Keitele opens on three sides, there is a beautiful, spacious log villa on the peninsula, and another one closer to the beach. The villa has a kitchen, 2 bedrooms, a loft, a bathroom, and a sauna. The beach cottage has 1 room and a sauna. The hot tub is available with a separate agreement and weather permitting, a surcharge of 130 €/week. Amenities: electricity, microwave, refrigerator, stove, oven, toaster, running water from a borehole, fireplace. The place is available from the beginning of October to the middle of December and again from the end of February to the end of April.

Small sauna cabin on its own beach, "Hyväntahtonen"

The beach cottage is located 2 km from the main road, on the border of Pihtipudas and Viitasaari. Sauna, swim and relax, even along the way, or stay longer! You can stay in the cabin on the loft and in the living room. Air heat pump and fireplace. Wood-fired sauna. Tap water is potable. A neat outdoor toilet in the outbuilding, where a new ecological and hygienic incinerating toilet seat will be installed in the spring of 2026. You have a gas grill and a rowboat at your disposal. The basic reservation includes a double bed for two people.

Quiet studio upstairs of an old village school

This lovely studio offers a peaceful setting for a one-night stop or a longer stay. The room has a so-called dry kitchen, which has a kettle & coffee maker and a microwave. The guest also has access to the shared kitchen on the lower floor, which is better equipped. The room has its own toilet and shower and the basement sauna facilities are also available. The forest trail starts right from the yard and on the other side of the road is the clean-watered Pyhäjärvi. The building hosts Hymyjooga yoga classes and sound bowl relaxation.

An easy overnight stay along the way! Peaceful townhouse apartment 1.5 km from the fourth road, close to the center. Families with children are very welcome 🤗 Beds made up + towels. Bedroom: 2 person Yankee bed and toddler bed Living room: single bed and double sofa bed. The sofa bed will be made up in advance if the reservation is made in good time. Sheets are in the closet. Essential supplies like coffee, filter bags, tea, toilet paper, spices. Please let me know if you need: a travel crib, a high chair, a potty. No Wi-Fi!

Electrified cottage with a good lake view. There is a rowing boat with an electric motor. Running water from the lake. (There is drinking water in a canister in the cottage.) The sauna has electric travel showers.
