Bwthyn Llwynog-Mountain escape

What a brilliant fortnight we had - two weeks of warm sunshine. After a day out we would say 'let's go home' and that's what the cottage meant to us. Private, quiet, fantastic landscape, charming cottage with everything we needed. Cuckoos, ravens, buzzards, warblers, wagtails, and sheep with their lambs. Wonderful!
A serene landscape showcases a calm body of water reflecting the sky and surrounding mountains. Lush greenery is visible at the water's edge, contributing to the tranquil scene created by the interplay of light and clouds.

Little Cott - Cosy Welsh Cottage, Peaceful Village

RichardRating, 5 stars1 week ago
The cottage is very well equipped and everything worked well. Good heating and hot water system. Very comfortable rooms. Very quiet, friendly neighbours. Good parking. It's very well situated for exploring Snowdonia and the nearby coastline. Very pleasant, quiet village. All in all, just right for our (my daughter and I) 5 night stay. Communications with Eleanor and David were very good.

Stylish & Cosy Cottage - Town Centre Location!

GavinRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Everything was great and functional in the apartment and as advertised. Because it’s a rear unit not a lot of window light or any outdoor space, but again as advertised. Parking can be tricky but once you figure out there is generally space on the lane. Also there is pay parking just steps away. Grocery store is steps away as well if you need supplies. Quiet area but steps to pubs and restaurants. Super helpful local guide made by hosts.
A cozy living area showcases a black fireplace set against a white wall, complemented by natural wood shelves. A collection of firewood is neatly stacked beside the fireplace. A copper container for firewood and a small white side table with light wooden legs adds functional decor.

The fireplace was a wonderful bonus, perfect for cozy evenings after a day out exploring. The location is excellent, with easy access to most routes in North Wales, making it a great base for day trips and hikes. Highly recommended!

Bargoed. Cozy cottage

NicolaRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Great cosy cottage. We stayed as a family of 6 (4 adults and two young children) - it’s was snug but perfect for us all to spend a long weekend together. It was well equipped, clean and a good location for exploring the area. We didn’t make use of the garden, but a lovely space to sit outside too if needed. The only down side for us was that the property was on the roadside and the car was parked at the end of the road - we often had a lot of bags to carry to and from the car, which wasn’t easy with two young children. Overall though, a lovely stay and a great little house - we’d definitely recommend. Thank you Debbie and family for hosting us!
