Vacation rentals in Ponte de Sor

Leonor is a wonderful caring and warm person. She took great care of us during our stay by being available to our questions about the area, welcoming us warmly in her place with some tea and local specialties, bringing us fresh bread in the morning, eggs from her hens, lettuce from her garden, fair well plater as we left… the place is everything described on the add and it was very welcoming to arrive to a warm fire place as the weather was very rainy and cold. Such a wonderful stay!!! Thank you so much and I highly recommend Leonor’s place if you come in this beautiful region!

We stayed at Casa Rosaria for a week and really enjoyed it. We used it as a base to explore the region and many places of interest were 30-40 minutes away in various different directions. The renovation was beautifully done and the space looks like it's straight out of the pages of a design magazine. The kitchen and pantry were well stocked with everything we needed. Sarah and Steve were friendly and knowledgeable hosts and we highly recommend Casa Rosaria at Chumbaria.

Wat een magische plek! We zijn op slag verliefd geworden op deze bijzondere Airbnb in Monte Corvo. De gastvrouw, Edite, hebben we in ons hart gesloten – zo warm, oprecht en zorgzaam. Ze zorgt niet alleen voor een prachtig verblijf, maar ook voor een sfeer van rust en gastvrijheid die je zelden tegenkomt. De locatie is heerlijk afgelegen in een rustige omgeving, omringd door natuur. De ruimte is intiem en smaakvol ingericht, met een fantastisch comfortabel bed. Het zwembad is prachtig en perfect om helemaal tot rust te komen. En elke avond kwam de kat even gezellig langs – een klein ritueeltje waar we van zijn gaan Buiten is er een mooie BBQ-keuken, er zijn verse eieren en groenten uit de tuin, en Edite is ook imker – vraag dus zeker naar haar heerlijke honingproducten! De combinatie van rust, luxe, eenvoud en hartelijkheid maakt deze plek echt bijzonder. Voor ons is dit een stukje hemel op aarde. We komen zeker terug!

We truly loved our stay at Patricia’s place. This place is a gem! This was our second stay in Abrantes. At first we were hesitant to book, due to the very few reviews (new unit) but we are so glad we went. The location is awesome, the balcony has amazing views. It was very pretty, especially in the Morning. Patricia was very friendly and helpful and communication was perfect. We wish we could have stayed longer. This was part of a 2 month trip to Portugal during which we stayed at 5 different airbnb and this one was our favorite. All the equipment and kitchenware were high quality and the place was quite charming, beautifully renovated and decorated. You can tell Patricia put a lot of effort into this house. It was quite warm (35-37degrees) during our stay and the heat pump helped to cool but it seems it could not keep up. I am not sure if we used it correctly. If we ever return to Abrantes we will try to book this place again for sure!

The house is a delight. Spacious and full of charm and character. Had everything we needed as far as amenities. Plenty for cooking, playing games, a few interesting books as well. It’s a good location, too. Most everything was easily walkable, including the city’s cultural center, and the stadiums where they have basketball and futsal games (go Electrico!). We also visited a nearby winery and used Ponte de Sor as our launching point for daytrips to Tomar and Evora. I contacted Luis a couple of times during my stay and he responded quickly every time. He was 100% committed to ensuring I had a great visit. I would definitely stay here again. Luis was one of the best hosts I’ve worked with.

Gostámos muito da estadia na casa da Patrícia. Espaço tal e qual fotografias e tudo bem cuidado. Ideal para descansar e conhecer as zonas envolventes. Comunicação muito atenciosa. Voltaria a alugar esta casa 🙂

Ficámos rendidos ao charme desta pequena casa alentejana, que preserva a alma antiga com um toque acolhedor. Ao entrar, sentimos logo aquele fresquinho bom que faz toda a diferença nos dias quentes — e que nos fez sentir imediatamente em casa. O pátio é um verdadeiro refúgio, perfeito para refeições ao ar livre e momentos de tranquilidade. A casa está bem equipada e tem tudo o que é necessário para uma estadia confortável. A dois passos há um supermercado e uma loja de enchidos excelentes, e adorámos integrar as caminhadas pela aldeia na nossa rotina. A Maria João foi uma anfitriã atenciosa e generosa — até nos ofereceu uma garrafa de azeite da família, um gesto bonito que levamos connosco na memória. Recomendamos vivamente!
