Beachfront Holiday Escape 30 min to Wgtn CBD

Large private getaway within a family home. Guests enjoy a private entrance from driveway; a large private lounge which also has a double bed, a private double bedroom with queen bed, a private bathroom and kitchenette. Cosy heating and electric blanket. Across the road is a safe swimming beach, a children's playground and summer pool. You can walk for miles on this beach enjoying the stunning views of Wellington city and the South Island mountain ranges. We are 3 mins walking distance to shopping and cafe precinct of the seaside Eastbourne village. (Supermarket, Library, Doctor, Pharmacy, Dentist, Hairdresser Beautician, Massage, Deli, Cafes, Fruit Shop, Gelato, (Two cafes do delicious frozen meals.) all within 3 mins walking distance. 10 min walk to Days Bay, a stunning beach that has a Ferry to the CBD. The East by West Ferry takes 25 mins. (eastbywest co nz) Kayaks and bikes are at Days Bay in summer to hire. (bike shed pencarrow com) (the boatshed days bay com) Buses go every 30 mins to Wellington City and Lower Hutt city. There are bikes to hire at Burdens Gate for a flat coastal ride to twin lighthouses and stunning views down to South Island. (bikeshed pencarrow com) We are 4 mins walk to an entrance of the National Park with extensive and beautiful bush walks. Quiet family of 3 live at the property but guests enjoy all private amenities in separate apartment within the home. Continental breakfast provided. Families are welcome.

Mustang cottage is quiet, cosy, very private with homely touches and secure off road parking. An easy 10-15 min trip by car or train Sky Stadium, WOW show and ferry terminals. A 3 min walk to Woburn train station & bus stop. Local supermarket, Subway outlet, and bakeries nearby. Ideally located close to Lower Hutt City parks, the Queensgate mall, restaurants, cinema and event venues. We offer airport pick-up and drop-off. Pricing reasonable. Our self-contained, studio apartment is on a quiet street facing the Waiwhetu stream. The space has queen size bed with high quality linen & a heat pump to keep you comfortable all year around. Things to do Walking/running & cycling. (Te Whiti Riser) coffee shops, Mall. (see overview for more) There is a functional kitchen, with oven & all cooking equipment. Own driveway, very safe. The area a is ideal for those needing to work or check in with work. 10 min walk to Woburn train station.

Welcome to Pīwakawaka Studio, a self-contained studio unit in the backyard of our family home overlooking the Hutt Valley. Access to the motorway from Maungaraki, 15-20 mins to the ferry and Wellington CBD or 5 mins into the Hutt from Normandale (we are 3 mins up the hill). Tea/coffee facilities are available, 44L mini fridge, microwave and a 49" TV w/ Netflix, & Wi-Fi. We have an excitable border collie and Birman cat, so pet lovers would be ideal. Parking is available in our driveway.

The Art House

Welcome to the Art House - a petite, quirky space up a steep driveway. Strategic location - 4 minute drive down to Petone Station where there is free parking, jump on a train for a 12 minute trip to Wellington. Jackson Street (6 minute drive) has more than than 60 restaurants, bars and cafés. From here it is a 15 - 20 minute drive to ferry terminals and CBD. There is no kitchen, just a microwave, kettle/jug and bar fridge. We live above the unit so there is noise from time to time.
