Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Pello

We had the greatest stay at Kosti’s ! He’s the best host we could ask for. He’s always available when you need anything, and makes sure for your stay to be as welcoming as possible. The sauna and pool are really nice to enjoy, and the location is perfect. The (then frozen) river next to the house offered us the possibility to watch wonderful auroras, and the proximity the Ounasvaraa ski station allowed us to enjoy it as much as possible. I could only recommend you to stay at Kosti’s place if you want your stay to be the best, and feel as a local.

Nous avons passé 2 nuits dans la maison de Sanna et tout était parfait. Avant même d'arriver, la communication avec Sanna a été très rapide et facile. Sa maison est très jolie, très bien décorée et remplie de petites attentions. Le sauna est un vrai plus. C'est la première fois que je loge chez quelqu'un d'autre et que je m'y suis sentie aussi bien. Il y a des gens qui ont le sens du service et Sanna en fait définitivement partie. Je ne peux que recommander, tout était simplement parfait.

Wir danken Matti und Marita für die schöne Zeit im Haus und kommen sehr gerne wieder. Es war total erholsam und wir haben uns von der 1. Sekunde an zu Hause gefühlt. Das Haus ist sehr gemütlich und warm, perfekt sauber und das Badezimmer war neu renoviert mit Füßbodenheizung und allem, was es angenehm macht. Die Sauna war toll. Die Küche ist perfekt ausgestattet. Die Betten waren sehr bequem. Das Internet war sehr schnell und ist ausreichend schnell, um von da aus zu arbeiten, wenn man das muss. Wir haben den Ausflug zu den Rentieren sehr genossen, die Langlaufski und haben uns bei langen Spaziergängen in den Wäldern rundum sehr gut erholt. Die Gastgeber waren immer ansprechbar und total hilfsbereit. Es war sehr interessant und wir haben viel Neues über Lappland und Finnland gelernt. Vielen Dank für alles und hoffentlich bis bald!

We fall in love with this house. It has a lot of great moment to offer. You can walk on the frozen lake, playing snow around the house, and even seeing aurora from the house window. Love the surroundings! The amenities are also great. Thank you host for the great house with excellent service.

The accommodation was super nice. We were 4 friends and spent a week there. The peace and solitude made the house unique. But you definitely need a car! The kitchen was super well equipped with a toaster, coffee machine, oven and little things like oil, flour, sugar and tea. So really perfect! The fireplace in the evening made everything nice and cozy. But the highlight was that we could see the Northern Lights from the house and only had to drive 5 minutes to see the whole sky full of the lights! We would come back again and again! :)

We had a lovely stay with our two children ages 1 and 3. Natalia went above and beyond with fresh flowers and groceries for breakfast, this was a really thoughtful touch to the stay. There were gates for the top and bottom of the stairs that gave us peace of mind with the children. The home is cozy and attractively decorated. The location is breathtaking right on the lake with an authentic sauna and barbecue hut available to use. We highly recommend this home and location if you're looking for a traditional private lake cabin. We really enjoyed the remote location, note that it is 20-30 minutes to Rovaniemi and as described, make sure to come with a vehicle that can drive on dirt and gravel roads.

Eräs parhaista Airbnb majoituksista, missä olemme vierailleet. Sopii hyvin kahdelle henkilölle, vuodepaikka löytyy myös kolmannelle yöpyjälle. Sijainti erinomainen; kaupungin keskustassa, omakotitalon erillisessä huoneistossa. Paikka on rauhallinen ja yksityinen. Hyvä suihku, jääkaappi isolla pakastelokerolla ja kaikki tarpeellinen varustus löytyy. Majoitushinta on edullinen. Ilmainen parkkipaikka on iso plussa. Mielellään tullaan toistekin.

The apartment was great, all as in the description, and the host paid attention to all the details. The check in process was interesting, but it worked great. All in all I highly recommend.

Asunto oli todella siisti ja hyvin varusteltu. Sijainti erinomainen, pystyi kävelemällä kulkea kaupungilla ja auton sai halliin parkkiin. Ida vastas tosi nopeasti ja ohjeistukset todella selkeät.

Estuvimos con nuestros tres hijos en Semana Santa y una estancia perfecta. Nos pareció que la realidad de la casa superaba en mucho a las fotos del anuncio. Por encima de nuestras expectativas. Urho muy amable, nos recibió, nos enseñó la casa, nos explicó con detalle y nos dio sugerencias locales. La casa muy bien localizada, en calle muy tranquila y con plaza de aparcamiento muy cómoda. Cerca de todo en Rovaniemi y muy bien comunicada para salir en coche. Muy confortable y acogedor, pasamos unos días muy cómodos y como en nuestra casa. La sauna, un valor añadido y una forma de probar costumbres finlandesas La casa cuenta con todo lo necesario, con electrodomésticos nuevos y no echamos en falta nada. Un placer haber conocido a Urho y volveríamos sin dudarlo si repetimos destino!!

Diese Unterkunft ist sehr empfehlenswert. Sie ist sehr gut eingerichtet, hell und sehr gemütlich. Die Lage ist wirklich sehr ruhig und das Stadtzentrum ist in etwa 30 Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar. Ich habe mich sehr wohl gefühlt und hatte eine tolle Zeit in Rovaniemi.

Mukavan persoonallinen kohde, arvostimme erityisesti rauhallista ympäristöä ja mukavia sänkyjä, makuutilan sai hyvin pimennettyä. Iso tv oli lasten lemppari:) Paikalle oli helppo löytää ja ohjeet sisäänkirjautumiseen olivat erittäin selkeät. Kiitos majoituksesta!

Wir hatten einen erstklassigen Aufenthalt bei Janne. Alles hat unseren Erwartungen entsprochen. Jannes Unterkunft ist geräumig und verfügt über eine private Sauna sowie einen Kamin, welche wir auch ausgiebig nutzten. Die Unterkunft ist auch ein perfekter Startpunkt für viele Aktivitäten in der Gegend. Auch die Ausrüstungen, die Janne anbietet, waren alle in einem sehr guten Zustand. Wir haben Janne zwar nicht persönlich gesehen, weil wir auch jedes Mal unterwegs waren, aber er ist ein toller Gastgeber, der jederzeit erreichbar war. Der Check-In und der Checkout war einfach und unkompliziert. Definitiv eine Empfehlung!

kiki's place is about 15mins walk to the city centre (~1km). it was okay for us to walk to and fro daily (had to clock in those steps! 😂). otherwise, the stay was amazinggggg!! her place felt so warm & cozy. there was also a file with instructions and even recommendations on the activities that we can do here! it's also a short walk away from the museum—Arktikum.

Had a wonderful stay with Nina. They were so flexible both in check in and check out. The place was quite centrally located very easy with nearby resturants and groceries. The apartment was super comfortable and the beds were super good. we enjoyed the stay and the only pity was i couldnt stay longer
