Rest and Relax at the Hanger

Danielle,SRating, 5 stars1 week ago
I had an amazing experience staying at this Airbnb! The place was exactly as described—clean, stylish, and super comfortable. The attention to detail really stood out, from the fresh linens and well-equipped kitchen to the thoughtful touches like snacks, coffee, and local recommendations. The location was perfect—close to everything I needed, yet peaceful enough to relax and unwind. Check-in was seamless, and the host was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout my stay. They went above and beyond to make sure I felt welcome. Whether you’re traveling for work or leisure, I would absolutely recommend this Airbnb and would love to stay again. Thank you for a fantastic stay!

Redbird Cottage - Downtown Historic District

HakeemRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Incredible stay! Extremely clean and spacious for a one bedroom place. Quiet community, but near so many things in town. My wife and I both had one of the best nights of sleep in a long time due to that extremely comfortable bed! Great water pressure and heat in the shower! This place had so much more to offer than we even needed! Might be my favorite Airbnb I’ve ever stayed at.

Rose's House

MalindaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We have stayed at over 2 dozen Airbnbs, and Roy and Susan's house is the cleanest, healthiest home we've stayed at. Right before arriving at Roy and Susan's, we had left a moldy place and were experiencing symptoms from that toxic exposure, but our bodies calmed down faster during our 2-day stay at Roy and Susan's Airbnb and walking the trails at Callaway Gardens than they have ever calmed down before! We also loved their private backyard with the bench swing. Their house is in a friendly neighborhood, and even when the next-door neighbors had music playing for a party, we couldn't hear the outdoor music from inside the house.

Charming and cozy home by Historic District

MelissaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We needed to stay an extra day and that was not an issue with Izzy, the response was immediate when I asked for an extra night. We had an issue with the fridge and within an hour someone was there and we had a temporary fridge to use. I would definitely rent from this host again.

Welcome Home/ Ft Moore/Columbus/Pool Table

This was our first time using Airbnb and it was a great experience. Everything was as described. The host was very helpful and accommodating. We were in town for a military graduation and didn’t know the whole timing of everything so the host allowed us to check in early and out late. Very gracious and greatly appreciated!

A-Frame cabin with Dock on West Point Lake

JeanneRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We had a great family get together here. Plenty of space for the six of us, rented a boat and used the brand new dock, which was great! Used the paddle boards and tube! Lots of sun. Fire pit was awesome. Played ping pong, watched a movie, tried the karaoke machine but didn’t work great for us. Top bedroom air conditioner was a bit noisy, but earplugs were provided! Had to contact Chris only once for a question and he responded very quickly! Great host, great house.

Our stay at Allison’s was wonderful! Wish I booked it for a few more days! Super easy to find. Such a great place to unwind and spend some good family time doing all the things-fishing, boating and hanging out on the dock. Beds were awesome too! So comfy! Thank you Allison for everything!! Happy’s Hideaway - Fiber Wifi - Hot Tub

I’ll just say I booked a different Airbnb and when I got there at 10:30pm it was infested with roaches. I had to get a hotel for the night. I messaged Justin and with quick response he sprung into action and helped us out with his home. Definitely 10/10 loved the location and very peaceful. No issues at all. It was decorated very nicely. Thank you for helping us.

Ultimate Glamping-3Tents,Sauna,2Hot tubs,3Firepits

MatthewRating, 5 stars5 months ago
Staying here was the perfect quick getaway for our family. We attended the Christmas lights at Callaway Gardens which was only a 20 minute drive from Stephanie’s property. Pulling into the location was very pleasing as you drive back into the woods and away from civilization. The yurts were so comfortable and despite being below freezing temperatures, we stayed warm and cozy. Our parents stayed at the property with us and for a couple who was in their 70s and never thought they could go camping again, this glamping site was PERFECT! We will definitely be making Stephanie’s property a family Christmas tradition but next time we plan to stay for a few extra days to enjoy it even more!!!

Your guide to Pine Mountain

All About Pine Mountain

Located at the southernmost end of the Appalachian Mountains in Georgia, Pine Mountain has the best of both worlds. First there’s the quaint downtown area, known for its array of antique shops and boutiques, and where every experience is sprinkled with Southern charm. Then there are the wide open spaces where the spotlight shines on nature’s beauty. Nearby gardens have drawn travelers for nearly seven decades to striking flora and fauna and serene walking trails. Not far away is the massive park where creeks hop along trails that lead to small but sweet waterfalls. In fact, the area was so beloved by Franklin D. Roosevelt that the state park now bears his name.

The best time to stay in a vacation rental in Pine Mountain

With muggy summers and cold winters, the best times to enjoy the great outdoors in Pine Mountain are springs and summers, when high temperatures are in the lower 80s Fahrenheit and lows are in the 50s. Peak heat comes in mid-July, when highs inch near 90 degrees and lows are in the 70s, but it’s the mugginess that can lead to oppressive conditions, especially in late July and early August. Winters are usually in the 30s to 40s. The average monthly rainfall is about three to four inches, slightly peaking in February.

Top things to do in Pine Mountain

F.D. Roosevelt State Park

Georgia’s biggest state park covers 9,049 acres with 40 miles of trails and two lakes, with opportunities to go hiking, birding, fishing, horseback riding, stargazing, and geocaching, among other activities. Follow Franklin D. Roosevelt’s footsteps past King’s Gap to Dowdell’s Knob, where there’s a sculpture of him at the overlook where he used to picnic. The 32nd president also was known to swim in the area’s naturally warm springs to treat his polio. Waterfall lovers won’t want to miss the Pine Mountain Trail to Cascade Falls, a very popular hiking route that rewards with multiple photo-ready cascades — Csonka Falls, Big Rock Falls, Slippery Rock Falls, and Cascade Falls among them. The trailhead is 18 miles from Pine Mountain and winds through dense forest and lichen-covered rocks. If you go, be sure you’re wearing appropriate footwear to cross the streams dotting this trail and perhaps a picnic lunch to eat once you hit Cascade Falls.

Downtown Pine Mountain

Quintessential Southern charm comes to life among the antique shops and boutiques in the downtown area, which also has cafes, barbecue restaurants, and ice cream shops.
