Monthly Rentals in Pontiac Lake

Beautiful location, clean and inviting…… however sitting outside with my family at the fire pit and we were approached by a neighbor. The lady come up to the fence and asked us if we were staying in that home because our house burned down.!!! We are a family of 4 African Americans sitting around a fire remembering our recently passed family member. We simply answered no. She continued to ask, her next question was if we must be from Detroit! It is not this home’s fault, the neighbors acted that way, but if remaining calm in an unfortunate situation is difficult…. This one may be hard to stay in. I am an Active Duty Navy Lieutenant, my father passed away and we just wanted a peaceful place to remember him. That one was tough.

Our stay was wonderful! The property is a little slice of heaven—quiet, relaxing, and perfect for our family. The boat rental was a great bonus, and my teenagers had a blast out on the water. Gabe and Haley were responsive and easy to communicate with—great customer service from start to finish. We plan to return this summer! Highly recommend, and we definitely plan to return!

Love our stay here at this beautiful location. Super cozy and plenty to do to keep you entertained. The kitchen is amazing!! Overall an amazing experience. Will definitely look to stay here again in the future.

House has a nice layout. Kitchen layout good (sometimes 4 of us were working on there) Good selection of tea. Bedding and storage great. Bathroom was serviceable with storage and cool towel warmer. Dishes for four people but lots (12?) of mugs and glasses. Nice, friendly neighbors (on both sides) have dogs which our dogs found entertaining :) our dogs also enjoyed the back yard (nice grass and squirrels), walks in the neighborhood as well as visits to dog park nearby. We were charmed by the swans and their offspring up the street. Beautiful at sunrise and sunset. View across lake included a few houses but mostly wooded park. Peaceful. Would stay there again. Very convenient access to Kroger, Alex gourmet market, Home Depot, Stella’s (excellent restaurant) and charming Clarkston. I suggest bringing some throw blankets for the leather furniture.
