Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Penang Island

The propriety is in a local resident area, quiet and place full. But the daily life routine of local may not coincide with the tourist routine mode. Bring ear plug if you are a light slepper. As the local gets up earlier than the "tourist".

Our short vacation in Penang was memorable and fun. When we checked in at Peddey's house we were impressed with the house, small yet so cosy and felt at home. The house can accommodate all the 6 of us just nicely and we had peaceful nights after our JJCM in Penang. Thanks Peddey. Will surely come again and book your homestay the next time. Sparkling clean and very near Gurney Drive

I truly enjoyed the stay here. The room and bathroom were spacious. It could fit many people, especially families with many couples. It was comfortable to stay here.

We had a truly pleasant stay at this lovely Airbnb hosted by a kind and welcoming elderly couple. The aunty was especially sweet and went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable throughout our stay. The house is spacious, spotlessly clean, and filled with beautiful plants that give it such a peaceful, homely vibe. It’s also conveniently located with easy access to everything we needed. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a cozy and heartwarming stay!

Lydia's place was fantastic! The location was perfect, close to everything we needed. The space was clean, comfortable, and had everything we could ask for. Check-in was a breeze and Lydia was a great host, very responsive and helpful. Highly recommend!

Late check in , last minute booking but host really fast respond & price very cheap . House really comfortable & big space . My parents also happy stay here even for few hours . Nice view , clean house . And 7e just a few step from lobby . Definitely gonna repeat . Thank you host for pleasant stay . Just a bit confusing to find the mailbox since im not familiar enough with this area but overall really nice staycation .

Lift is good. No issue on weekdays. Very comfortable bed and host provided a lot of pillows (4 pillows for 1 queen bed) Love the soap and shampoo provided. Smells good. I appreciate the host provided water filter which makes it easier for me to refill our water. The host provided 2 sets of keys which is a plus point. To note : parking is a bit of a hassle with narrow path for SUV. Please be extra careful. But not a big issue. There is a washer (no dryer) There was an internet connection issues when i arrived but it was solved quickly. I just hope the host can improve the lock system at main door. Overall , i enjoyed the stay and will consider to book again next time im in Penang. ❤️

This homestay very comfortable and safe to stay even it's in 13th floor. Very convinced location to reach Georgetown. The homestay is very clean and tidy. Owner very friendly and helpful. She provides all the perfect information / details which make our stay very easier. Highly recommended Iris Tham homestay. 5 ⭐ for this homestay.

The owner deco the room beautifully, which is very suitable for girls who like to take photos. The bed is very comfortable, the owner also has prepare towel, and the TV equipment is also good. You can watch Youtube. The balcony is also clean and the toilet is also good. But the washbasin in the toilet has some dirty marks. The refrigerator in the kitchen is also very cold..The drinking water filter doesn't seem to have been washed for a long time. Although the floor is very high, the sound insulation is not good. There will be sound when someone passes through the corridor at night. But overall is good, suitable for few people/group holiday to stay over.

The host is amazing. Great place to stay with your family. Carmen’s house is clean and even have a futon to sleep outside the bedroom. Nice place to stay if you come with your siblings.

Where to begin? What an absolutely stunning colonial home in a perfect location. Shawn and co were amazing with communication, the self check-in was well explained and super straightforward. Very easy to find the property too. The house itself is beautiful, plenty of space, very tastefully decorated, and comes equipped with everything you need for your stay. A big bonus is the outside seating area, garden, and wet kitchen area. Lots of nice places to eat nearby, and a very short grab ride to the beach, shopping malls, and Georgetown. Honestly one of the nicest places we’ve stayed during our travels around Malaysia, wouldn’t hesitate to come back here next time we’re in Penang. Thank you so much Shawn for sharing your home, for your professional and timely responses to our questions, and for making the entire stay so easy and relaxing. Absolute 10/10

We had a lovely and comfortable stay at Esther's place. It was perfect for our family group of 5 and it was an ideal base to explore Penang Island. It brought back memories of the yesteryears and was a quaint cottage with all the amenities required including air-conditioning. We hope to be back again. Thank you!

It’s a great stay at Cheah’s place, spacious and quiet, the stay itself is clean but there are some dust on one bed, but I think it’s fixable, house is clean, and towels that Cheah has provided are clean. The house can fit about 10 people, so it’s good for family trip, one car can park inside car porch and another car can park outside the house. Location wise is not far away from George Town, it’s only about 10-15 mins drive. Out side of the street there is a Mix store, so if you are hungry there is a convenience snack store. And there is a food court nearby the house, and further down you can drive around 5 mins there are more restaurants nearby the neighbourhood. Cheah is a very nice host, he turn on the Aircond before we check in because the weather of the week is too hot. He also sent places and restaurants guide for us. Overall the trip is happy and thankful to Cheah

We loved the stay and so do our pets!! Pretty and comfy house, friendly host! Very easy balcony access from both living room and bedroom. Most important is that it’s pet friendly! If we ever head down to penang again we will def be staying at the same airbnb! 💖💖💖
