Margit’s place was perfect for my daughter and I. She had everything we needed, extra towels, sheets, full kitchen for cooking, cleaning supplies, a separate laundry room, a cooler, beach chairs and beach toys; which my daughter loved. Her place was very peaceful and BEAUTIFUL and I definitely enjoyed sipping coffee on the porch every morning. You can tell she definitely goes above and beyond to provide a great experience for her guest. She was always very responsive. I didn’t know a tapping sound on the glass was due to geckos in the area, but she and her husband came over first thing in the morning to check in. I will come back here next time I’m back in Maui 🏝️🩵

We had a wonderful time. The place is very comfortable. The upper deck had a nice breeze with a view of the ocean. Acces to the beach unbeatable.

Sharon and Mark were so sweet! We got a little tour and lots of great conversation with them! It was cozy and a beautiful location.

Where do I start? I feel like we found a hidden gem. Karrie and Kevin were wonderfully kind hosts, answered all of our questions and gave excellent recommendations. Their property is at a high elevation, so we really enjoyed the cooler temperature while sleeping. Their property is beautifully landscaped and has breathtaking views. It felt very much like home. The kitchen was exceptionally well-stocked and we got a LOT of use out the beach chairs and umbrella. Many nice little thoughtful touches. Loved seeing Scout the dog every day for cuddle therapy! Our list of must-do activities: Kilauea eruption, if you are lucky. We were there at the perfect time and it was WELL worth the 2 hour drive to see it at night! Night snorkel with the mantas. Captain Cook's Monument snorkel tour. Kahalu'u Beach Park - the reef there is teeming with tropical fish! Absolutely LOVED the location of this airbnb, can't wait to come back and stay here again!!!

Loved this stay. Convenient, modern house with clean and quiet location. We loved being able to walk to coffee and Merriman’s for dinner. The location is a short drive (15-20 mins) from beaches too. I would highly recommend it!

FABULOUS!! This was the most perfect landing spot for my vacation to Kona. This cottage is about 30 mins up the mountain from Kona. There’s breeze, ocean views and the jungle sounds at night at absolutely magical! The house is private, clean and spacious with plenty of outdoor space. We would stay here again in an instant!

We had an amazing stay, so peaceful and such a beautiful cottage and island! Close by the town and our hosts are very friendly and helpful! Definitely will stay here again the next time we visit!

We had a very short stay here and it was great. Autumn was a very good and prompt communicator, and so kind. The cottage had everything we needed, the instructions were clear, and it felt very private. Highly recommended for 1-2 people, although you can make a 3rd person work if needed, as we were able to. Robin was a great host. She was responsive and accommodating and the jungalow was beautiful. If you’re looking for a great place to reconnect with nature, it’s the perfect place.

Very nice and thoughtfully supplied Airbnb with beautiful landscaping. We really enjoyed sitting on the patio enjoying the scenery. Host was kind and very responsive.

Jordan was very responsive and very helpful. The Airbnb was solid and had all the things we required for a 5 day stay. The only slight issues are that there wasn't a dedicated kitchen (there was a kitchenette and a butane stove)and there were a couple of bugs here and there but when you consider that the location is a very tropical area, it is impressive that there weren't more of them. All in all Jordan is a great host and I would definitely book here again!

I have long fluctuated between 4 and 5 stars. 5 stars for the impeccable and perfect accommodation. Absolutely clean, superbly equipped and everything as written. 4 stars mentally, because someone (maybe the landlord?) lived privately under our apartment (because a few meters further he apparently builds another house on the property) and we had some noise problems on 2 days - but not from the construction work. Every morning from 6:30, 7:00 the first loud conversations and from 8:00, 8:30 then also partly loud music. Once I even woke up in the evening - it was as if my son was having a party next door. Thus, very noisy, we could understand every word. But since the overall impression and also the super contact of Brandee outweigh positive for me, it deserved 5 stars. Mahalo!

Great place to stay. Convenient to get around. Nice oasis created with lots of birds flying around while enjoying coffee and view in the morning. Very clean and comfy bed. Would definitely stay again.

Marc picked me up at the harbor and brought me back there on the day of my departure, very nice! He also gave me helpful tips for my activities. You have a breathtaking view from the accommodation and can enjoy great sunsets. However, it is a little out of the way, so a car is recommended. You are really surrounded by nature. Otherwise, the accommodation was clean and had everything as stated in the description. I can recommend this Airbnb to anyone who wants to experience Raiatea a little off the beaten track and be more in nature.

Very quiet area, beautiful neighborhood, nice, secluded backyard with tropical plants and flowers. Short drive from everything. Will come again in a heartbeat. The unit is very well equipped for all kinds of cooking. Very responsive host, when the battery in the door lock started running low, has arranged for a replacement in just a few hours. Was flexible with the check in schedule. In short, the way Airbnb accommodation should be!

We loved our stay at Julya's place! The lanai is everything! I will definitely try to stay here next time I'm in Kona.

All of us enjoyed our stay at Debbie’s place. It was the perfect size for 5 of us; and that extra 1/2 bath was truly great to have! We really enjoyed eating the eggs from Debbie’s chickens that she left for us. We ate them scrambled and soft boiled and all were so delicious!! We picked fruits and flowers from their huge yard and we made friends with their dogs, birds and cows. We wanted to take a picture at the house with our Broken Dog Ranch shirts, but I felt bad that we were already late checking out. So we got together on Oahu for our photo shoot! 😁 This was my 2nd time staying at Debbie’s beautiful hale and I would definitely stay there again! Mahalo nui loa for your warm hospitality, Debbie! Charles and Kathy are wonderful hosts. Great location for excursions. Easy in and out to road system. Highly recommend, and would definitely stay there again.

This place is amazing. Everyday we looked forward to coming back, showering in the beautiful bathroom and lounging in the living room or the extremely comfy bed. It’s private, close to great restaurants and things to do, and truly felt like a home away from home. Our hosts thought of everything we could need and even reached out to let us know we could shoot them a message if we needed anything else. We will definitely stay here again next time we’re in Kona.

The location is out of the city, but still accessible to all of the great places to visit. The view from the porch is hard to beat.

If you are planning on spending time at Volcano National Park - stay here! Lily and Brian were helpful and welcoming from the moment we arrived. Hospitality was top notch. We enjoyed the indoor-outdoor lifestyle so much! Everything was clean and comfortable. The kitchen was set up to cook really anything you could want. We spent the mornings before our hikes in the infrared sauna and outdoor shower. Followed by espresso on the deck. We got sweet hellos any goodbyes from the well-behaved family dogs. Lazy Acres is a truly special place. We cannot wait to return! So much more I could say but just trust you will love this place. Experience it for yourself!!
