Vacation rentals in Pelekas

We had a wonderful stay at Iaonnis’s place. Having stayed outside Pelekas once before, this time we wanted to stay right in the village. This apartment could not have been better, just steps away from local bars and restaurants, we were lucky enough to experience a live music festival one night when the village really did come alive. There is so much space in the apartment, air conditioning worked perfectly, lovely little garden to have breakfast. It is a real home from home, also Ioannis left us plenty of drinking water, some lovely home made kumquat marmalade and tomato jam, and tea and coffee. We felt really welcome there was everything you could need. Thank you so much for allowing us to stay in this lovely apartment, we hope to return one day!

Our stay at Spiros nest was totally awesome! The accommodation is located in a really beautiful village and is only 3 minutes away from the main square where you can find little shops, restaurants, a supermarket and some bars. From The balcony of the apartment you have a beautiful view over the mountains & the equipment of the kitchen and bathroom made our stay really easy. Spiros and Irini were great hosts and the communication was super uncomplicated. We can definitely recommend this beautiful place :)

I loved my stay there! Ms Athena and her husband are very kind and helpful. We paid for a one-room suite but ended up getting an upgrade because the one we booked were full. The view was amazing and the location is great. However, you’d need a car or motorcycle if you’d like to commute easily. The host comes in to the unit when you’re gone and tidies up. They let us borrow a parasol for the beach which was very helpful. The internet speed is pretty good and worked very well when I was working remotely. It’s also not a long drive away from the airport. All in all we loved our stay!

From the moment we met Despina at check in we knew we were dealing with a superhost. She was warm, charming and very clear in the check in instructions. The apartment has recently been renovated (we assume) everything seemed brand new. We have stayed in another apartment in this facility and Despina's was a huge upgrade. It is bijou but the covered additional outside balcony gives you double the space of most of these apartments. If you are looking for a smart, modern, clean, stylish apartment on the west coast of Corfu this is it. Highly recommended Despina and her beautiful apartment. Just one thing to mention is that the bars/restaurants in Glyfada start closing in October but the 5* Domes hotel stays open to the end of October.

Elana was a delightful host and the house was very comfortable. Two stories, with two baths, complete kitchen and lovely patio. She also went out of our way to help us with various requests. Our only reservation were that the walk to the beach is about 15 minutes on a windy road without a sidewalk, so for families with children it's important to supervise them. If you are allergic to cats its best to let Elana know in advance, as there are a few that crave contact with visitors.

We had a wonderful stay at Vicky's hilltop villa. The house was pristine, beautifully appointed, and well-laid out for our two families of four. Vicky was responsive and friendly and gave us welcome gifts as an added touch. The views from the rooftop patio of the sunset were outstanding. Everything about our stay was superb and memorable. We will certainly go back again.

A wonderful ambience and a great view, we felt comfortable. Since we did not intend to cook, the Spartan equipment of the kitchen (single hot plate and mini oven with grill, no kitchen utensils such as pan turner or ladle or spoon) did not matter, but you should know if you want to provide for yourself. Unfortunately, Nick and family went to the deserved winter break with their tavern on the second day, so we had to drive something to eat, you should also know if you want to take care of yourself there (which is worthwhile, very tasty and cozy). However, a car/scooter is recommended, even if you can also walk to Pelekas beach and village, which requires a good condition and is not comfortable. All in all, we enjoyed every minute and would be happy to come back.
