What an amazing place, the view is spectacular! We wanted a peaceful relaxing weekend away from the city and this place was ideal. Would highly recommend for anyone looking to escape and unwind.

The most memorable get away we have ever had. Adorable and comfortable cabin with the most spectacular views. Adults, teens and kids all loved our stay and didn't want to leave. Host was very responsive and helpful. Thank you for the stay in your beautiful property Susan. We cannot wait to come back.

We stayed here for my boyfriends 30th and it was absolutely magical. The space was gorgeous and well kept, the bed was comfy and the fire and hot tub made for cozy nights. The property itself was beautiful, we were lucky to wake up to kangaroos every morning and saw a couple of wombats! Host was great at communicating. The town was lovely (especially the tavern and their live music!) We didn't get to go to the wineries due to the floods but still had a wonderful time.

We had a beautiful and tranquil weekend here. It was absolutely stunning. Of course the highlight were the gorgeous animals who so friendly and approachable and made the trip feel magical. Loved the spa inside the cabin. Bed was really comfortable. Wish we could have stayed longer.

I would highly recommend kylies artists cottage! absolutely beautiful, her sculptures and artworks were even more beautiful and incredible than I could've imagined. Great location, walking distance to town. Very comfy bed, great sleep! Definitely will be returning to this beautiful accommodation!

We had the most incredible weekend stay at Cathy and Manny’s place! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the breathtaking views and the peaceful atmosphere. The fire pits and indoor fireplace were already set up, making it so easy to just relax and enjoy our evenings. The house was spotless and beautifully maintained, with a fully equipped kitchen that had everything we needed – including quality wine glasses and even an automatic ice maker (such a nice touch!). You can really tell a lot of care has gone into making the place feel special and comfortable. One of the highlights for us was definitely the wildlife! We had friendly visits from kangaroos (who we got to feed thanks to the kangaroo food Cathy and Manny provided), as well as goannas, kookaburras, and wallabies. It felt like a dream – truly magical. We already miss it and would come back in a heartbeat. Thank you Cathy and Manny for creating such a wonderful getaway!

What a beautiful spot. Lavender cottage was perfect for us with little touches that made the difference. The fire pit was ready to go along with marshmallows and prongs to cook them on. Big win with the kids! Hubby and I really appreciated (and enjoyed) the contents of the decanter. After many hours in the car it was a great way to wind down on our first night and definitely encouraged us to grab a few local delights. If I was to nitpick, it would have been nice to have a few more decent bowls for breakfast. First world problems right?

Great place for gateaway with nature surrounding you. Peaceful and relaxing. Host are friendly and helpful. Will definitely try another time when its not wet and vineyard is green.

We had a lovely stay at Carol's Eco retreat. Beautiful surroundings and very comfortable accommodation with a lovely outdoor space, including a fire pit where we toasted marshmallows in the evening with our son. The whole place had a very peaceful vibe. It was also lovely to see the work Carol was doing rescuing and looking after young kangaroos at her sanctuary next door. Thank you for a great stay!

Beautiful cottage in a beautiful area! So peaceful and quiet. We loved our stay, perfect location to visit a few wineries with easy access to cook at home for some meals! Cute kangaroos come and visit in the morning and you can take a leisurely stroll to a delicious coffee and brekky just steps away!

Brilliant stay - highly recommend this place! The house is set in a beautiful secluded spot, where local shops and cafes are only a very short drive away. On arrival we entered this stunning home, which had ample space for 4 adults. The kitchen is much bigger than the photos and newly renovated, as is the bathroom. We were impressed. Outside at the back of the house there is a lovely fire pit - we spent much time here and then inside spending time near the beautiful cozy fireplace. The house has all you need and could comfortably fit the max number specified. If you want a stay in nature with access to Laguna and a short drive to the beautiful Wollombi main town then, this is a spot to choose. We also made a day trip to Polkobin to visit the wineries ! IF you have a pet, this is a great place. We have a small foxie and he was right at home.

The perfect base for our Hunter adventure. Location is right in the middle of wine country, with wineries in all directions. The cabin itself was well maintained and had everything we wanted and needed for a perfect stay. They also accommodated our dog which was a major selling point. The accommodation is owned by Harkham Estate, so a free wine tasting was included. The tasting was one of our favourites of the trip. The communication from booking to leaving was first class and always willing to assist where needed. Will definitely be back.

Our stay at Silverpoint was fantastic. Thomas and Christine were great hosts, super helpful, responsive and discreet. They even went out of their way to secure a Google Chromecast for us so we could watch the Formula 1, which we really appreciated. We will be sure to return to Silverpoint. The stay was just delightful. From the beginning Raea & Holly kept us up to date with the local weir crossing and flooding situation that had affected the state over the last week. Their recommendation to use a vehicle that had a bit more grunt than a small car was a game-changer. We had struggles at first accessing the hut - no one was expecting a fallen tree to be blocking driveway access (this was fixed the following morning - thanks Jude!). There were some initial privacy concerns, as the hut sits next to a driveway that leads down to a strange cluster of buildings within view that look like a campground; however, it was apparent after our first night that we were completely alone on the property. Each morning, we were treated to the dappled light through the trees as we awoke to the sounds of birds and a wallaby family grazing near the dining/entrance. The sauna was great, the tub/bathroom was a vibe, walking around the property was magical, and the hut itself is inspirational.

Light filled and central to everything you need, Marion’s place was the perfect place to stay!

What a lovely place that was. I really liked the vibe near by. I liked the fire pits, really cute animals and especially host was super welcoming. Pretty much everything is already prepared already and I found it cozy and warm. I'd love to revisit this place! Thank you for your kindness

Loved our off-grid cabin stay. It was just what we needed to slow down and reconnect as a family. No WiFi and no TV was awesome. The view is spectacular and we made the most of the fire pit and indoor fire. Extra touches like the fairy lights and comfy bedding was perfect. Loved it.

Loved the place and it’s true that the drive there was scenic. Their dogs were very friendly and greeted us on arrival - even walking us up to our door which was very cute. I liked how you could see the road from the balcony so we could car watch on new years (the road quiet all other days). Also we had the good fortune of seeing their towns yearly firework show from the balcony, well worth the price we paid for the view. As for ammenities, they included tea, coffee, sugar and milks but no oil or salt/pepper so be sure to pack some if you’re planning on cooking. They have a hot plate and pots. The fridge is fairly big too and has a small freezer section. If you’re looking for somewhere to just chill the place becomes comfortable very easily with lots of options on the TV, comfortable sheets, great aircon, a nice shower and many other good qualities.

A beautiful stay, very peaceful and lovely surroundings. Jill and Martin are lovely hosts and very hospitable. Would definitely recommend if you’re visiting the Hunter region.
