Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Pontchâteau

Want a peaceful haven? Relax in a great jacuzzi? Sleep in great bedding and find yourself in a quiet place? This place is perfect, the hosts are very communicative, they paid great attention to my friend who came with his two small dogs. The accommodation is perfect, go there with your eyes closed. I plan to go back as soon as I can.

We had a wonderful time. The house was just as pictured, the view, with a remarkable location. A favorite, it was sad to leave this magical place. David is a nice person. Regarding the equipment, he thought of everything, fireplace for a small friendly evening, garden lounges with different views. Excellent stay in this very beautiful welcoming house with a magnificent sea view from the living room sofa, a very beautiful and large garden. As in the photos. The accommodation is very clean and large. Good point for the location with the beach 5 min walk in a quiet residential area. We enjoyed being able to visit Guérande, Carnac, La Baule all ready.

We had a wonderful stay at Diane's and Philippe's place. It is plenty spacious and comfortable, private, and in a very serene location. The kitchen was fully and thoroughly equipped for cooking all of our meals. We appreciated the bright sleeping loft and large, well appointed bathroom, and sitting outside in the sun on the days the weather allowed. Diane's communication and directions were great, although she was abroad, so we didn't get to meet her during our stay. I have no doubt she would have been as friendly as Philippe, who generously invited us (twice!) to come and enjoy an evening of roaring fire, drinks, and conversation in the bar they have outfitted in an amazing, high-ceilinged restored space with enormous stone fireplace! The bar is a hidden surprise in a historic property they have painstakingly restored from a ruin. Even the neighbors were lovely! Thank you both for creating such a characteristic space in which to host people so warmly and openly.

We stayed for one night but everything was perfect. Clear directions and very clean place. The terrace overlooking the pond is incredible, a peaceful haven!

We had a wonderful weekend discovering the charms of the Marais and northern Vendée. The setting is peaceful and rejuvenating, with plenty of activities nearby. We enjoyed local specialties like brioche and oysters, and ended our stay with fun pool games at the property — a real treat! Aurélie and Jean-Luc are lovely hosts, caring and always offer good advice. A big thank you to you, and we look forward to coming back, we recommend it.

Very nice apartment, very comfortable, beautiful view of the port, matches the photos. Small downside, access via the stairs is steep and narrow. check-in instructions not given by Airbnb or late, therefore difficult to find the garage. Thanks to Virginie for being responsive.

Dear Bérangère, We enjoyed the time in your accommodation right at the harbor - great location, yet very quiet. The apartment is wonderful and very tastefully furnished and we had everything we needed. If you don't want to go to the relatively expensive parking garage opposite, you can find various free parking spaces in the small streets in just 5 minutes on foot. We had our dog with us and also had quite positive experiences here. Vannes and surroundings are worth a trip and this apartment is highly recommended for it. Thank you so much for having us. Great relaxing stay at La Gatee. William is an excellent host providing all the necessary information beforehand and also being extremely responsive during our stay with recommendations. The house is very spacious and is in a beautiful tranquil setting and is exactly as described. Our kids loved the two cats which are super friendly but not overbearing. Many thanks William!

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful, chic house. The pool area and spa and outdoor seating are fabulous and we spent many hours chilling here. Also the musical instruments and vinyl collection made this a house with such a laid back and happy vibe. Jean Luc and Ingrid were amazing hosts. They helped us to book many outings and made us feel incredibly welcome. The food upon our arrival was outstanding, above and beyond expectation. The location is superb. Many lovely beaches, pretty towns, wonderful shops and restaurants. Merci beaucoups!

Great family weekend (4 teenagers and 2 kids and 7 adults) everything was as advertised by the owner! Comfortable villa for 13 people. Activities on site for everyone and very pleasant. Comfort 5 bedrooms, large living room. Easy and responsive contact with the owner. Lots of info about outings around but in 2 days we mostly enjoyed it on site!

The house and its exterior are beautiful, and the location is perfect with a beautiful beach just a few meters away! Well-equipped accommodation, where everything invites rest and relaxation in the beautiful garden. Perfect for a beautiful weekend in the sun with friends.
