The Maison de Montmorency dates back to the 16th century. Classified as a historic monument, it is located at the foot of the City of Carcassonne. With an area of 350 m2, completely restored from 2009 to 2016, it offers an equipped kitchen, spacious living areas suitable for families where old and remarkable architectural elements (fireplaces, stained glass windows, etc.) rub shoulders with contemporary furniture. Enjoy the peace, the view and the comfort of this stylish chalet. Very suitable as a romantic getaway or relaxing in nature with your family. We are at 650 meters altitude, in a hot summer it is always a little cooler than in the valley and with a breeze, very pleasant. At night, the lake cools down and it's a good night's sleep. We don't need air conditioning. Dogs are welcome, €15 per stay. For the winter, there is a wood-burning stove. We provide a wheelbarrow with firewood for €15.
