Set in the countryside, 4 kilometers from Condat and adjoining our home, is our Cantal farmhouse known as a longère. Thick stone walls, wooden beams, large living room with traditional fire place and log burner, internet tv, two bedrooms, bathroom, and fitted kitchen. Enjoy sitting by a roaring log fire in the winter or in the shade of the old lime tree with a glass of wine enjoying the spectacular views in the summer. Whatever the time of year, you’ll enjoy the Longère’s comfort and charm.

At an altitude of 1200 meters, on a mountain ridge in the middle of the volcanic Cantal Mountains, you wake up to the sound of cows and birdsong. No traffic noise — just open air and sweeping views over the valley. From the house, you can directly step onto hiking trails towards the Puy Mary. Inside, a fully equipped kitchen, two bedrooms with box spring beds, and a pellet stove await for the cool mountain evenings. Ideal for those who really want to get away from the hustle and bustle.

After climbing a few steps, you will discover "La Lisou" with a view overlooking the valley. We have brought all the modernity for maximum comfort while respecting the wood and stone, for this beautiful house which is one of the oldest in the village. It is located in the heart of it in a small, preserved, quiet alley. We live next door, which allows us to have a privileged relationship with our guests. Departure from the house to the hiking trails, and 6 minutes from Lioran station.
