were pleasantly surprised to learn that the Walleye Festival was going on. We enjoyed the festival and the parade which was all so close to this home. I am usually hesitant to book older homes but as other guests have described, this home was so clean with such comfortable, newer beds and linens. My boys were excited to have the upstairs bedrooms to themselves. And they loved the LED lights in each of the bedrooms. The kitchen was so well organized and had so many utensils/cooking gear to choose from that were like new as well.

The stay is great and everything looks brand new. Backyard was very nice to have to a trip!

This little cabin is FABULOUS! I love staying in places that feel like home and this definitely fit the bill. The kitchen had every dish and pan you could want. Full size frig, some dry goods in the cabinets, lots of extra blankets. We loved the quirkiness and character!

These two are the best! Not only did they block a day off for us to come early to set up for our wedding, they left a bottle of wine and gave us a late check out! Thank you so much for everything, our weekend was perfect and we appreciate all your help along the way.

Joan is an excellent host and her Little Red House is perfectly situated and provisioned as a launch point for the beautiful Lake Erie Shores and Islands. She is close to Rte 2 but is in a rural setting that creates a peaceful vibe. We were there for birding and spent most of our days away from the house but were thankful for the cozy welcoming place to relax in the evening. Bed was comfy, linens were pristine and kitchen worked well for us. Love the horsey decor too! I’m a multi-year visitor to the LRH and will be back again

Let me start by saying we were greeted our first morning with 2 swans who would eat out of my hand and our last morning was greeted by 2 deer who were playing in the surf. Even though our last day was a little stormy, I feel it only made the experience better because of the wave action we got to watch and listen to the night before we left. This place is all as described and more. They had everything we didn't realize we needed to have a great time. I recommend this place to anyone who wants off the beaten track and the ability to enjoy nature at its finest!! We did go to cedar point one day, but i don't consider that the highlight. This place is the highlight, being able to listen to the sounds of crashing waves to go to sleep to... it was almost heaven. Host are very proactive and give lots of suggestions of where to go/ what to do, but honestly my favorite days were the days we didn't leave! Hope to be able to go back as soon as we have more PTO at work 😆.

We loved Renee's home! It was very clean, well decorated, well furnished, well updated, and comfortable. The location was excellent as well. The home comfortably accommodated 6 adults and our 3 dogs. Most of all, Renee was a fabulous host-very friendly, responsive, kind and accommodating. As a retired Military, it was very gracious of her to offer a Military discount, which meant a lot to me.

What a wonderful, gracious host- always immediately responsive and helpful! The place was clean, inviting, quiet, and had everything we needed! Because of exceptionally poor planning on my part, Jennifer thankfully allowed us to check in earlier than the stated time - which made it so less stressful for me! One word suffices for our stay here - Perfect!

Great home and decor. Clean and comfortable. Location wonderful. We were off season so not a lot open, but there was plenty to do. We took the ferrie over to Put-in-Bay and had lunch at the winery along the way on Catawba Island - so nice! PIB was adorable but again off season - we missed by a week. But JJs was good food as well. Worth the stay!

Easy access, up to date appliances and amenities

My family and I loved our stay at Sara's! Everything was conveniently located with less of a 10 minute drive to everything we wanted to do. African wildlife Safari I was about a 20 min drive. Scenery was beautiful, the space was clean and welcoming. We enjoyed the pool very much. We will definitely be back and will be checking out the other properties she has available. Loved it!

Wonderful place to experience the lighthouse festival! Cottage was very well appointed, had everything we needed, cozy, Comfortable sleeping areas. Appreciate being able to bring our pup too! Thank you for opening up your home to us.

We stayed here during the Biggest Week In American Birding Festival, and the location was fantastic relative to Magee Marsh and many other birding spots. The cabin was clean and well maintained.

Cozy & Compact, great for if you want to go to Cedar Point for a whole day. Definitely a place to stay if you are going to be out & about in the area.

We initially had problems with the door code, but Cheryl immediately solved the issue. We didn't ask for a refund but Cheryl went the extra mile and refunded one night's stay. Cheryl gave us a Cafe recommendation and made sure we had a peaceful, enjoyable stay. We had a small issue with our dog breaking a lamp while we were there and Cheryl was very understanding. We agreed upon a price for the lamp and the matter was resolved with no fuss. I would highly recommend Cheryl as a host.

Ryan’s place was very clean and comfortable. Great location for what we were there for. My wife loved the charm of the hardwood floors and wood trim. I will book again if available when we are in the area.

Bert's properties are all they advertise to be and more. We rented the large home and one of the cottages during our family gathering. Everyone had an incredible time and cannot wait to return. We enjoyed bonfires every night, walks on the beach, whiffel ball games in the front lawn. Bert was easily accessible when I had a personal request, which was greatly appreciated. The home is beautifully decorated. The views are to die for!

This was on my bucket list, and it was absolutely wonderful. there is a crossfit gym downstairs, and the people are very warm and friendly.

My family and I really enjoyed our stay at the Firefly Cottage on Kelleys Island! In my experience, this is one of the nicest Airbnb homes I’ve ever rented. The home is very well appointed with many amenities like kitchen basics, games, movies and supplies. Have no doubt, they have remembered anything you might have forgotten at home! This modern constitution home is quiet with a large back yard and open floor plan. Our family of 8 fit comfortably. We would definitely rent the Firefly Cottage again!

The house was perfect for our 2 night stay. We were there for a birding trip and saw so much just from the porch! The house was clean and comfortable. It has a nice private feeling to it but is only a few minutes drive from whatever you may need. Elise and Seth are very responsive and did everything they could to make sure we had a great stay. We will definitely be back!

Outstanding!! Such a fantastic Host and a beautiful home!! We loved the charming “Wizard of Oz” theme throughout the house! The upstairs had the cutest kids space for munchkins. The outdoor area had a wonderful fire pit and beautiful deck. The barn was absolutely a favorite spot with a large table and beautiful fairy lights, perfect for an evening dinner or to just sit and enjoy the evening. We loved Marcy the host! By far she has been our favorite host!! Thank you for a wonderful stay! :)

Had a great long weekend at Michael's place. A planned fishing trip quickly turned into a nice relaxing weekend due to all the to common, unpredictable weather on Lake Erie in early May. Michael was extremely accommodating, understanding and helpful with the unpredictable change in our departure plans. Outstanding service! We will definitely book with him again..
