Vacation rentals with lake access in Pello

The house is simply fantastic and perfect. The location is beautifully situated on the (frozen) lake with great views. In winter, you are right on the cross-country ski trail for a round of cross-country skiing or for a nice walk. In the evening, you can watch the northern lights from the sofa, so to speak, or you can walk a few meters to the frozen lake. The house is very high quality furnished and exceptionally well equipped. We felt immediately comfortable and the house had everything we needed. The jacuzzi and sauna made the house perfect for us. There were 9 of us and the house is also highly recommended for a large group.

Had a very pleasant stay. The views are amazing and the hot tub was perfect! The house is very clean and well built. It’s a short 30 minute drive from the city which also means wonderful night sky without any light pollution. Felt like locals during our stay here!

Miia is a great host. She is super helpful and help us a lot before we arrive Rovaniemi. The house is such a beautiful place to stay, be it the house environment or their surrounding area. It is too big for 4 of us but we did enjoyed it due to great location in front of the lake. We experienced Northern Light just in front of the balcony. Very recommended to stay! Worth it! We were a group of 6 adults, and we all fitted very nicely in this wonderful cabin next to the lake. The silence of the forest was at times solely interrupted by the chirping of the birds. We felt right at home in the cabin, which was equipped with all we needed. For instance, the cabin had lot of amenities to cook, and towels and linens were available as nicely described. Within drivable distance from Rovaniemi, it was the perfect choice to spend time in the Finnish nature. The fireplace next to the lake and the private sauna made our stay unique. We highly recommend this place for medium sized groups who enjoy outdoors and having privacy and alternate the visit to Rovaniemi attractions with calmness and slow paced life of Finnish mökki. We had no troubles in driving with a van through the muddy road that runs through the hill and forest to reach the cabin in spring time. Thank you so much for the lovely stay!

We ( 2 families) had an amazing stay at Johanna’s ! The house is large enough well furnished and the kitchen fully equipped. Everything as described in the listing. The location is super nice and we were able to see the northern lights from the house itself !! Johanna was quick to respond to our concerns and she takes care of providing extra heating during the very cold days! If you have a car with you.. then it’s impossible to go wrong with this stay. Thanks Johanna for hosting us .. we really enjoyed the stay !

We had a lovely stay with our two children ages 1 and 3. Natalia went above and beyond with fresh flowers and groceries for breakfast, this was a really thoughtful touch to the stay. There were gates for the top and bottom of the stairs that gave us peace of mind with the children. The home is cozy and attractively decorated. The location is breathtaking right on the lake with an authentic sauna and barbecue hut available to use. We highly recommend this home and location if you're looking for a traditional private lake cabin. We really enjoyed the remote location, note that it is 20-30 minutes to Rovaniemi and as described, make sure to come with a vehicle that can drive on dirt and gravel roads.

We had a wonderful stay here. One of the most beautiful and peaceful places we've ever been. The sauna and hot tub were perfect to get out of the cold, the bed was very comfortable, and the kitchen/ living area was well done and had everything we needed. We were also lucky enough to see the northern lights just walking outside. We couldn't have asked for more and will certainly be back!

A family home that's a real favorite, cocooning to your heart's content... It feels like home, far beyond our expectations. Our only regret is not meeting our hosts ♥️ (currently away). We will undoubtedly come back, share a Fika time with this lovely family…

Excellent apartment, modern, with all the accomodation to feel at home. Peacefull and quiet place nearby local village where you can have access to everything that is needed. Brillant and congratulations for the apartament.

We had a great time at Nicholas' place. The welcome and instructions were very clear. The apartment was very warm and functional, we felt very good there. The sauna is a real asset that we really appreciated. We would definitely recommend Nicholas and his apartment to discover Rovaniemi and its surroundings.

Wonderful stay in Lapland and the apartment is warm, clean and very functional. Niina and Heini are adorable and very responsive if you have any problems or questions. This place was heaven! It had all the facilities and things we hoped for a relaxing holiday. Sauna, jacuzzi. View of the lake, peace and tranquility. The first two days of our trip we were really stressed as the airport had lost our luggage but i have to say coming back to this place, really made us forget about all our problems.

We had a great stay! The place was clean, well equipped and really offered everything we needed. Communication with Ilke and Blake was great – they were always quickly available and provided us with helpful tips on things to do in the area. The location is very quiet and secluded, which is perfect for relaxation. A car is definitely an advantage to explore the area. We highly recommend Lapland Lights!

Great house with a nice view! Big windows through which you can see the northern lights with luck. We were lucky to see some on several days. At the moment, a new house is being built so that you can no longer look directly at the open space towards the river and mountains. But that doesn't bother the view of the northern lights. We had a great time and everything needed was in place.

Really great location near shops, lake and ski tracks. The cottage has everything we needed.

Magic place and cottage, Annele are a super host!

We absolutely loved it! The cabin is totally homely and invites you to cozy games afternoons in front of the flickering oven. The kitchen is well equipped, even basic food such as flour, tea, various Spices, pasta, rice, etc. were available. Not unimportant if the nearest supermarket is 70km away. The lake is less than a five minute walk away, a perfect spot to look at the aurora lights. Unobstructed view in all directions, as far as the clouds allow ;-) No noteworthy light pollution in the area, a dream. Tero recommended various activities on request, so we met Janne, the reindeer in Unari. This was truly a special experience to stand among hundreds of reindeer who have been fuming around the food like wild. We felt like we were in an animal documentary;-) So if you like it secluded, this is the place to be:-D

We had the pleasure of staying 4 days in this exceptional architectural oasis surrounded by stunning nature and overlooking the lake. We enjoyed the beautiful views from every room in the cabin—whether from the bed in the morning, the sauna, or during dinner. The cabin is quiet and located about 16 km from Rovaniemi, making it the perfect base for our daily excursions. We rented a car at the airport, which made exploring easy. Johannes has been an impeccable and incredibly pleasant host, always quick to respond and ready with great recommendations. Thank you for an amazing stay—your cabin has been central to our experience!

We spent 4 nights in this beautiful house! What a fantastic place to be, you'll have the entire house to yourself. The surroundings are quiet and quite beautiful. Marita and Sami are lovely and warm people. They will receive you when you arrive. If there is anything or you have a question, all you have to do is send a message and you have an answer. The house was very clean and provided with everything you need. There is wood for the stove which you can use. We have booked the ice fishing, the feeding of reindeer and the husky trip through them, these are recommended. The ice fishing is very nice because you do that with Marita and Sami. We enjoyed our stay with these lovely people.

The room is right on the lake, close to nature, and it is very convenient to see the aurora due to the snow, and the experience is still great.The host is very nice, the feedback is very quick, she also prepared two skis for the little ones, and the little ones had a great time.It was also a snowmobile and ice fishing experience, which was great!
