We felt very comfortable right away. We were warmly welcomed and taken across the river by jeep. The food was excellent! In the middle of nature, right next to the accommodation, is the small family restaurant, Laurence cooks for the guests and the mom makes delicious jam for breakfast. Next door is the river where you can swim. The family has 2 horses and dogs who usually lie very relaxed in the sun. It's a little oasis in the middle of the jungle. We really enjoyed it! My wife, my 7-month-old baby and I stayed at Irene's cabin and we have no words to thank her for her hospitality. The cabin is 30 meters from the beach. The cabin has all the amenities described and is more beautiful than what you see in the photos. Getting there is easy from Santa Marta. Thank you for everything Irene, we'll be back!

If I could give 6 stars, I would! Staying at Diosa Jaguar was an unforgettable experience—relaxing, peaceful, and deeply connected to nature. The cabana is simple, rustic, and basic—exactly as advertised and even better in person. Everything was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully prepared. Ramon was an incredibly helpful and kind host, always available for anything we needed while also giving us space to enjoy the tranquility of the place. The energy here is so warm and welcoming, with wonderful people around who make you feel at home. The location is unbeatable—just a 3-minute walk to a beautiful river for swimming and relaxing, and only a 5-minute walk to the entrance of Tayrona Park. There are also some really interesting hiking trails nearby if you’re up for exploring. If I’m ever back in the area, there’s no question—I’ll be returning to Diosa Jaguar. Highly recommend to anyone looking to disconnect, unwind, and experience the natural beauty of this magical spot.

The Tiny House is beautifully quiet at the end of a large, green property with fish ponds, water lilies and lots of nature. From the balcony you can see a river on the left and on the right a staircase leads to another one where you can even swim. The house has no windows, only fly screens, so there is always a pleasant breeze and it is pleasantly cool even at high temperatures due to the canopy roof. On the balcony you can sit for hours and just listen to & enjoy nature (hammock recommended). Important to know: You are completely immersed in nature, which also means high humidity, small animals and sometimes a spider. Anyone who can do it will love it. The shower adapts to the ambient temperature but that's totally okay. The hostess is nice, and also gives good recommendations. There is a self-operated small kiosk with the basics on the property, a pizzeria and a larger kiosk are a 15-minute walk away.
