House vacation rentals in Parkes

We stayed at Tremearne Homestead for a long weekend in June. We truly enjoyed this beautiful house and gardens. The house had everything you could need for large groups. Fully equipped kitchen, large wood fire, air-con throughout and large windows with spectacular views out to the snow falling over the garden and ponds . The bedrooms are enormous, and beds were super comfortable. Clean and well maintained throughout. We had a very comfortable and enjoyable winter break away.

Jill and Greg were outstanding hosts who made our stay truly memorable. Their home was spotless, comfortable, and offered breathtaking sunrise and sunset views. They went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and taken care of, always attentive to our needs without being intrusive. The house was fully equipped with everything we could possibly need, from utensils and food staples to entertainment options. We were greeted with a delicious homemade sourdough, and each morning they kindly made us coffee, which was such a thoughtful start to the day. What made the experience even more special was the chance to connect with Jill and Greg. They shared great local insights about Parkes and their community, making our stay feel more personal and enriching. They truly exceeded all expectations, warm, generous, and incredibly hospitable. Highly recommend staying with them!

This is the second time I’ve stayed there. Lovely place with a beautiful westerly sunset view over the mountains and fields. The fridge is stocked with all sorts of goodies including delicious chocolate brownies (thanks Maria). No neighbours, nice and quiet and a perfect place to get away from the town and city to relax and enjoy the surroundings. I have stayed in a couple of places in Cowra, this is by far the best Cowra has to offer…

What a fantastic house for a long weekend in Orange. The house easily accommodated 4 families with plenty of room for all of us. Whilst it is an easy walk into town, the house felt extremely private and was a great place to sit indoors on cold, snowy nights by the fire with a glass of red.

Beautiful home in such a peaceful location and only 15 min drive to Mudgee. The pool and outdoor area were amazing and the house is very well equipped and presented. Perfect size for our 2 families! We loved our stay! Thank you :)

What an incredible place! Girragirra is incredible, immaculate & peaceful. Kim & Wendy are generous, hospitable, gracious hosts & Pete the dog is the cherry on top. Would highly recommend this place to anyone seeking a peaceful getaway!

One of the best airbnbs I’ve stayed at, we had a lovely time! The place looks much more nicer in real life with beautiful bedrooms, kitchen and courtyard area.

We had a great stay at Fiona’s cottage and my grand daughter Sage, was delighted the colour scheme was after her! Sitting in the sunshine at the kitchen table over looking the beautiful private garden was fabulous.

The house was in a great location. Hellen was awesome with quick responses. The gardens across the road were amazing! The house was a great size. Very relaxing few days :).

We loved staying at Catherine’s place. As a host she was super responsive and really helpful. She went out of her way to assist us when we needed. The accomodation was cosy and warm which was perfect as it snowed while we were there. Everything is close by which was also lovely

Another great stay at Hazelmere. A great house in a great location. We found the house clean, spacious and well appointed. Michele was very responsive and tweaked a couple of things to make our stay even more enjoyable. We all look forward to our next visit.

Excellent stay. it was more beyond my expectations. well maintained home, spacious, equipped with adequate needs. we didn't have much time to enjoy everything it had. worth the stay. will definitely recommend to all. To be noted, the heater was on to welcome us. Nice aroma in the house everywhere. Spacious Lounge with big TV with Netflix, Prime subscription for Guests, Guitar for musical moments, cubby house and toys for kids, adequate kitchen Utensils, Pantry stuffs, Heater/AC on 2 Bedrooms and Bed heater for kids room, very big backyard with Barbecue (unfortunately, we didn't have time to use or enjoy the backyard), additional Small TV's in 2 rooms, Carpeted Floor everywhere except kitchen and toilets (comfy mats and heater was there in toilets). must try.

The perfect place away from home, everything well thought out, fresh bread and milk in the fridge was nice touch. Great location

We enjoyed a very pleasant stay in Orange over a winter long weekend. Unbeatable location, spacious rooms and very comfy living room area to relax near the fire. It was a nice treat receiving complimentary wine, bread, chocolate and muesli to enjoy throughout our stay. One thing to note is that there was only heating (air conditioning unit and fireplace) in the back part of the house (living room and kitchen) with no heating in all the bedrooms (aside from electric blanket). Bedrooms can be quite cold in the chilly winter temperatures we experienced however keeping the heating on before bedtime assisted with this.

So much space for the whole family, inside and out! Luke was readily available when we had questions and had even come to turn on the heater prior to our arrival. Great retreat from the busy weekend events to relax and feel at home
