Beachfront vacation rentals in Playa Azul

As a scuba diver this is THE place. Beachfront, accesible price, ideal for large groups as there are lots of beds. Walkable to restaurants nearby. Good internet, AC, web equipped kitchen. Juan Carlos was responsive at all times and made us feel like home. Extra points: there’s a beautiful brown dog watching the property

What a spot for a vacation! The location was prime and the room itself was well suited for everything you need. This is a hidden gem in the area. Things I appreciated the most: The ocean was steps away for a swim at anytime. The shop keepers and restaurant owners downstairs are great people and pleasant to talk to during your stay. Waffle monkey (breakfast) and Portofino are the best spots for breakfast, fresh seafood, low cost happy hours, and fire show at night during sunset. You can literally walk anywhere in minutes. There is 3 separate door with locks to get to your top floor rental so this spot is very safe! If you are lucky, you'll notice a 5 foot iguana that rests in the trees to your right off the porch, spending days in the trees. Alvaro is the mgmt person who helps you. He speaks great English and responds rapidly to questions. Can't wait to return and bring family. The two units next to each other would be an ideal joint rental for a group of 5-7 people. Highly recommend!!!

Great location, our only wish is that the property would have an elevator. Everything about this condo was exactly as listed, great private beach to anyone that finds this place.

This place (the loft) was absolutely beautiful and sits in the most lush beautiful tropical gardens. This is a typical great Studio Saxe tropical modern design. It is central to most things and we walked to everything over the weekend but if you want to explore some of the other beaches there are tuk-tuks you can easily take. Nosara has gone through some major renovations - with brick-paved streets and drainage. At the end of dry season this area of Guanacaste is always much greener than other areas like Tamarindo. The beach is great. The atmosphere is great for a chilled and relaxed weekend (or longer) getaway. The interior design is incredible and there is everything you would need. Plenty of places to sit and relax inside and outside on the oversized terrace that looks out over the tropical gardens.

Great condo, plenty of space and easy access to the beach via shuttle! Comfy beds and all amenities you need ! I would love to stay again!

this area is so on tune with nature. monkeys right outside in our trees. lots of friendly tourists, great food, and the most beautiful beach.

Lucas and company made us feel right at home. Very attentive to everything, we had a small incident with the Villa, and they immediately changed us to another one, to repair the minor damage it had. Everything is spotless, like new. The location is perfect, very quiet area, and close to everything! We will definitely be back!!!

My husband and I took our first family vacation with our 2.5 year old son, and Pedro's home was the perfect family-friendly location. First, the home itself felt even nicer than shown in the pictures. The home was spotless, spacious, and included everything we needed for our stay. Our toddler was delighted by all of the beach and pool toys on the property, and the pool has a large shallow ledge that made swimming much more accessible to him. The pool was cleaned every morning by the groundskeeper who was very friendly. The property is fully gated, and we felt safe and comfortable knowing that Pedro and his wife lived on the third floor, and the groundskeeper also lived on the property. That said, our stay still felt private. The location and views simply cannot be beat. Each evening, the sun sets directly in front of the property over the ocean. Playa Hermosa as a whole was quiet, calm, and welcoming, and I'd argue that Pedro's home is the best property there.

This place is fantastic, spotless, well equipped, secure, easy to access and a beautiful ocean view. The beach chairs/umbrella are a great bonus which we used to enjoy Playa Flamingo in comfort David is a generous, responsive host. Thank you for hosting us.

Casa Mareva felt like our home away from home. This was our second time in Nosara and it was even more of a wonderful experience because of this little jungle oasis. Truly, could not get more magical than Casa Mareva. We quickly found out just how close we were to the beach and spent every morning taking a stroll down to the water and over to La Luna (a personal fav) for a cup of coffee. The monkeys visited frequently (particularly in the morning) and we caught glimpses of ardillos and pizote's throughout the day as well. Afternoon thunderstorms were so peaceful in our little villa with the screen doors open and the pool was such a fun communal space for us all to come together and soak up the jungle. Despite the open, fresh air feel of each individual villa - bugs were mostly kept at bay. Beds were cozy, bathrooms were dreamy (particularly the primary villa's bathtub,) and the space was warm, welcoming and beautifully decorated. We had the best time and would absolutely book again.

Casa Samara was described as family friendly, and it sure was! The kids *loved* the pool and we could walk right out the front gate to the beach. It was about a 25 minute walk (with kids) to downtown Samara. The hosts were so responsive when we extended our stay and needed some clean sheets. All of the rooms had fans and all of the beds had bug nets. 💜

We had a great stay and enjoyed nearby beach, surfing, yoga, and restaurants.

Being able to wake up, sit outside in the cool breeze, watch the sun rise and listen to the Howler monkeys and wildlife wake up every morning is an absolutely beautiful and peaceful experience. In addition to hearing the ocean waves crashing against the shore. This place was the best part of our trip! Oh and the beds were so comfortable that was worth its weight in gold! This was an amazing location!

First of all, I would like to thank Rick: his house was clean, well equipped with a huge kitchen, wash machine and dryer, AC in all rooms and situated in a lovely garden with a nice pool. The communication with Rick always worked well and he was very responsive. Now to the downsides (which aren't Ricks fault and beyond his influence): we traveled almost all other parts of Costa Rica during the weeks before our stay in Guiones and where shocked by the price level (a pizza, some pasta and a bit of shrimps were more than USD 170 in a restaurant nearby), the dirt (along the road is a lot of trash which you won't find in the rest of the country) and the terrible smell in the village. And while the beach is nice, the rest of the area is really not worth a visit

I truly cannot say enough about both our incredible hosts and the beautiful home. Nathalie was the most amazing host. Responsive, helpful, proactive with recommendations, assisted with all of our needs, and was just an incredibly kind human. As for the home, truly, the pictures do not do it justice. Probably one of the, if not the most gorgeous place I've ever stayed. I'm so grateful for our time at Casa Bö.

The pictures truly reflect reality of this unit and 360 Splendor. We went at the start of June and had a wonderful time. The unit is on the 1st floor, 20 steps away from the infinity pool with an amazing view of Flamingo Beach. The balcony of the unit also has water view (of the bay behind). There is a nice gym, 2 hot tubs, and an open breakfast area, all on the top floor where you get the full 360 view which is amazing during a sunny morning. Breakfast costs $15 and you need to let them know the evening before. The unit itself is on the small side but sufficient for a family of 3 or 4 and has everything that you need to cook a meal. Getting to 360 Splendor may be a little challenging on foot if you have any physical issues. It is a fairly steep 0.5mi hill. But they have a few golf carts available to take you up and down. I am about to write 2 other 1* and 2* AirBnb reviews following our vacation, so I'm not writing reviews for the sake of it. But we really enjoyed this place!

We had such a lovely stay. The view is extraordinary, and the space is comfortable and clean. We especially loved the big comfortable deck chairs on the terrace in the mornings and at night. The pool is beautiful. The whole team is so friendly and helpful.

Nos encantamos Casa Sea Breeze! It exceeded our expectations and made for a wonderful time spent in Sámara! Bathroom set up was great for a family beach trip, interior space was lovely and the outdoor space was incredible and very well maintained! The outdoor shower was great after time spent at the beach. Beds were very comfy, AC in the bedrooms made for a great night’s rest and the decor was lovely too. Oscar and his mom were wonderful hosts, truly welcoming and so very helpful. Location on the beach was stunning and perfect, along with the close proximity to town. Truly one of the best homes we’ve vacationed in, and we’re hopeful to return one day!

If you’re looking for a quiet stay with all the amenities look no further! The beach is beautiful, private and pristine and did I mention just a few steps from your door step?? There is plenty of shade or sunshine which ever your heart desires. The beach out front is rocky which we loved, at low tide there are lots of little tide pools to explore. If you want to swim, surf or walk there is plenty of that too. Los Pargos is walking distance via the beach with several good restaurants. Also an easy drive if a sunset beach walk isn’t your thing. This place is truly a gem and an escape from the hussle and bussle of “real” life. Sonny and Rita are so easy to work with and fun to chat with as well. You won’t be disappointed in your stay here, 10/10!!

Our family of five (with three kids under four) had the most incredible month at this Airbnb! The location was perfect, with a breathtakingly gorgeous beach just steps away. We felt completely safe the entire time, which was so important with little ones. The house itself was comfortable and well-maintained, but what truly made our stay exceptional was the wonderful staff. Maureen, the housekeeper, was incredibly helpful and kind, making everything seamless for us. And we can’t recommend Domingo the cook enough—her dinners were a highlight of our trip! We used her services every night, and every meal was absolutely delicious. If you're looking for a stress-free, beautiful getaway with top-notch hospitality, this is the place to be! We can’t wait to return!

as a lot of the reviews stated. the dogs can be a bit loud but not loud enough to not have a great time. the cats that hung out on the porch absolutely made the trip and I'm not even a real cat guy

Views were stunning with an infinity pool. Huge kitchen and bedrooms. Beautiful home.

What a beautiful place!! The condo was everything like or better than the pictures . The location and the views from the deck and patio could not be closer to the ocean . The grounds and pool were very well taken care of . The white sand beach was wonderful to walk on every morning . Such a clean and safe beach . The concierge was very responsive and helped book some excursions and a golf cart for us . The workers also set up chairs with towels under an umbrella everyday. The condo itself was extremely comfortable . The kitchen was well stocked . We made dinner there 3 nights . We did walk to Coco Loco for dinner 2 nights and it is right next to the property . We preferred walking to the other places ( Margaritaville , JPs bar and grill and Hibiscus Bagel and cafe) in the day since the streets are narrow and not well lit. We did not rent a car so rented a golf cart to go to the grocery store and drive to the marina . We had a wonderful and relaxing stay .
