Bicycles can be borrowed and the beach is 2.5 km away. Great choice for a vacation or business trip. Note! It is a charming, traditional, renovated wooden cottage with a fireplace and sauna* located in a beautiful quiet neighborhood, on a tree-lined street, beside a park and playground. Our lovely annex was build in 1968, few years later than the main house where we live. It has been fully rennovated to accomodate a full kitchen, bathroom and a living area with a double bed and a vintage couch. We wanted to bring back some of the farmhouse charm with wood floors, raw tiles and a good twist of rural mystic. The kitchen was hand made from scratch to perfectly take you to a past now forgotten. The modern utilityes are there for your convinience, without breaking the spell.

We had a wonderful one night stay at Veronica’s place. We loved the sauna and the atmosphere in the cottage in candle and moonlight, sitting by the fire. The cottage is thoughtfully and tastefully decorated. There are other cottages nearby but it felt private and the view of the sea is beautiful. The grounds are rather difficult to get around and of course you have to be prepared for the lack of electricity or running water - but we knew that in advance. Water and firewood were well stocked, which was great. We would love to come back sometime!

We had a great stay at this house 🙂 It was very clean, cozy, and comfortable… perfect for our little family. We were traveling with a baby, and the hosts thoughtfully provided a cot, which made things so much easier for us. The highlight was definitely the sauna. It’s the most modern and high-tech one I’ve ever seen. A real treat after a long day 🧘‍♀️ Would happily stay here again and definitely recommend it to others.

100+ year sauna! Amazing to experience the history and culture of Finland here by the sea. It is meant to be a little rustic for how it used to be. The art museum of Sirkka Turkki next door is also an incredible experience to meet the artist and to see her creations. Ari and Arja are amazing people. On a very busy day, they still took time to find a special birch sauna vihta for me. They also made all of the toys available: bicycle, row boat, SUP paddle board. This is a lucky find if it is available grab it!

Apartment beautiful and peaceful. Free parking next to the house is a big plus! A wonderful home, respectfully renovated! The upstairs sauna is cozy and for once a good bed! The equipment is special, everything you can hope for and of high quality, which may be atypical. Air heat pump on both the lower and upper floors - no hot or cold air 👍 I liked it and I will definitely come back!
