Vacation rentals with a patio in Poros

We had a lovely stay at Hydra Serene Escape. Firstly, Maria was very friendly and responsive, and she provided very clear instructions about how to get into the property. The apartment was clean and tidy and provided everything we needed. On arrival we were greeted by Maria’s Mum, who was very friendly and gave us lots of water and cat food which was received well. We very much enjoyed staying in Kamini, which was a 15-20 minute walk from Hydra Port along either the gorgeous coastal path or through the beautiful (albeit hilly) streets of the town. Being this side of the town meant we were also only a 30-40 minute walk to Plakes Beach, which we would highly recommend. The highlight of our stay though was the apartment’s beautiful garden. We sat every morning enjoying the picturesque views and peaceful surroundings, listening to the birds while enjoying an iced coffee from the cafe (just at the bottom of the steps) and the company of the friendly local cats. Thanks for making it special!

Sue’s place was a gem. Easy walking distance from the bustling Hydra port and 2 minutes walk to a gorgeous swimming spot, restaurants and cafes. The apartment is exactly as described with a gorgeous outdoors area with views of the mountain and had everything we needed. Sue was very responsive to our messages and offered to help with transport from the harbour. We are fit and strong but if you are not I would take her recommendation for a sea taxi or donkey. Sue has a wealth of knowledge of the island and surrounding areas and has lots to offer in terms of travel planning beyond Hydra. We would definitely come again and understand why we met so many people who return to Hydra every year. As an extra bonus Sue also offered to do our washing for us and we woke to find clean clothes on the line waiting for us.

Παναγιουλα a été très accueillante et réactive l'arrivée dans le logement était simple, son mari nous attendait gentiment à la sortie du bateau la localisation est idéale a proximité des restaurants et du port le petit déjeuner préparé par Παναγιουλα était délicieux Nous avons passé un très bon séjour ! 🔆

This place is MAGICAL! Absolutely perfect for a couple or for 2-3 solo travelers for a long weekend. Nothing is more than a five minute walk, and it is SO close to the port!

Μας εκαναν να νιώσουμε σαν να ήμαστε δικοί τους άνθρωποι, πρόθυμοι να μας εξυπηρετησουν από την πρώτη στιγμή που επικοινωνησαμε μέχρι και την αναχώρηση μας απο το νησί. Η Βένη και ο κύριος Νεκτάριος μας αφησαν τις καλύτερες εντυπώσεις. Σας ευχαριστούμε πολύ και σας ευχόμαστε τα καλύτερα! Εννοείται πως αφήνουμε ανοιχτό το ενδεχόμενο να σας επισκεφθούμε πάλι.

La casa e' molto bella e ben fornita di tutto il necessario, e di più'! Daphni e' stata una padrona di casa impeccabile. Noi eravamo in quattro ( inclusi 2 ragazzi di 13 e 14 anni) e siamo stati benissimo! Abbiamo avuto l'aiuto per raggiungere la proprietà' senza trasportare a mano i bagagli ma ci vuole qualche giorno per abituarsi alle scale che separano la proprietà' dal paese...! Mah il panorama e' stupendo ed alla fine ne vale la pena!!

We spent three nights at Leandros’ second floor apartment in a pretty two-story structure. We sought a place away from the hustle and bustle of Poros’ main port and “Casa Katerina” delivered. The unit was as described, clean, peaceful, and surrounded by trees. Out on the deck and under the blooming Bougainvillea, we could enjoy the beautiful view of the port and the town of Galati on the mainland—first thing in the morning with coffee or in the evening with a glass of wine. The port and beaches were within walking distance as was a fabulous family-owned restaurant, the White Cat (est. 1908), which became our nightly dinner haunt next to the sea. Leandros was a very responsive host and Casa Katerina a great find!

This was the perfect home away from home retreat: the house itself was tastefully decorated, clean, and comfortable, with everything we needed to prepare and enjoy peaceful meals together in the various communal spaces. It was conveniently located by a well-stocked supermarket, as well as within 10-15 minutes’ walking distance to the restaurants and beaches of Hydra. Our host sent us lots of recommendations and was friendly and responsive throughout our trip. We would be delighted to stay here again!

Niki's place was a simple yet very comfortable little home. Very welcoming on arrival. Good bed and bedding, extremely nice shower, and a washing machine turned out useful too. It was exactly what we needed. The kitchen had just about what we needed for cooking a meal, but do bring own oil etc. They did supply provisions for making coffee and tea. The area is extremely peaceful and lovely and quiet in the night.

My family loved staying at Joy House. It is spacious and comfortable with lovely outdoor spaces. Konstantinos was communicative and helpful. Would gladly return!

Really charming house in a great location. Very well equipped and clean. the host was very responsive and helpful, left some wine, allowed a late check out. Minutes from the port but quiet.

We had a wonderful time at this very beautiful place. Could not be closer to the sea. We got al lot of great and helpful recommendations. We can highly recommend this place!

We had a fantastic stay! Ilias and Argyro were warm, welcoming and very helpful. Hydra itself is beyond charming! Up on a hill and a little removed from the congestion of the town, the house is quiet and comfortable. It’s an historic home that has been renovated, and the quality of the construction is very impressive - as is all the artwork! Our one challenge was the WiFi was not working in the unit, which was a problem as we are remote workers. Ilias graciously walled off a large section of the house upstairs for our use immediately adjacent to a second network router, but even there network speeds weren’t great - 10 to 15mps (a small fraction of what we are accustomed to). So as much as we enjoyed the home, the town and our hosts, we would be a little reluctant to offer a full throated endorsement for digital nomads. Vacationers should definitely come! Remote employees? Maybe…

Absolutely loved this unit!! The hosts were amazing and kind. Would love to stay here again! If you’re not into the busy hustle and bustle of the main Athens area this is the perfect place! Lots of restaurants and shopping within walking distance. The harbor is so close and you can see it from the back patio which was really nice. Beautiful home, peaceful, and kitchen stocked well if you wanted to make meals. Definitely a gem! 10/10 recommend!

We have communicated with Konstantina the cohost. She was responding immediately to all our questions before arrival. The place was very clean and well organised. The street is very quiet, no noise and during the night we slept very comfortably. We recommend the place with absolutely no hesitation.

I have stayed in Alicia’s properties in Glyfada and they are always nicely presented and modern. Easy access into the centre and easy parking outside the property.

An immaculate apartment, opposite the beach. Fabulous location, near city centre for shops and restaurants. Dora deserves to be recognised for her hosting-friendly, professional, and best of all we arrived at the apartment and were greeted with wine, fruit bread and condiments. Dora was always on hand to answer questions, and provide local information. Thoroughly recommended, and a great stay.

The place was spotless, his instructions for check in and check out were very user friendly and detailed, and the location is a quick walk from the beach & other beach clubs, food markets, & parks. This stay was amazing!
