Uitwaaien is a Dutch word that means "to take a break to clear one's head" or literally "to walk in the wind" with the intention to refresh yourself and your mind. Philip has Dutch heritage and grew up with this saying and we both lived in the Netherlands in Amsterdam and Haarlem for 5 years when we were just married.

Situated by the Botriver lagoon, with a private path for access, this hidden gem brings you to nature's doorstep. Look out for the roaming wild horses and a variety of bird-life. BushBaby is in Meerenbosch with communal pool, tennis courts and table tennis access. Ideal to catch summer sun or a warm, cozy fire in winter.

The farm is approximately 17 km from Gansbaai and 10 km from Baardskeerdersbos. It borders the Lomond Wine Estate, home of the Klipspringer MTB and running trails. Electricity on the farm is 100% solar-generated; the stove/oven and hot water heaters run on gas. Your stay will be unaffected by load-shedding. Note, the farmhouse has WiFi, but no televisions.
