Better than the pictures. You can just feel the wonder and peace of this place. We immediately made ourselves at home and felt comfortable. We felt like we were in our own bubble. Peaceful and private. We had a fire each night and watched the fireflies. We were walking to the rock painting station and saw some rainbow birds flying around. We loved sitting outside and listening to the waterfall and nature. The treehouse had everything we needed. The beds were so comfy. You can tell they take pride in this place because of the many details they put into both the inside and outside of the treehouse. It did rain our whole stay and the river was dangerously high, but that didn’t matter at all. We just enjoyed our time together in such a wonderful place.

We had a great stay! It was a great location, close to the fun downtown area but also felt like you were far out. Everything was clean and peaceful and as advertised. We appreciated the use of the pool and plenty of animals to hang out with!

What an amazing place to stay! We stayed over Thanksgiving and it was close enough to Ft. Worth to visit friends and Granbury where we had some work to do the next couple of days. Super peaceful and comfortable! Wish we had more time to be able to explore the ranch! The shower was fantastic and I was determined to use the hot tub even though it was cold outside! Really unique experience staying in a safari tent. I highly recommend it!

We LOVE staying at the barn. We’ve been a few times now and it honestly feels like a home away from home. Jamee and Mark are so friendly and welcoming—it’s always such a laid-back, easy stay. We love that we can bring the dogs, and they always have the best time too. The open space, the animals (the girls/chickens crack us up), the pool, the smoker—it’s all just perfect. Total reset from work and city life. It’s peaceful, beautiful, and always hard to leave. Already looking forward to the next trip back!!

Their home is something special—calm, welcoming, and thoughtfully maintained in every way. Martha and Jim are the most attentive hosts I’ve ever encountered, always making sure everything is just right, yet they’re never intrusive. They strike the perfect balance of being available without ever being overbearing.
