Casa Sonia is so special because of its spectacular view of Tungurahua volcano and the Pastaza river.it is built by hand, the materials used are stone, wood and glas. the house is completely surrounded by nature which gives it a special touch. it is the perfect spot to relax, 20 minutes walking distance from the busy center of Banios, but still close enough to not feel isolated. there is also a public bus from the zoo to the Center, a taxiride is about 2 $ and takes 3 minutes.

It has an excellent location just 2 minutes from the central church by vehicle and a 10-minute walk close to everything in a quiet and very safe neighborhood overlooking the Pastaza River, the mountains and the Tungurahua volcano. It is fully equipped with all the amenities, high-speed Wi-Fi, and also a whirlpool. Our security cameras are installed solely and exclusively at the entrance to the property. There are no security cameras inside the accommodation

A very nice place, a farm with lots of fruit, birds and a very nice path between the peach plantation, everything very tidy, spacious and with many useful things, however it lacked some more kitchen utensils for more people. There was no hot water. But we really enjoyed being there. Transportation was accessible thanks to the cash provided by Gladys, our host. He is always available for any questions. They have a beautiful accommodation, you can rest very well, the area is beautiful to go for a walk and clear your mind, you can hire the service of a guide to go out and see the waterfalls, if you think you are going to need it or if you prefer, you can go out alone. You have the option to cook your food in the cabin or you can hire the food service. I hired this service because I wanted to try the local food and everything was super delicious. Lizbeth and her mom were always attentive to everything I asked or needed, they are very friendly. I recommend trying the roasted trout they prepare on site, and the blackberries they have here are delicious. Also, go out and explore the place, they have beautiful views.

The place was spotless, comfortable, and had everything we needed to enjoy our time there. The location is excellent—close to everything but still peaceful enough to relax. The host was amazing: very kind, attentive, and always available to help with recommendations or anything we needed. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Baños. Beautiful place! It's the same as the photos, a very quiet place. We went with our family and enjoyed all the amenities. Edwin was always attentive to our requirements and was flexible with the check-out time. The only recommendation is to check the hot tub water, which was cloudy, even though we could still use it. We would come back!
