House vacation rentals in Playas del Coco

We loved our stay here. It was very peaceful and the view was amazing. The home was exactly as pictured. Only thing we would’ve done differently is booked a 4x4 rental car instead of using uber as it was hard for us to get a driver to get us around the area due to it being fairly new and in the mountains. Besides that, this was definitely a 10/10 stay and I would recommend it for sure!

The pool was the best part! We could have laid out all day long! Super fast hot water. Great view. Easy to communicate with!

First experience abroad with Airbnb... Great stay! We enjoyed the villa, the pool and the outdoor terrace attached to the rooms. Favorite for Playa Conchal which is very close by car. To relax and rest, it's a great place. Marie is very welcoming and responds quickly to our questions.

Absolutely wonderful place to stay. Stephen was a most helpful host and assisted us in making all of our plans for a short but fantastic visit to Costa Rica. The house is just as advertised, clean and spacious. The views are out of this world and the access to amenities on the resort are perfect. Quick trip to local beaches and restaurants and we even had time to prepare a few meals in the kitchen. We followed all of Stephen’s advice including a half-day snorkeling trip with Juan Carlos which was a home run! I literally cannot say enough good things about the experience I had with Stephen and his beautiful home. I just followed the playbook he provided during our pre-visit telephone call and everything worked out beautifully. Playa Hermosa’s beach is breathtaking and Stephen made all the right restaurant recommendations! I was looking for a simple and fun trip for my family of five and thanks to Stephen my plan came to fruition. So relaxing!

When we booked the place we knew the location was where we wanted to be. However, the house far surpassed the photos. Absolutely stunning views, pool views and well appointed accommodations. We absolutely loved it! We will be back!!

For some reason the room have only hot water,but, is just an small detail, the place is so nice and calm, I will back for sure

I’ve stayed in many airbnb’s over the years and our stay here was one of the best I’ve experienced. The home was exactly as pictured. The pool and outdoor space was outstanding. There was a gate with a check in which made things feel very safe and secure. Most importantly the hosts were extremely responsive and accommodating. Due to issues at the airport with our flight, we arrived a day late, Rebekah offered to adjust our booking dates to allow for a checkout that was a day later. Even though our late arrival was at no fault of our hosts they were still willing to go above and beyond to make our stay a great one. I highly recommend the stay and feel that the price we paid was truly a great value!

Wow!!!! Great stay at AirBnb in Octocal Beach. We visited Costa Rica for our daughter’s nuptials and indeed our stay at this AirBnb was an unforgettable experience. It was an upscale home away from home. The service was excellent! The atmosphere soothing yet vibrant, calm, and relaxing. The rooms were clean, spacious with stunning views. The amenities were top notch and every needed for a home away from home was readily available in the home. A nice property off the beaten path. It is a few miles out of Tamarindo with decent roads to get to the house. Beautiful nature surrounding the house. Carolina is very responsive and made our stay easy.

This home is located inside Pacifico Properties. The properties have a security gate for entry w an assigned QR code. The house has an open floor plan with a beautiful outside patio and pool overlooking Papagayo bay. Everything inside is modern and pristine and feels like a new build. 5 minute drive from everything you need in Playa del Coco. Close to several awesome beaches and close to a great dive shop (Rocket Frog). You can’t miss w this property. Enjoy Costa Rica everyone!

What an incredible place. It’s a few minutes outside Tamarindo and Playa Flamingo and worth the drive. The place has insane views and is so unique. Would stay here again in a heartbeat. 11/10.

The rental unit was exactly as we expected from the listing. In particular, a covered area on the roof deck was perfect for watching the sunset. A few comments from other guests had given me the impression that it might be necessary to drive to get to local shops or restaurants. Although we had a car, we found that almost nothing in town was more than a 10-15 minute walk away. (That said, a car was best for a trip to the grocery store.) Jennifer and Brian were both very helpful and responsive, not only in addressing a couple minor questions about the rental, but also in giving some advice about the area. All in all, a very nice stay!

Our stay in Potrero was nothing short of incredible! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth and care. Francisco was absolutely amazing—friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to make our experience unforgettable. Amy was extremely communicative throughout the entire process, always available to answer questions and offer helpful local recommendations. The home had everything we needed and was extremely comfortable—truly a home away from home. The pool was nice and refreshing, a wonderful addition that made relaxing after a day of exploring even better. One of the absolute highlights of our trip was the sunset experience in Las Catalinas and dining at Sentido Norte. Do yourself a favor and make time for both. The views are breathtaking, and the food and atmosphere at Sentido Norte are top-notch. We can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend this stay to anyone looking for an authentic, relaxing, and well-hosted Costa Rican getaway!

This place was very nice. The location was very close to the beach - walkable - and to downtown Coco. The pool was also refreshing after a day at the beach! The property seems well managed and taken care of - making for a comfortable and stress free stay.

This Airbnb is the perfect place to disconnect. The area is super quiet—ideal for relaxing and recharging. From the moment we arrived, the check-in process was smooth and hassle-free. Rodrigo was an amazing host—always attentive, quick to respond, and thoughtful about every detail. You can tell he genuinely cares about making the stay great. The Villa Royal Home in Tamarindo was absolutely amazing. I highly recommend for friends and family that are looking a 5 star place to stay in Tamarindo. As a clean freak the home was spotless, not to mention it is cleaned everyday besides Sunday. The views were breath taking and relaxing all at the same time, especially with the beautiful sunsets. Walking distance to most places we went throughout the town; however, in some cases it may be best to get a ride. Cristina was amazing! She was very responsive and helped our group out tremendously when needed. We wouldn't even look to stay anywhere else if in Tamarindo again.

Casa Prana was absolute paradise. We just got back from an amazing trip to Costa Rica, and this house made the entire experience next-level. From the moment we arrived, everything was flawless—luxury at every turn. The beds and linens were unbelievably comfortable, the outdoor space and pool area were to die for, and the coffee setup was unreal—perfect for those early mornings before surfing or fishing. The house had everything we needed and more. It felt like every detail was carefully thought out, making it the perfect place to relax, recharge, and enjoy every second. If you’re headed to Costa Rica and want to do it right, Casa Prana is it!

This was our first time in Costa Rica and we picked this place based off of the pictures and reviews. Like other reviewers say, this goes way above and beyond the pictures shown. Only because it’s impossible to capture the magic of Isaac’s stunning casa. We were a family of 4 (2 adults and 2 kids) and it fit our needs plus way more. The view out the back is magical! The infinity pool was everything after a long day of adventuring and being at the beach. Isaac is an incredible host and we are so grateful for him sharing his beautiful home with us. Costa Rica is the most magical place we have been, and Isaac’s place took it to a whole another level of beauty!

Casa Howler was gorgeous and spotless —exactly as pictured. The pool was really nice, and we even saw howler monkeys in three trees on the property on our last day. The beach is a short walk away. Salty also helped us arrange a turtle tour, which was amazing. We were able to see baby turtles go to sea. Playa Potrero was a nice, quiet town, which was great for us. You can easily walk along the beach to the restaurants or it’s a short drive. I would choose this Airbnb again! I was a little surprised that the property has a security guard overnight. He was quiet and respectful. The property is also surrounded by a fence, some with razor wire, as it is close to the main road. I think this is typical for upscale homes in Guanacaste but was different than what we experienced in other areas.

Alex was the best host! He listened to all our needs and provided a full itinerary for our stay. We had a driver, Johnny, who took us everywhere and made us feel safe the entire trip. The house was absolutely beautiful—3 spacious levels that fit all 7 of us perfectly. The infinity pool was stunning and perfect for gathering and taking pictures. We spent a lot of time at the house and still wished we had more days. We had a private chef a few nights—each 4-course meal was immaculate. Breakfast was made fresh every morning by Alex’s wife and daughter and was delicious. One of the highlights was the 4 masseuses who came for massages and body scrubs—pure luxury! This was the most relaxing and exciting trip I’ve had in a long time. If you’re thinking of booking, don’t hesitate. You won’t be disappointed! They also have a second house next door if you need more space. We’ll definitely be back!

This house was a great place for me and my family. We enjoyed the pool and open layout of the home. It’s very close to supermarkets and the beach, as well as the downtown area shops.
