A lovely house with big rooms,, stocked with everything we needed..bedrooms are spacious with plenty of storage, the kitchen has all you want for making snacks or meals and there was always plenty of hot water from the shower! A short walk to the beach & boulevard through charming paved streets and our hosts were next door if we needed any extra info.. All in all we would thoroughly recommend this Air B n B!!

Amazing Seafront Suite

This place was fabulous. It was spotlessly clean and had everything we could possibly want. Georgia (Maria’s sister) was there to meet us when we arrived and showed us around. Any questions were answered immediately. She arranged for cleaning and bedding changes. We were here for 5 weeks and most Airbnb’s do not do that. Can’t recommend this place enough. The view and the sound of the ocean were the best. Within walking distance there were so many restaurants. Heaven really. I wasn’t 100% sure we had picked the right location but after touring the whole island we are convinced that Ierapetra was our best choice. Not as touristy as the north shore and still lots of beaches if you want. The locals were so helpful and friendly Thank you Maria and Georgia

Apartment "Avra" with a unique view to the sea.

My husband and I stayed at Avra for a two week period. It is in an ideal location. One short block up from the sea and only steps from shopping/restaurants. There are fantastic views of the water from several windows. Avra has a number of balconies two of which are outfitted with a small table and two chairs to enjoy in the sun or shade. Across the street is a track if you like to jog or walk. We always felt safe in the community. You will find the apartment very clean and orderly as shown in pictures. Upon arrival Sopia had left a few thoughtful gifts ( nuts, scented soaps). A very nice touch! She also provided us with recommendations for well rated taverna. One in particular we frequented several times was called 'Cleo'. It was a 15 minute walk east along the water on the main road infront of the building. The food and service was exceptional. It is well worth the walk (although you could drive) and reasonably priced for quality, authentic cuisine. Cleo's, definitely a cut above!
