Only a few open spots left in the summer to enjoy Nana's lake house on Diamond Lake, but September is usually beautiful and relaxing.

Although it seems geared more for families, and I was travelling solo on business, Dan and Mary's place suited my needs very well. It was clean, well kept, and comes with helpful and comforting amenities, like burritos in the freezer, a microwave oven, a big screen TV, and a wood burning stove. It's not just a room in a basement, it is the whole basement, plus.

An outdoor seating area features a covered gazebo with a wooden ceiling. Multiple black wicker chairs are arranged around a circular stone fire pit. A small table is present beside a heating lamp, on a paved surface surrounded by grass and trees.

The house is absolutely beautiful, comfortable and would definitely recommend and stay again! Negative part is the dog next door does not seem to like other dogs and the rooster that crows all hours of the day starting at 5am.

This review is WAY overdue! All my communication with Dave was timely, kind, and super friendly. All the instructions were super thorough and clear for us during our stay. The property is right on the lake which made our stay incredibly peaceful. Everything was super clean and tidy upon arrival and check in was seamless. A huge huge thank you for everything! Anyone who stays here is in for a real treat and will have absolute peace of mind. Many thanks!

My whole family stayed here for our son’s wedding in Newport— it was comfortable, beautiful and a great place to relax by the lake in between our festivities.

A wonderful home away from home with beautiful views. This home had everything necessary to cook and grill for the family. We appreciated the large covered patio and dock for our boat. Shelley made sure we had everything that we needed to make this an unforgettable weekend for our family.

Lakefront Home w Private Dock Beach Sacheen

Our three generation family just spent 5 nights here. We all loved it, so much so that we want to go again and hopefully make it a family tradition to spend time there. Very easy to get to. It looks just like the pictures. House was big enough for all of us but still cozy, comfortable and warm. Haviing the extra yard space was nice for privacy and quiet. Kitchen has everything you need--every time we said "wonder if they have _____", they did! Having an extra fridge in the carport was great, especially for beverages. The deck is an amazing place to watch the lake, play games, eat, visit, or even nap--and so quiet and peaceful, even in the rain. The dock and beach is great fun, and our paddle boarders especially loved it. Trish is simply the best host we've ever had--gave us clear directions and responded almost instantly to every question. I would give this place more than five stars if I could!
