Apartment vacation rentals in Playa la Ropa

Our 3rd time staying at this location. What stands out the most is the hard working friendly staff. Love the assigned seating around the pool or on the beach.

Nice big studio apartment located in Zihua centro just a few blocks from the ocean. Super comfy bed…there’s a balcony on the street side. No air conditioning but there are a couple of fans in the unit. Not a problem for me cause I like the heat. Kitchen has the basic things you’ll need…the fridge is a bar fridge. The hosts were very responsive. Highly recommended if you just need a basic accommodation at a very reasonable price.

We had an amazing stay! This spot is a true gem! Clean, comfortable & Emir, our host, had amazing customer service. Great location, just private enough or easy access (with stairs & short walk) to combis & taxis. We were able to walk the rocks to Las Gatas! Another thing to take advantage of is the day pass from Thompsons. All in all, an amazing stay, looking forward to our next stay. We did have an issue with water at the property one evening/night, but that was completely out of the host’s control. The host was very apologetic & compensated us. Wonderful customer service!

The place was spotless, everything was very nice, no problems. In addition, they gave me the opportunity to pick up the key long before check-in so I could do my activities without worrying about arriving before the latest check-in time.

We had a great time staying in Ixtapa, everything was as advertised and more. Especially the view, incredible. Maria Elena and Denise were fantastic, they responded very quickly to a concern we had about construction next door and they resolved the issue quickly. The only downside was they closed the beach in front of the hotel at 10:00pm, which seemed ridiculous. Not sure how you can close a beach. Besides that, everything was fantastic, we will definitely stay there again.

A wonderful place, the hosts were always attentive to our requests, the apartment is beautiful, the mattresses very comfortable, the kitchen impeccable and well-equipped, we had bicycles, a pool and a jacuzzi in an atmosphere of tranquility and rest. Easy access to public transportation and cabs. We would definitely stay here again

Love the place. The view was amazing. The kitchen could do with more cooking items like big bowls., better utensils, cooking sheets. A little disappointed they did not provide garbage bags or other cleaning products other than dish soap. Overall the place was amazing so amazing we extended our stay. We will definitely come back

We love this location! El Nido is walking distant from el centro and two beautiful beaches. The open airy lay out allows breathtaking views at all times. The staff (Lulu and Jose) are wonderful! We would love to come back tomorrow! Such a great place to stay!

This probably had everything we needed and more. The pool/hammocks were the fun touch we didn’t know we needed. The walk trail being right outside was extremely convenient and made it for a fun stroll to the center. Also great for biking. Soriana is right down the road as well. We went there a couple times. The AC was so good to have. Bathroom was clean and refreshing to have a window to see the sunset and hear the sounds of city. Water never got warm for us, but we don’t mind. Access to the building and room was very easy. The main contact for the Airbnb was very good at getting us things we need (lighter, water, shampoo). We stayed there 9 days. Didn’t know we would have a cleaning day after 7 days so it was a nice surprise. We just left them our room key and they cleaned everything, changed the sheets, as well as fresh towels. Another great touch was access to the smart tv, instead of packing a speaker for our trip, we played music from YouTube and made waking up early easy.

Isela was always aware of everything. She has a very professional and accurate touch when dealing with a guest. One hundred percent recommended, honestly, for what.

Luis Enrique made us feel very welcome in the beautiful apartment. Prior to our arrival he communicated with us and answered any questions we had. Once we arrived he gave us good recommendations to restaurants and activities in Zihuatanejo. The kitchen was well equipped and the bedroom very spacious. The air conditioning worked well and there were also fans. Luis Enrique organized beach chairs and an umbrella for us to take to the playa. The home is situated in a lovely garden and had a refreshing pool. It was near the mercado, so we could buy fresh fruit and veggies. There are six units in the building and the other guests were friendly and quiet. The owners live in the building and maintain a high standard of cleanliness and care for the property. They also were very kind and genuinely helpful. We felt very safe and are looking forward to returning next year.

Great and relaxing place... Near La Ropa... Worth the stay

Great location, close to the beach, very clean, very new facilities, clean common areas. The host was very attentive The place has everything you need and is always very impeccable, from the entrance to our room

The condo is very nice and in a beautiful complex with a large pool area overlooking the beach. There is a mall area that is a 1.5km walk or use the mini-bus for 12 pesos (the same bus will take you to Zihua for 24 pesos). The bus will stop right outside the condo gate. The mall has many good restaurants, shops and a small supermarket (Merza) for groceries. Ixtapa is much quieter than many Mexican resort towns (no noisy late night clubs) and we enjoyed that. Central Zihua on the bay is about 30 minutes away on the mini-bus (a short walk from the bus stop in Zihua) and there are many good restaurants along pedestrian only streets and beautiful scenery there.

Incredible place! The best view of Ixtapa Zihuatanejo, the apartment is beautiful and with all the amenities. Mrs. Vicky took excellent care of us. I recommend it 100%. We would definitely come back.

Gabriela was a super attentive host... I appreciate that she met the expectations of my first time in accommodation and first time at the sea... Thank you for contributing to my family's dream and I highly recommend the place, the area, the people in the condominium are very attentive, the neighbors are very respectful... the pool and the Jacuzzi are incredible... I will definitely return next year and recommend it to my family and friends. Really, thank you so much for the whole unique experience.

Wonderful place, excellent for relaxing, eating very well, walking on the beach, I loved the pool with a beautiful view, having the beach right outside the apartment, the facilities are well maintained, the apartment was clean and very comfortable. No climbing stairs. I highly recommend it. I'll definitely be back.

Place with a very nice view of the marina, it makes this nice, clean, quick access and very good service. The only thing we didn't know is that the entrance is with a bracelet, so they do not allow access to outside people and I could not invite a couple of people to dinner, outside that perfect place.

Georgina was very friendly and helpful at all times. She was and is a great host. The place is very well located in the restaurant area, craft market and bars, it is a very comfortable and clean place, it has all the amenities and necessary for a comfortable stay, the entrance to the beach is about 15min walk. Although my family and I went for the triathlon competition and we couldn't enjoy everything, we hope to return to have a longer and more family experience and stay, due to all the facilities it has. A highly recommended place for a short or long stay, highly recommended.
