We were very well hosted by Myriam. Suitable for the 10 people we were. Beautiful and large family home in a beautiful environment. We had a lovely stay.

We had such a wonderful stay at Marina’s Chateau. It is incredibly gorgeous, so peaceful, and close to many things in the Loir Valley. We were within 1 hour of Chambord, Chenonceau, Le Mans Circuit. The views were truly amazing from every window. We occupied the eastern half of the Château with all the privacy we could ask for. There are four bedrooms upstairs that worked great for us with our children and also a bedroom on the main floor. Bathrooms and bedrooms were well stocked with linens. You’re five minutes from a delicious bakery, 10 minutes from the Super U grocery store. Marina also gave some other excellent recommendations. We are truly thrilled that we chose to stay here. The Château has some amazing history, much of it, kept with the pictures and the originality of the building from the floors to other artifacts. And it was so wonderful to hear some of the history from Marina herself. If you’re traveling with your family, skip the hotel and get yourself a Château.

Beautiful spacious residence in a quiet environment with everything you need to have a good time(barbecue, pool, tennis, billiards, foosball, sauna) just a small downside for the pétanque court...We had a lovely stay with the family. Thanks to France for the great hosting.

What needs to be said about staying in a chateau?! Incredible experience for our family, very cool to be able to stay somewhere people come to tour. We really liked it and found it quite comfortable. The suite was very large - like an entire home. The internet and cell reception were intermittent, so touching base back home or accomplishing any work was difficult/impossible. But the experience is something I can certainly recommend!

A very nice place, and hosts who are just as nice. Be respectful of the place and Michel and his wife will be, just as they were for us, very attentive to your constraints on check-in and check-out times if possible. The weekend was enchanting, the apartment is very comfortable and well-equipped, the pool is conveniently located and maintained. All the conditions are here to relax, enjoy the historical riches of the region, and nature.

Lorie is very charming, welcoming, very responsive, very kind, in short a hostess that I would highly recommend The accommodation is even better than in the photos, we had the pleasure of staying in a space where you feel like a lord for a weekend. Pascal

A fantastic family chateau that accommodated 3 families comfortably, and even nicer in real life than in the photos. Large well kept grounds and loads of space to explore. There is plenty to do in the local area. Basic amenities within a few minutes' drive including a great riverside bistro in Daon, the nearby large town of Chateau-Gontier is 15 mins away while Angers is around 40 mins away for everything a city provides. Highly recommended!

Amazing location and beautiful surroundings! The house was spotless, super spacious, and full of furniture. We absolutely loved the fireplace: it made for the perfect cozy hangouts with friends. Alain and Clémentine were awesome co-hosts, super friendly and gave us great tips for hidden gem restaurants. Super easy to get to, and the perfect base for exploring all the nearby château!

We had a great time at Château des Hommes. The environment is very beautiful and the hosts are very kind. Albine and her whole family do everything to ensure you have a wonderful stay. Breakfast is hearty and the bedding is very good. We loved it and will be back with pleasure! 🥰

We had a great time with all our friends. The castle is beautifully decorated with a "wow" in every room, nothing is left to chance, everything is beautiful, even the dishes. The bucolic setting that surrounds it brings great serenity. We were welcomed by very friendly and available people. My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at Albine's place, it was beautiful and relaxing. Exactly what we needed! Her husband and her were accommodating and attentive to our needs, we had a really nice time. Definitely would like to return one day!

We stayed two nights. It went very well. The check-in time is flexible and despite the late check-in time, Branka waited for us in order to receive us. Branka is very attentive and always available and attentive. Breakfast is perfect. There's nothing missing. Salty, sweet with fresh produce. Nothing else to say.

Wonderful stay in the beautiful King suite that Château de la Bainerie!! The castle life was at the rendezvous …. The size of the bedroom and bathroom , the brightness with three large bays , bedding …. Everything was spotless . As soon as you arrive, you feel at home ... at the castle!! Our host is very discreet and always there when you need to . I recommend it. For a very nice weekend experience ….

Absolutely stunning location and accommodation! Loved every minute of our stay and felt totally spoilt being able to use the pool and relax in the gardens whenever we wanted. Extremely friendly hosts, nothing was too much trouble. An excellent place to unwind. Highly recommended, we will be back!

When I reached out to Albine, to give her an ETA, she messaged back soon. She was very welcoming, with clear instructions for entering the room and breakfast. Our room was a large comfortable space with good light, screened windows to let the clean country air into our room. We kept the windows open the entire stay to hear crickets, birds, thunder and rainstorm. Beautiful countryside estate with castle ruins on the property to explore. We didn't get a chance to use the pool area, but Albine had placed "pool towels" in our room, just in case. As a guest, you need to know, you are really in the country. The closest town that we frequented was Langeais and Villandry, with each having at least one chateau to visit and plenty of restaurants, chocolate shops, bakeries, and casual places to get a drink and a french style sandwich. This was a good base to do our daily exploring. Albine had many suggestions and knows the history of the area extremely well. Thank you Albine. Hope to visit soon!

We had a lovely stay at this authentic Chateau de la Bainerie. Check-in is self-contained and easy; many rooms are open to discover the castle. This one being quite huge the cost of maintenance is I imagine high, so we are happy to have been able to participate humbly with this unusual stay.
