Lovely little gite in the most stunning area at the foot of the castle and overlooking a walnut orchard. Close to many towns and areas of outstanding beauty and interest such as La Roque-Gageac and the ancient fort, Gran Roc with its incredible caves and Salat. Very peaceful place to stay with a delightful bistro 5 minutes walk and walking distance to the river and beach/canoe hire

We had the most wonderful holiday at Stephane and Bob's beautiful gite. They are very friendly and thoughtful hosts who have a fabulous home and garden. Our daughter loved the pool and felt very at home (as did we). The perfect place to relax but also very close to lots of places to visit. We hope to return! Many thanks 🙏

Wow, we just loved this beautiful house. Marine and Jean Marc have a truly special spot, perched high up on a hill, with the incredible character of an old house but all the modern touches. It truly is a work of art inside and out. We felt lucky to spend a week in this delightful house and Jean Marc and Marine couldn’t have been kinder or more helpful. The pool was lovely and the outdoor areas are so peaceful and relaxing. The town is close by on foot or just a minute or two away by car and has everything you may need, and the Thursday market is spectacular, but there are also many special shops and spots to visit in the region. It’s a really wonderful house, one of our favorites that we’ve stayed in on Airbnb. Hope to return one day and highly recommend staying here if you have the chance. Thanks so much!

Beautiful house, quiet, in the heart of the Périgord Noir. The few days were particularly sunny. In the morning, breakfast on the terrace overlooking the awakening nature. At noon, lunch in the back of the house in the shade in the garden. In the evening, return to the terrace for a sunset dinner. All, not overlooked. The only companions can be neighboring sheep and deer. The house is spacious and nice. And the indoor hammock allows for an original rest, in the cool, when it's hot outside. This is a lovely apartment and just as described. It has been very tastefully renovated and the fixtures and fittings are high quality and comprehensive. The location in the old quarter of Bergerac, near the river and close to shops, restaurants and tourist opportunities is first rate and it would be hard to find something better in a 2 bed apartment. Highly recommended and I am sure we will book again in the future.

The accommodation is located in the countryside, quiet; ideal for resting, even for a single night. The welcome by the owners was very friendly and having a cold beer in the refrigerator when we arrived was a nice little extra.

We throughly enjoyed our stay. We were met by Laurent's colleague who showed us how to lock the door from the inside. We didn't realize that locking the door from the outside (and unlocking it) would be such a challenge. But Laurent and his wife were readily available both times we needed instructions. The bed was very comfortable and the kitchen was exceptionally well equipped. In addition to the Nespresso, we appreciated the electric coffee maker with filters provided so we could make a pot of coffee. What stood out- 2 towels plus face cloth per person, the terrace, and a typewritten booklet by the owner with specific info in French and English about the apartment and area. Highly recommend this apartment and we would definitely stay again!

Contact was easy and smooth with Jérémy. Very smiling, punctual and clear in his explanations, he knows how to put you at ease from the start. The apartment corresponded in all respects to the description, it is modern, well-equipped, tastefully decorated and is much larger in reality. It is also very well located in Brive, the hyper center is about a ten-minute walk. Finally, the parking space is an undeniable asset.

What a hidden gem! Lovely place to really unwind and relax. Christine and Olivier really made us feel welcome and were responsive to any questions we had during our stay. Perfect location easily accessible and great parking area for if you hire a car. We will definitely be returning in the near future can’t recommend enough.

Perfect location right on the Dordogne, you are virtually with your feet in the water. We were in the upstairs apartment with a conservatory-like porch with sliding windows, so the view of the river is fantastic no matter the season. There, sitting at the large table, you can eat, have a drink in the evening or just watch the hustle and bustle on the river (only canoes/kayaks, no motorized boats). The small terrace is also facing the river side, but you can also picnic or use deck chairs in the large garden. The small kiosk on the beach in front of the apartment has excellent small dishes. We were also thrilled with the surroundings, as you can make different visits every day. Everything was great here. We will be happy to come back. Louise went above and beyond to ensure that we had everything we needed to enjoy our stay and was responsive and proactive in communicating with us leading up to our visit. My wife and I stayed at this apartment recently for seven nights. Communication with the host, Muriel, was excellent from start to finish. Check in and out was straight forward as Muriel picked us up at the station and her husband dropped us off. The apartment is located in a quiet residential area, only a two or three minute walk from the centre. It is well equipped for making meals, despite not having an oven, has a lovely balcony and is quiet, especially at night. It also has the bonus of an underground parking space although a small car is required. I would certainly recommend this apartment as a base for staying in beautiful Sarlat and visiting surrounding areas.
