Mary Bell's place was a former hospital with an interesting and inspirational history of helping the local community. We felt very much at home and Mary keeps her place neat and tidy. Her decor added to the feeling of being in this desert, mountainous region and Alpine has plenty of stores and restaurants for your needs. A unique, private and comfortable stay!

Mary was a very gracious host. I had a serious family emergency and had to leave early and Mary was kind enough to refund me the remaining days of my trip without even asking. The Hacienda was very pleasant, had great amenities, and central to all of the places I was visiting. I will definitely come back and stay again. Thank you for everything! I look forward to staying a little longer next time!

We have remodeled two single-story historic homes for our patio rooms. You will find thick adobe walls. hand-hewn vigas, custom Talavera tiles and saltillo tiled floors. Most of the patio rooms also have enclosed private outdoor patios. All rooms enjoy outdoor entrances, ceiling fans and unshared HVAC systems. Available with King, Queen or 2 Queen-sized beds and microwaves, refrigerators, free coffee, and guest robes. Some of the rooms are “dog friendly” with a $35 per dog per night charge

Route 66 - Bobcat Inn

Get your kicks in our Route 66 room! Many people don't realize the road we're on is Old Las Vegas Highway, which is part of the Old Route 66. While the original "Mother Road" no longer exists, you can take a stroll down memory lane in our newly renovated road themed room which has its own parking and is just up the stairway and on the left side of the Bobdog Bungalow, which is a separate 2 room Casita on the Bobcat Inn property. The Route 66 room is dog friendly ($25/dog/night fee applies).

Located in the heart of Downtown Alpine, TX - This King Suite is -- honest-to-God -- our favorite loft (don't tell the other lofts). Private ensuite bathroom w/stand up shower. King-sized bed and three giant windows high above the city, overlooking the nexus of the Big Bend and letting in just the right amount of glorious sunlight. Step outside and you are right in the middle of town. Walk to shops, art galleries, coffee shops or take a stroll through the alleys and check out the murals.

Room 4 features a crispy red plaid color scheme and vintage furniture that makes this, our smallest room, feel cozy and honestly one of our favorites. The queen bed, private bath and 1950s chair and lamp provide comfy places to enjoy the view of the mountain with convenient access to the side entrance. Just 3 blocks from the main street, the Inn has a uniquely homey feel. Each room has access to the kitchen, living room, dining room with table that seats 8 and the sunroom.

It is as advertised. Old, inexpensive place to rest on your way by. They were very nice. Could be a little less expensive. There is an additional fee for your pet that isn't on airbnb. It was only $10, but it was still unexpected.

Amazing stay for an overnight. Our host was very sweet and we enjoyed our stay. Bed and pillows were comfortable which is must for me. A block or two away from local stores and bars. Couldn’t ask for anything more! Would definitely book again for our next hiking trip!!!
