Family-friendly vacation rentals in Pitahaya

Wonderful stay in Oscar's condo. The views from the balcony were great as was the sand beach just steps away. The beach never had more than 10 people on it which made it seem almost secluded even though it is a pretty large resort. The pool area was great, area restaurants were also equally as great. Very short drive to El Yunque which we spent a day at. Arrive early as road construction up the mountain drops down to one lane more than once and backs traffic up quite a bit as crowds increase. The condo itself was great. Large, spacious, plenty of room for two families to spread out. Highly recommend Oscar's place

We had a wonderful stay! Vanessa was especially helpful with getting us checked in and oriented to the condo/building. She also went really above and beyond to check in on us and make sure we had all we needed. Location is fantastic. Pool and beach never crowded. Short walk to the neighboring resort, if you want to use their amenities. Parking on site. Close to El Yunque. Short drive to San Juan, Luquillo, and Fajardo. Highly recommended!

It was a great place to stay for a few days before our cruise. Absolutely beautiful views! Great amenities in the condo. The property was a bit confusing and our driver couldn’t find “cluster 2” and we had to ask a few people for directions. Also hard to get any food delivered. We walked to the main hotel (through the golf course) and ate there. Food was great, but expensive!

We had a great time at Lydia’s place. We had plenty of space, it was very clean, golf cart was great addition, and great views! The king bed was very comfortable. We would definitely come back !

We just got back from a week long stay with our family of 5 and had a wonderful time at Diana's place. The location is awesome and the views of the water from the unit were outstanding....just what our family needed. Diana was extremely responsive and helpful throughout the trip. The entire island of PR experienced a brief blackout during our stay and Diana went above and beyond to make us comfortable and accommodate our family above and beyond what other Airbnb hosts would typically do (we travel a lot and use Airbnb frequently). We have 3 young children ages 5 and under and they had a blast. We would not hesitate to recommend Diana and will keep her in mind for future stays beyond just this location. We will be returning!

We had two families stay at the Happy Yellow Beach House and we loved every minute! Accessing the beach was a short walk down a lovely path, the pool and hot tub were so much fun and the house was comfortable. The kitchen was stocked with all the basic essentials and we had plenty of towels. It was so convenient to be able to do laundry as well. We loved the bakery and new restaurant at the end of the street and went to the Luquillo Kiosks a few times - it was a great location - easy travel from San Juan! Manny was an excellent host and took care of all our needs, provided recommendations for restaurants, grocery stores, etc. Thank you for a wonderful visit and sharing your piece of PR heaven with us!

Paradise! There were extra sheets, pillows and blankets and an airmatress, which worked out perfect for our family of 4.

Mrs Renee was very attentive even before I made it to the villa. I had to fly out of Newark and she was forwarding information she would see about news with delays or cancellations. She was very responsive and provided very good instructions to get to and out of the grounds where the villa was. From the gate to the villa is quite a distance but she advised of this in advance. A car is a must, not so much of an option, if you’re staying at this villa. The place was cozy with a beautiful view. The place was clean and she had a very kind gesture for my daughter since it was her sixteenth bday. Overall, the place was perfect for our short stay.

Great location with great space. The apartment is huge with private parking and all the amenities needed. I will be back!

Loved the view! We enjoyed morning coffee on the patio overlooking the water and the trees. The bed was really comfortable, and the AC felt great! We enjoyed our stay. Kimberly (who manages it) was very communicative, kind, and helpful!

Peppers place was the perfect spot for a getaway we truly enjoyed our stay everything nearby was delicious! So close to the ferry and great beaches. He was super kind met us upon arrival to make sure we were able to get in the gate ok. And was so kind when we requested visits from his sweet puppy who would drop by on occasion for snacks the home was spacious and well kept and it’s for sure a great spot to call home while you’re visiting!

Completely loved the stay!

Beautiful and safe place! Great for larger groups as there is ample seating with a larger dining table and patio, washer and dryer in unit which was helpful with a toddler, beach accessories, games, kitchen essentials, gated community. Host was very responsive, friendly and communicated proactively.

We loved our stay! The proximity to the beach is unbeatable. The bedrooms were comfortable, and the porch facing the ocean was amazing. Would definitely stay again. Only issue we had was that the tennis court was in too poor condition to play on, but other than that it was a flawless stay. We’ll be back!

What a great place to stay! We were in town for 2 days and the location was great! Beautiful view of the ocean, pool, and safe building area! Kids slept on the hid away couch and found it very comfortable. The hosts were great to communicate with and were very helpful! Highly recommend this place to stay!

Our family travels a lot, and we don’t like resorts or gated communities. Jose‘s place was perfect for us. Open, spacious, unobstructed and gorgeous view of the ocean. Very quiet, perfect for families or those without children, alike. Sun drenched rooms in the morning, the sound of ocean waves, and the beach was incredibly private. We saw very few people other than the wonderful residents of Punta Santiago, whom we got to know by walking the neighborhood and visiting the stores. Don’t hesitate. Communication from Jose was outstanding, and it was a little bit hard to find the property, but only because it was night time when we arrived, and a few of the roads can be a bit confusing the very first time. After that, it’s a cinch.

Ms. Marta is an excellent host. We (me, hubby & 2 cats), just moved here to Puerto Rico from Pennsylvania. We rented this Airbnb because we wanted to look for a place between here and San Juan. Ms. Marta found out that we were looking for a place to buy/rent in the area and offered us an extended stay to continue looking for a place. (Relieved)! The villa we rented was clean, cozy and private. The linen smelled so good. There is a washer/dryer right on the property for your use. The hospitality was amazing. You want for nothing. When we told Ms. Marta we didn't have any internet service, she immediately responded. She spoke to the owner Mr. Juan, and that same day we had internet service. (Loose cable) Chewy is the awesome grounds keeper. If anything is needed, ask him once, and it's done!! He even brought my husband and I fresh coconut water. Gigantic coconut with a hole drilled on top. Yum. Nature, horses, dogs, singing coqui's and a pool! It felt like home. A must stay!!

Omar’s place was beautiful and in a wonderful location. We rented a car and drove all over the island. Only 40 minute drive to get to old San Juan and 20 mins to the Ceiba ferry terminal. Less than 10 minutes away from el Yunque national forest. Lots of places nearby to eat. 5 minutes or less away from the Kioskos of Luquillo where you can find traditional Puertorican food. Place was steps away from the beautiful beach. Something I loved and was very convenient was the washer and dryer. Omar had all we needed in order to wash our clothes. I’d definitely stay in this Airbnb again

Elise was an amazing host. Alex was incredibly helpful as well. This view is even better than the pictures. The beach wasn’t overcrowded at all. It was fun playing in the waves on this part of the beach. So many restaurants to choose from that are in walking distance. The Puerto Rican rum shot in the fridge was such a nice touch. I will definitely be back one day soon :)

The house is very clean , equipped and in a quiet place.

I had a great stay at this home in Luquillo! The space was clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed for a relaxing visit. The location was perfect—close to the beach, great local spots to eat, and easy access to El Yunque and other nearby attractions. Communication with the host was smooth and responsive throughout. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a convenient and enjoyable stay in the area. Would love to come back!

Betty’s place was perfect for us! We chose Luquillo for the location and it did not disappoint. The condo is walking distance to bars and restaurants! Some of our favorites were Boardriders, Pasta Y Pueblo, the kiosks, The Consorte Cuban club (dancing and music) and restaurants near el Yunke. You can walk to beach to the left or right and find a bar! Betty was very friendly, responsive and a great host. The place had everything we needed. Bettys place was very clean and well equipped with towels and linens and kitchen supplies. We enjoyed it and will be back again.

Rebecca was so attentive and responsive. The most I liked was the view and was peaceful, heard the sound of the waves, loved it. The apt was dated but overall I loved it and would stay again due to tranquility and peaceful.

100% would stay at Patty's place again! Immediately we all were struck by the cleanliness and beauty. The patio directly overlooks the ocean and the breeze it creates is stunning. Patty was incredibly responsive and super friendly, with excellent recommendations, you feel her love for Puerto Rico immediately. Everything we needed was there! (boogie boards, beach blankets, bags, shampoo, conditioner, kitchen utensils, coffee maker, and more). Lots of restaurants and bars within walking distance. We felt very safe walking around, everyone we met was super nice and had a great vibe - same with security guards. Driving from airport was easy (we had been nervous for it, but no need) the couple streets into the condo were very narrow but not busy, so easily manageable. Drive to El Yunque was also much easier than we anticipated - as well as drive to Fajardo for Hacienda Chocolat tour and separately our snorkeling excursion to Icaco Island. Thank you Patty for an amazing week of memories.
