Monthly Rentals in Paralia Plathenia

Being able to stay in one of the sirmatas (fisherman's houses) on the island is a total treat. This is a gorgeous cove, and tourists come down to visit all day long. But if you are renting here, you are already there before they arrive and after they leave. The Airbnb is immaculate. One bedroom+bathroom opens to the balcony, and a second bedroom+bathroom opens to the balcony too, but also has the kitchenette inside (just be aware that there is no separation/door between the kitchenette and the latter bedroom, so early morning risers making coffee may wake up later sleepers in their bed a few feet away :). We had a great time exploring the cove, playing with the island cats, and walking 30 seconds from our room into the sea. There's also a trendy bar/cafe on the small beach, with loungers, if that's your thing. But Yianni bought us some wine and basic groceries and the villa has two areas to lounge in the sun, so we just stayed in our villa and enjoyed every moment. Efharisto, Yianni!

Vasileios was an amazing host- he helped us out with many things! The place is located in the most magical bay, we loved our time there! We hope to return one day!

Absolutely magical spot! We wanted a quiet traditional fishermen's cove for our first trip to the Greek Islands and this well and truly exceeded our expectations. You definitely need a car to get down the dirt track to the cove but it is well worth it. It's stunningly beautiful. You can jump in the water right in front of the accommodation. The place was spotless, plus had thought of everything - extra towels, sun chairs, yummy biscuits, local honey and some wine. The communication was so prompt . The sunset view on the balcony each night was spectacular. We adored it. Such a special location.

We stayed in Natalia home for 4 wonderful days. Natalia was very responsive and was a great help in navigating the island. She offered cleaning services, food recommendations/ dinner reservations in the top restaurants on the island, and she booked a catamaran for us to see the entire island. She truly went above and beyond for us to feel at home and we are beyond grateful!
