Cheerful 3 bedroom cottage on the Allegheny River

We built the summer cottage in 2006, for a summer home stayed on. We lived in the cottage 8 years when we wanted a bigger house. We love it year around. We are isolated with 3 neighbors (not close) and the river at our front door. Good boating, kayaking, canoeing, paddle boarding, fishing, swimming , hiking, bird watching (with a eagle nest across the river). December through February, it is best if you come with 4 wheel drive. Having said that , we keep the road plowed and the hill sanded.

Hotel Clarence

Completely renovated house converted to look like a vintage gas station on exterior. First floor has open living area/kitchen, with functional antique wood walk in cooler, 1/2 bath, bar and garage door which opens to deck. Many reclaimed materials used in construction including brick, doors for bar, etc. Upstairs was modeled after boutique hotel with king bed, full bath and picture window overlooking stocked pond and vintage fire truck. Garage portion not included, but could be available.

Hunting, fishing, kayaking, canoeing, biking, hiking opportunities etc... abound in our area.The kitchen is complete with dishes, pots and pans, full sized appliances and many extras so your short or long term stay will be very comfortable.Your well behaved dog(s) is welcome too (fee). The house includes a fully equipped kitchen, one bedroom with a king bed, and a pullout sofa in the living room. A fire pit, firewood, and six Adirondack chairs are available for use in a private area behind the house. There is a large backyard with trails through the woods and around the field for guests to explore.

The Titusville Mill is a historic feed mill converted into a restaurant/event venue. Your space will be the beautiful second and third floors, often used for a bridal/groom suite for our seasonal weddings. This is a true gem in the community of Titusville. The OC&T, Drake's Well, The Iron Work Tapp-house, and the Ida Tarbell house are must-see local landmarks near us. Our full-service restaurant is open Tuesday - Saturday, 10 AM - 8PM and Sunday for brunch from 10AM-3PM.

This cabin is a great place for a family getaway in the Allegheny National Forest. It is easy to access on the main road, but still gives you the feel of the forest. It sits and overlooks the Allegheny River channel, in the summer you can watch fire flies on the island behind the cabin while you listen to the toads and bullfrogs sing. The river channel provides many opportunities to see wildlife such as ducks, eagles, deer, beavers, river otters, turtles and much more.
