Condo vacation rentals in Playa Flamingo

Not much to add beyond the countless rave reviews here. The restorative and serene view and location is obviously the best quality, but the condo itself is comfortable and offers all the comforts of home as well. We loved the empty beach, the sound of the surf, and the cackle of the tropical birds. If you want crowds and traffic jams, head to Tamarindo. If you yearn for quiet and a vintage Costan Rican experience, I recommend without hesitation.

This was a fantastic spot! Very spacious, clean and had a lovely pool. A short walk to the beach and a quick walk or drive to excellent restaurants. It was so nice to wake up and listen to the beautiful birds singing. Joshua was an excellent host, very helpful and responsive! Thanks again for a beautiful stay!

We absolutely loved our time at this condo! Ron was an incredibly responsive host and super helpful for any needs we had. The condo views were stunning and the ability to just walk steps to the beach cannot be beat!! The condo itself was comfortable, had everything we needed for a week long stay, was secure and we truly felt right at home. We would 100% recommend this property to anyone headed to Potrero. The location not only provides that easy beach access but it’s a short walk to multiple restaurants and adventures. We have stayed in Potrero multiple times before and we would without a doubt stay here again.

Absolutely loved this place! Very nice and cozy apartment with a superb location near restaurants and only 500 meters from the beach! I will definitely be staying there again!!!

For a week at the beach the place was perfect. It had a pool in the case we didn’t want to go to the beach. The beach was a walking distance from the apt. Renee responded promptly whenever a question was asked or a situation needed her help. I would go back there anytime!

Absolutely loved staying here while visiting Tamarindo for a few days! The space was so lovely and spacious and in the most perfect location. You could walk to everything within 5-10 minutes.

Lucio’s place was definitely one of the best Airbnbs we have stayed in! The views are absolutely breathtaking, the home was spotless, and Lucio was the most accommodating host we’ve ever had. He had so many wonderful recommendations, he helped us get settled in, and he even took us to the grocery store that first night there. We can’t wait to come back and stay here again. If you’re on the fence about a place to stay, this is definitely the best choice in Tamarindo!

2nd time staying here. Really like the location. If there is any problem they are on it quickly. Pool is nice and the beach is just a couple minute walk. Great place 10/10 recommend

If we had stayed anywhere else, I don't believe our vacation experience would have been as great as it was. The condo is immaculate with access to a calm pool, surrounded by well manicured landscaping, and a spectacular view of the bay and marina. The beach access includes a lot of stairs, but is worth every step and isn't crowded. Beginning each day with a cup of coffee while taking in the sunset, and ending each day with a breeze on the patio, provided the perfect recipe for relaxation and peace. In addition to Jenny's accommodations, the Flamingo area is full of friendly and welcoming hospitality. 10/10 would visit again.

We had a great stay at Karina’s place with our family. The location was great, nice views of the ocean from the patios on both levels. A short 5 min walk to the beach, but as others have noted the hill is quite steep. No problem for us, but I could see where others who are not as mobile would struggle. The pools in the complex were also nice. We had inquired about beach chairs before arriving, and to our surprise were not only beach chairs provided but also a boogie board for the kids. A really nice touch. Karina also provided a nice list of restaurants and local activities. Highly recommended place to stay in Playa Flamingo!

We were a family of 4 (two younger kids) and had a great stay in Flamingo at this condo. The place was very spacious and very clean when we arrived. the balcony is nice and there is a view though there are electrical poles right on front as the pics show. The location was perfect for us as we could walk the short distance to the beach and walk to the amazing restos in the vicinity. Grocery store is right across the street. We did daytrips very easily to Playa Conchal and Tamarindo. The beach chairs were very handy and we left a boogie board there for future guests to enjoy. A minor annoyance was that during the night the ACs would make loud grinding sounds so we just switched to the ceiling fans which were adequate. Overall the condo was great value for a beautiful beach town.

What a comfortable and well equipped condo. Everything that we needed to live there during our vacation was provided. The pool was well maintained and the building felt very secure and Yanis promptly replied to a couple of questions that we had. I would definitely recommend staying here.

What a beautiful condo! We were so happy when we arrived. Easy to find and perfect location. The beach pictures do not give it justice. We loved the quiet beach! Amazing beach walks and excellent amenities near by. Thank you Thomas Charles for hosting our family.

Our Family had a wonderful stay at Estella Del Mar! The condo is beautiful and spacious. Two families can easily enjoy this space with enough room for everyone. We enjoyed the beautiful views from the balcony, the pool and private beach. We walked to Nita’s coffee shop every morning for coffee and breakfast. We also enjoyed walking to Hemmingway’s for dinner and sunset. Flamingo Beaxh and Playa Conchal are a short golf cart ride away. This condo is the perfect spot for your vacation.

Fantastic stay, the best complex in Tamarindo area by far! Very comfortable bedding also, which js not the standard in many places here! Highly recommend!

Words can't describe how awesome Laura and Melissa are! Before we even our started our trip to Coasta Rica they both greeted us and explained instructions very clearly. Upon arrival, Laura promptly gave us a walk through on the property's amenities. Not one item within the property felt like it was unnecessarily placed, everything does its part to add to the beautiful esthetics of the home. If you're a coffee or tea in the morning I'll highly suggest have a cup in the morning and taking in the view from the balcony. From a comfort perspective, the a/c and hot water works great. Also, During our stay, Melissa helped organize a boat tour for us that was a blast. I could go on and on about the beauty of this place but I'll leave my review with this, if you ever find youself in the Playa del Coco area looking for a place to stay I highly recommend choosing this location as a way to supplement the memories you're going to make while visiting this beautiful country.

super great and peacefull place that is next to a lot of the bars and restaurant, kitchen is cute! sidenote; You do have to go up a little hill, nothing hard but nice to know.

Fantastic stay at this condo. For two people the condo is large but if you could swing it financially, do it. The extra room was great to have. Kitchen was complete. Anything you need was there. Bedrooms were big with their own bathrooms. Definitely would recommend this condo. I’ll be back. Tony

The villa was lovely and came with everything to make the stay easy — from beach chairs and beach towels to a fully stocked kitchen. It was easy to come and go, the walk to the Marriott was quick and easy, the pool was right outside, and the porch hammock was a perfect touch. Irina was very responsive and gave helpful suggestions.

We were a family group of 6 adults, 4 teens, and 2 toddlers. The Peninsula penthouse is a lovely condo to accomodate us all , with lots of room to spread out. Family members called this the best vacation EVER!! Melissa was the very best host I have ever dealt with—very prompt in all communication, and available our whole stay for questions. She provided us with much info for activities, local shopping and restaurant recs. She also made some arrangements (ie, golf cart rentals, cabana stays) . The Beach club was absolutely perfect for our needs, with everyone in the pool each day and teens able to spend time at beach with boogie /surf boards. (Beach club food is great with great service). The 2 pools at condo also were lovely and all pools perfect temp for swimming . Kiddie playground a plus for the toddlers). The sunsets at the end of day were spectacular. Yes, best vacation EVER!

This place has everything you need! Spices, beach chairs and towels! Well stocked for a great stay. However there is construction going on next door that we were unaware about. Otherwise this place was great!

Very nice stay, the host was always friendly and attentive. It had everything we were looking for and a lot of comfort. We highly recommend it.
